Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Kochi

We traveled with our 7-month-old to Taj. We stayed in a superior room heritage wing room number 105. The room was very clean, spacious, and cozy. The sanitation and cleanliness of the property are top-notch. The attention they give towards keeping the property sanitized is commendable. The services provided are top-notch. The ambiance, food were all great and above expectations. Special mention and thanks to Mr. Ashok who made sure that we had a good and comfortable experience throughout our stay. He would understand our needs even without us asking about it. His support was that good which added to our pleasant stay at the Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Kochi. The service of the staff at the Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Kochi for breakfast and dinner were great. They leave no stone unturned to ensure their guests are served properly. A special mention to one of the staff there Mr. Sathish. I wanted to buy formula milk powder for my kid and I was not very accustomed to the area, I didn't know where the nearest medical store was. Google pointed to a medical store that was 30 minutes away. So I went down to take my car and drive there. Thats when satish came to me while in-was waiting for my car and gave me the number of a medical store nearby "lobo medicals" who were kind enough to deliver the package in 10 minutes. I wanted to mention all these just to applaud the spirit of the staff who shall go to any extent to ensure that the guests are happy and comfortable. There were plenty of such instances. I would blindly recommend this property to anyone and would definitely come back to this property for this amazing experience. Thank you Taj!

no words to describe. it is such a heritage n beautiful property, surrounded by arabian sea .three beautiful n relaxing days spent at the property. the sunset cruise was such a beautiful experience, esp being a kochiiet. though we live in kochi , we don't get time to enjoy this beautiful experience. coming next to the room. we were given a corner room with beautiful view n we can just sit there n see the harbour activities.😍😍.room was spic n span. the Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Kochi manager mr sunil panicker , is such a great host n made us feel so comfortable through out the stay. no words to describe his friendly n helpful nature. he personally came and handed over the room to us. i was coordinating with him right from the moment i booked this property. so was the restaurant team. mr jitesh n mr sojan .very very friendly. my mother and son had a lovely time here. mr sojan also gave my son some swimming tips. the icing in the cake was that we could catch a glimpse of our prime minister. over all had an amazing time n would love to bring more family members here. leaving here wth a heart full of joy n memories.😍

The heritage wing is not updated with modern amenities, i would recommend Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Kochi to change the 'shower panel' it is quite a decade old, please try to change to rain shower caps, these existing showers are not comfortable at all. Location of the property is beautiful. There is no doubt that one shall not fall in love with the view. Room cleaning was to the mark. I did see small cockroach in the 'pepper restaurant' but its a huge property and that's meant to happen. . Sundays are really crowded at the breakfast area, around 9am everything gets empty, less staffed so even the staffs are confused who ordered what. Food variety and mattancherry drinks have a good menu to offer. The lobby is a very beautiful place to spend some time. If wish to roam like localities the island jetty is a km away. Ola, uber, private taxis easily available. Travel desk satish guided us very well, a call out to him. Birthday arrangements are taken utmost care with. They have speed boat for drop to other islands.

A relatively small property that is well maintained and has awesome views. It has a naturally gifted advantage of dolphin spotting. But apart from the natural advantage of the location, the service at offer is remarkable. From the reception desk to the food department to the cleaning, all are polite, helpful and always looking for our comfort. Special mention to the duty manager ashok who was constantly checking on what we wanted and he could assist with to improve our stay. Loved the arrangements for food on all days. The main reason to choose a taj during this pandemic period was to be sure of the higher safety standards and hygiene along with the hospitality on offer. And taj malabar did not disappoint. We got a free upgrade for our 3 day stay to a sea and sunset view rooms and boy was it awesome. With the mm t offer we had advantage to keep our expenses in check. For anyone planning for a visit here, i will definitely recommend the sea view rooms at a higher floor. Hope to visit the property again

Had a wonderful experience staying at Taj Malabar resort and Spa, Wellingdon Island , Kochi .Starting from Security to Reception, Beakfast, Complimentary boat ride, Snacks and tea with a cultural programme,Everything is so well organised to make the guests have a good time during their stay. Highly Appreciate the efforts of Mr Ashok who gifted us with packets of spices on both the days. Margina, Shabnam and all the staff of Boat and the restaurant are too good. Special Thanks to Mr Srijit who conducted Yoga sessions for all of us. It was really very helpful . The Ambience is marvellous, beside the port. Life time experience. Taj malabar cochin is simply mesmerizing. Its located on an island away from the main city and surrounded by backwaters. The location is simply majestic. Everything about the Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Kochi exudes luxury in true sense of the word. In terms of overall ambience and hospitality, the Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Kochi is off the charts. There are complimentary boat rides every every evening, performances during lunch and dinner and many other activities. The spa and pool are world class too. I had a memorable stay here and hopefully, i can come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at taj malabar this may! the staff were extremely courteous and ensure that everything we needed to make our stay memorable was adhered to. The executive suite was well appointed and maintained very well! the breakfast buffet while limited was delicious. A special thanks to the operations manager, the front desk employees, the car valets as well as the chefs, staff at pepper and the in room dining. We enjoyed the sunset cruise in the houseboat. Overall we had a great experience. Thank you team taj malabar!

Good old property. On willing-don island near cochin port. Nice view of the sea, port and sunset. Nothing much to do but can relax spend family time, read books etc food options are limited but good. Breakfast spread is limited but manageable thought most of the dishes are repeated daily. Overall good property for 2n/3d beyond this you will get bored. Team is professional and offer excellent service. Mr. Mathew the gm of the property is forthcoming and very caring & co-operative. Mr. Satheesh kumar duty manager was very helpful.

One of the most beautiful location to stay in kochi. Needless to say about the class of services and food taj has to offer. Complementary boating was good experience. Stayed in one of the top floor room with sun set view, large glass window overlooking arabia sea. Martin netto's live performance added colours to the fine dining experience.

We enjoyed our stay at taj malabar suite. Ambience and food was top notch. Evening hi tea with cultural dance and boat ride to showcase all famous kochi points were marvellous. Thanks to all polite staff members to taking care of all our requirements.
