Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur

Amazing stay in one word. From the grand welcome to the great heritage room with amazing goodies like traditional sweets, cake, roses, fruits to ensure a great anniversary celebration. The staffs were great always smilling and eager to take photos when asked. Palace tour was very informative and the dinner at Neel Kamal amazing rajasthani food in a very nice setting. Special shout out to Gaurav and Mahender.

I've always heard about Taj's legendary hospitality, and while I've stayed at many of their properties, this experience truly lived up to the reputation. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and cared for — it was exceptional service at every touchpoint. I'd especially like to recognize Prerna at reception, Shaurya at the jetty entrance, Naman on the night shift, Suresh at the spa, and Chef Muskan. Their warmth and attentiveness made all the difference. The thoughtful touches — like the complimentary earplugs and pillow mist to ensure a restful night's sleep — were truly special and much appreciated. Thank you for such extraordinary hospitality. I'm already planning to return with my husband!

Enjoyed stay in the 200 year old palace. Good food and nice staff. The cultural performance in the evening was very good.

Food : Amazing food with all kinda of varities and the ambience was amazing. Breakfast was served with utmost patience and love. Location : Nothing better in the world than this place. The place had amazing vibes and it was just the perfect location. Facilities : Everything was just perfect including the staff and every single thing.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Excellent ambience and rooms. The staff are very cordial and helpful. Restaurants offer a very fine dining experience. The cultural programs were outstanding.

We had exceptional stay at Taj. Had wonderful guidance by Kunal, Yuvraj was also good host. Praveen was kind person. Food was also yummy.

location is amazing.but little bit costly.

Food was awesome, the stay was comfortable and safe for solo trip. I had issue with room as it has a small lake view window which was different from what I was expecting from pics available but I managed as they helped me with late checkin. Staff was friendly, thought I couldn't understand the reason of charging 400 bucks for a 40 bucks diet coke

Lovely property , couteous staff. Right from the check in to check out.. This is the 282 year old palace.. initially i thought furnitures and bathroom fitting might have worn out over years , but i was wrong. Hotel managemnet have converted palace in to a luxurious hotel for sure. Do visit for a fanatastic stay. thanks for the room upgrade to palace suites food of thw hotel is simply wow. do visit for unique experience.

Taj Lake Palace is awesome, which makes you feel like King, each and every thing was just outstanding, from welcome food was delicious, culturel program was great, we take our dinner at neel kamal that was great, at night I go to Amrit Sagar for some whiskey they really make you feel like King

Ultimate location, beautiful ambience, respectful and well trained staff, nice food and served with love,rooms are very tastefully done, room service is too good, very fast clearance of bills. Overall a very very good experience

The property is impeccably maintained and the hospitality is outstanding. We enjoyed meals at all the restaurants, the spa service, heritage walks, boat rides and the wonderful music and dance events in the evening. This has definitely been our best taj experience.
