Taj Swarna, Amritsar

I stayed here just 3 days back for celebrating my son’s birthday . I had mixed experience with some good and some mediocre things at property, let me share my views on that. Good things first.😊 They have courteous and helping staff with smiles. They gave us a pleasant surprise by cake and decorating room nicely for celebration. Morning breakfast was awesome, delicious and rich. Mediocre things I found that property was not up to the mark in maintenance as in the Name of Taj. As we entered the room,some short circuit happened there was no electricity for some time. And there was continuous alarm sound. We informed the staff, they got repairing staff for fixing it. We requested to change the room and we had to change the room. Previous room was with pool view but the later room was too bad in the outer view(broken wall and closed dirty balcony) Then the pool was so small it was not like a five star Taj Swarna, Amritsar’s pool. Overall it was nice but they need to bring some new zing to property and till the time they should charge less.

The property is located at a good location. The general area is clean. The check in was smooth, the room quality is good however the service was a little lacking given the standard of hospitality that the taj Taj Swarna, Amritsars are famous for. I was traveling with a toddler, 3 months plus age. To get the room service to answer i had to make a minimum of 2 to 3 calls each time. The in room dining didn't pick up initially and then kept me on hold for a long time. They then told me they would call back and didn't do so. Apart from that it's absolutely perfect on the hygiene aspect and on the quality of the rooms. The food was amazing. The security personnel at the entry were very warm. If only the people answering the guest service calls and the in room dining could match their warmth this would be the ideal place to stay

We planned the vacation on diwali day and hope the festival will be full of excitement and energy, however the same was missing and it was quite a dull affair in the Taj Swarna, Amritsar. We visited other taj properties in the past on diwali day and we felt it was worth leaving our home and be a part of taj hospitality. Taj amritsar needs to pull their socks for breakfast services which during peak hours were chaotic. Housekeeping also needs to be taj standards. The staff was excellent and caring otherwise and i did celebrate my birthday and the senior staff were part of my celebration and made me feel great. The cake made my taj was top of the line. We are die hard taj clients and we are always happy to stay leave aside the small details which can be improved.

Our friends group saved money for 3 months and planned this 1 day stay at taj to experience luxury and taj didn’t disappoint us ! we don’t do much exercise but seeing gym of taj we felt exercise is best medicine so we did some push ups there ! food was great and staff was so polite that even after seeing us confused with names of such fancy dishes they explained what that is and even serve us at tables with smile ! staff is great ! location was also amazing and we felt like there are only 20 people per sq km and so much of greenery ! room service was great and they didn’t charge us for ice cubes bucket we asked on menu ! it’s experience we will always remember here from our 2 bhk !

Taj is india's premium chain so expectation level is always more. To be honest we were around 10% less satisfied than what was expected with dinner buffet being cancel-led to very limited menu we had to choose from and staff being less cooperative to allow something out of that limited menu. Service being slow. Too any calls around 11 to push us for check out. It would have been better if things were done in a more courteous manner as is expected from taj. The room quality food quality and hospitality in other ways was good enough as is always the case with taj group.

Happy to stay here. As usual, taj stands by its promise of unmatched service and top both hygiene. The team was sweet enough to offer us a room decoration and a cake. The breakfast buffet was a huge spread and of-course very tasty. We even had our dinner here and i must say it was again very yummy. The pool and gym amenities are pretty cool. It's a small property unlike other taj Taj Swarna, Amritsars but they have maintained it pretty well. Highly recommend

From accommodating early checkin in a jiffy, to the smallest requests, they took care of everything. From their recommendations to their hospitality it was just amazing. I would especially recommend their restaurant the chinese room and their dumplings. Harpreet took special care of us and our dietary restrictions. I really like the whole property the pool was so good and the rooms so comfortable. Must visit if you’re going to amritsar.

The stay was fantastic starting with welcome drink till room amenities and dinner followed by next day breakfast buffet. Best part was hospitality by Mr Sikander at our service . He knows his job very well and win our heart by his warm hospitality. He tried to get us best of food options. Although Dinner was ala- carte ,,,,, which was little disappointing. Otherwise overall best Hotel in Amritsar.!!

Overall it was a great stay the room and the service was very good. H will not be disappointed by the hospitality.

Food hospitality rooms everything excellent. The staff is really soft spoken, cleanliness on point

It was a very short stay. Checked in late evening and checked out next day after breakfast. Despite a very short stint, the experience was truly golden. Right from bright and vibrant decor and ambience, the great hospitality of staff, authentic punjabi food, super comfy rooms. Couldn't have asked for more. .

We had a very conduits stay at taj swarna, amritsar. Ambience was excellent. The stay were very warm and welcoming. They were helpful at all times. The meals at the restaurants were tasty and sumptuous too. We carry very plant memories of our stay at the taj in amritsar.

Stay was good , food was as expected from the Taj…staff was very cordial and kid friendly… Room service was also good

It was a great stay. Beautiful room and excellent service. The food and drinks in the chinese room were commendable. Looking forward to visiting again.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at taj swarna. The service is good. If they can include few kids book in the play area, it will be highly appreciated. Chef ajay, manoranjan, jasbir and balkirat were very hospitable. Truly appreciated & would love to be back soon.

The booking was for my parents. They enjoyed the stay. The Taj Swarna, Amritsar staff as usual was courteous and prompt.

Taj is known for quality and they lived up to their reputation. Best known for their hospitality. We stayed for one day but we feel like going back again and stay again.
