Tampara Resort

During our road trip from Bangalore to Rourkela, We have an overnight stay at Tampara. After booking, I call the property to prepare dinner and keep it in our room as we are reaching late after restaurant closing time. While we reach it is little dark but check in is smooth. We been to our room, all items like TV, freeze, AC, kettle, gyeser are there and food is already kept there with silver foil packaging. We freshen up and have food. The food tatses awesome. We order Fish curry, Tawa fish fry, Rice, Dal, everything taste good. Even though there is frequent power cuts due to rain but still they have dg to keep power running all overnight. Morning we have our free breakfast which is included. They don't have widespread I will say but items atleast to cover your appetite. We wish we have stayed more days but we have to continue our journey. Lastly I will thank Tampara for making our stay memorable.

Food was good. Room service was prompt . At my time of visit occupancy was low,but hospitality was good . A little decoration around the swimming pool will add more beauty to the property .overall satisfied.

They charged me for a 4x3 cm of stain due which is usually non chargeable under stain policies, but they asked me to pay unofficially which is terrible

Tampara resort stay was amazing, nature feeling, staff was excellent, room was great , beating facility in near by lake and children park just side of resort has game zone and amazing fast food. Overall amazing experience with family.

Its a very nice resort with good rooms, facilities, food. All the staff ate well behaved polite & ready to help. we would surely go back to this place.

Nice property in this budget but service is not up to standard.very late service.However staffs are cooperative.swimming pool and swimming pool view rooms were good

It was good experience I enjoyed a lot.

A cosy property with cordial staff, approachable location. Special word for food, starting from preparation, service with a smile of ample portions. Only thing & very important one is that, thoigh two lake facing rooms were assured by the website booking, non of the rooms had any view of lake & were in the ground floor having no view of sky even. This issue may please be sorted out as my experience with other bookings are quite disappointing.

The location is good and easily accessible. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are perfectly cleaned. but there is nothing much to do there. No water sports and activities are available except boating. the day we went there, boating was also closed. The room says Lake View.. but the lake will not be visible from both ground and top floor if you want to go there just to relax then it is a good place.. As Gopalpur beach does not have many good places to stay, this can be a better option as gopalpur beach is not that far

Clean and neat premise which is easily accessible. Reasonable prices and courteous staff. Very close to Chatarpur town.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. The room was clean and all the fittings were in working condition. However in the toilet the pipe connected at the outlet of the basin was pouring water on the floor. This could be rectified. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed all our meals. The staff were very helpful. The place is very close to Tampara lake and easily accessible from Chhatrapur station by auto.
