Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur

We stayed for 2 nights and from the arrival till checkout every moment was something to remember. The palace it self is so grand and intricately designed that the moment one enters into the main hall, it takes you in awe with breathtaking ceiling and the overall environment and music. A special mention for malvika at the guest reservation and service desk who took absolute care of our very deli-gently and was always once step ahead in understanding our needs and pampering us. Palace host some of really nice musicians to entertain guest. And we also liked the idea of old staff working alongside new staff at the palace which gives the overall experience an old charm with a touch of modernity. Badminton court needs a lot of improvement. Also a little disappointed to find only 2 beer options in the menu. Cocktails we tried were rather okaish. Therefore would suggest improvement in that. Also hi-tea experience was pretty average as per the palace's standard. Only biscuits were served which tasted very average. Food experience was nice dosa, rajasthani, indian, kachoris, sweets were to the mark.

Opulence. Courteous staff. Best of the best. Saddiqui ji, such a senior person was all for us all the time. His courteous nature and elegant oratorial skills were commendable. He truly upheld the royalty standards. Narendra ji was very very helpful in our special peacock experience and gave best food suggestions and bhupindar ji helped in planning a sweet and last min surprise for spouse with great ease and effort. Such-eta was sweetest and all of then were true representatives of such a grand place. Amazing people. Beautiful place like nothing to compare with. Unfair to call it a Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. Its only and only a palace, nothing less. Such a sweet and on toe staff is not seen anywhere. Cleanliness is top notch. Check in should be allowed earlier than 2. Food was the best. Havent had such an authentic food anywhere specially when it came to each and every dish. Consistency is magic. Would love to come back again and again. Thank you umaid bhavan palace and staff

We stayed in Umaid Bhawan from 4th June - 7th June as heard so much about it. It's a pure luxury as its a beautiful palace converted into a Hotel by Taj Group. We want to Thank each & every staff member of the Hotel for making our stay so memorable & the best stay of my life. Were gladly welcomed by Dushyant - Piyush Jain & they upgraded us to Beautiful suite. Specially want to mention few names who made it the best Holiday of my life Kashmira, Karan rathore, Siddiqui g, Bhopal g, Tribhuwan g, Chanan g of poolside, Arjun Sabu, Manish, Virender & Hukum singh g & Mr Deepak ( chef ). Really sorry if forgetting some more people. Everything here is outstanding from food to pools, Gym. No doubt why it's rated No 1 property in the world. Thanks again to each & every staff member here. Will surely visit again & recommend to everyone

Being a jodhpuri this was in my bucket list and finally dream came true, from the moment i enter i felt like a king, everyone was so courteous and helpful. They helped me during the checkout process they even provided me a free upgrade as it was was my anniversary. Staff members have me a card and also decorated my room, complimentary cake was given. Lunch dinner and breakfast was awesome. In one word it was the best experience of my life

This palace is the mother of all palaces in India. The moment you walk in you know that there LUXURY in every step of the way. One can wonder if there is heaven on earth it is here. Everything is so luxurious that you can save all your life's saving to spend one night here. Its just amazing and its worth every sacrifice you make just so that you are able to afford one night stay at this magnificent Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur.

The experience here went beyond the physical entities, I. E The Palace, The Landscape, The Staff, The Food, The Hospitality. Etc. Staying here was beyond all of this. There was some feeling happening Deep in there which was 'IMMEASURABLE '. The Kingly feeling, The Homely Feeling. And many more. I'm deeply in love with this place and all others whole played role in making this IMMEASURABLE memory to us. Highly Recommended. :-)

The interior was **** good ... Their facilities ... Their treatment were amazing .. At last but not the least the hospitality was the best I have been to many Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpurs around the world but the best staff were the best some of them were: jabar, sandeep, jem, Sumer, Ashutosh, Namita, Rishab, Surendra, Arjun the life guard they all made our trip one of the best

I love traveling and love to live in heritage properties, but should say this is the best property ever visited, beauty at its best. Everything royal and luxorious. The best part is the hospitality, very courteous staff makes you feel like maharaja. I loved it. Planning for my next visit. It deserves the No.1 title. Should visit atleast once in lifetime.

The cutlery in the room was sealed, so that not everyone can touch them, it's just the guests who wanna use them could tear open the seal and use them. This is the most important point of contact where hygiene plays. Kudos for this kind of cleanliness.

If I could see nice view from the bathroom, it was better. Window was not opened.

I'm actually speechless. Taj umaid bhawan palace is the best i've stayed in india. Each and everything was just spectacular. Words are less to describe this property.

I stayed here for 3 nights and had a ball of a time. Super luxury, vibes are always high in every corner of the Palace, great indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Amazing collection of vintage cars. Food was the only low point. Taste wasn't good.

The buffet spread was normal but would love to see more options in the food option. The food menu should also provide more vegetable variety options. Rest loved the way the staff provided us with food as per our taste requirements.

As expected, taj umaid palace was nothing less than a royal experience. Great ambience, courteous staff and world classs services
