It's like hidden gem in coonoor. This is not a Teanest | Rooms & Restaurant but luxurious homestay. Little bit far from city centre but nice location for nature lovers nestled between tea gardens and that's the name of this property tea nest. You will not need to go to any other sight seeing if you stay here as whole surrounding atmosphere is so good. Food is good and tasty but prior ordering is required. Complimentary breakfast is very good with variety. Only few rooms are available in this homestay. But all is good. Reception and all staff are very cooperative. Rohan is very much supportive for any help required. Lemon room, green room, golden tips room, silver tips room & chamomile room are in main building. Lemon grass room and rose marry rooms are a little away from main reception building. Tea plantations visit and bird watching visit is arranged by tea nest. Away from city centre so this place is good place for relaxing in calm for nature lovers. You will not find any shops or other restaurants nearby to this place.

The property is well located and is a short distance from the town. It is self-sufficient and has a kitchen running throughout the day. The rooms were comfortable, neat and sufficient in size. The breakfast spread was good and even the a-la-carte items that we ordered during other meals, tasted good. The rooms named lemon, green, silver tip and golden tip are together in one villa. These rooms are also at the same level as the reception and have a lounge area attached. Rooms named lemongrass and hibiscus are on the same campus but are at a lower level with a lawn attached. There are steps to reach these rooms. The other two rooms, which are on the annexe are separate property itself. They have a separate kitchen and reception in annexe. There is no caddy or transport available to ferry between the annexe and main property. Hence, if you are travel-ling with a group and require multiple rooms, then you will have to plan accordingly.

This is a very beautiful place to enjoy your time off and have some personal space. there is a small lawn in front of the building which has an excellent view of the valley down below and the hairpin curves of the Nilgiris, although you have to be lucky to see it because it is covered in fog most of the times. We got to see it at night when the fog lifted a little. Everything was neat and tidy. The staff were very courteous and proactive in getting us everything we needed. The food is excellent as well .There are no restaurants nearby, so you will have to make do with the food available at the stay. You will have to notify the staff in prior regarding your food requirements, which they make it easier as they proactively ask you for it. The roads that lead to the place are in good condition. Be mindful that there are big buses that go through the rather small roads.

Hotel staff is very polite and caring as they followed up before arrival to ensure for any help&support and food preparation, the property has excellent welcoming area and extremely well maintained cleanliness overall on property. Theres hundreds of picturesque flaura and fauna in the property, well organized nature walk, excellent food test. And very happy vibes through the place. The dining cabin of the Teanest | Rooms & Restaurant is one of the most beautiful place with 360 view and decor e inside feels unique and comfortable and on the top of the we got all the food excellent testing food on time. The service is quick and hasselfree, the rooms has house like warm feel and hot water was available all the time, on the property never feels overcrowded and just perfect to freely explore all the corners.

We stayed in lemongrass room, it has nice views of tea plantations. Resort is easily approachable by road and situated at very scenic location with excellent views of valleys and mountains. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Service was quick and staff were polite and helpful. They have a beautiful garden which gives very peaceful vibes and we spent lot of our time in the garden. Tea estate walk was enjoyable. They have beautiful restaurant but it may feel crowded if there are more than 8-10 people. Food was ok, i think they should add dew more local options on the menu. They also have some board games and dart board, but i think they can add few indoor games for family entertainment. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience to stay at teanest.

Excellent hospitality offered by all during my 2 nights' stay. We were welcomed by mr. Rajni, who was always so helpful. Staff comprising prakash, manu, rahul, & david were prompt and polite. Property is quiet and peaceful, and well equipped with amenities like 24 hours hot water, wifi & clean rooms. Ceiling fans were not available in the room, & the same is not required due to cool weather. Table fan & heater is available on request basis. Food offered at 'earl grey' restaurant was sumptuous. Kindly honor the staff's request to place order well in advance to get fresh, hot meals at your desired time. There were a number of indoor games in the lobby. Overall, a great place to relax.

If u r looking for a scenic stay away from the hustle of market place, this is the best. We booked 2 rooms in tea-nest - chamomile and jasmine(requires to use one flight of stairs. Both rooms are very spacious and great for family time. We were provided heaters too on request at no charge. And we had one room in tea-nest annexxe, which is about 1km away (luckily we had a car. Our room here called rosemary was again very spacious and cozy. But most important r the views. Annex e itself is like a great viewpoint with its mesmerizing views. We just had breakfast here which was good. Would recommend annex e strongly for couples with its honeymoon vibe.

Our experience with tea-nest was beyond our expectations. I started getting msgs regarding lunch requirement before checkin. Pure checkin service was not expected but mr. Rajni was very courteous and caring. Property is so beautiful that when we reached there, we dropped our plan to visit any sightseeing points in Conoor and decided to enjoy there only. Views were amazing from the property. Staff member rahul was also very polite. Amazing services, awesome food and great property. I would like to visit again and will explore other properties of tea-nest as well. Highly recommended. Thank you tea-nest

All were good except water heater in bathroom. It was not working most of the times and there was no proper response from management. Please ensure the availability of hot water in bathroom 24 hours. It is essential in cold climates.

Super stay, great hospitality, the view from tea nest annexe was awesome, the food was tasty and simple and i would suggest everyone to experience this great stay at the tea estate.

The place is located at a mesmerising location surrounded by lush green tea gardens from all side. The staff is extremely courteous and the food there is just amazing.

Ambience and excellent tea garden & natural surroundings. Food is tasty and service is good and staff are well mannered. Still there is a scope for improvemnet and dont expect five star treatment for a price of three star.

It was an experience to remember. The property is located right in the singara tea estate and has fabulous views. The food was fresh and made on demand. The staff was friendly and offered in-house tea tasting, tea garden tours and bird watching tours all of which was really good and made us wish we stayed a little longer. Do visit, if in coonoor.

Our stay was really amazing. Staff here made us very comfortable. We had asked them to prepare a candle light dinner for us but due to rain it could not happen. But manager nikhil & their staff arranged a candle light dinner for us on different place. Overall staff is very polite, attentive. Food here is very good too & top of it the view from property is mesmerising

As described, it is really a hidden gem located in a tea estate with a super nature view , As we wake up can hear and the bird chirping and flying. Nice breakfast with best service.
