Tea Valley Resort

Rooms (4/5) - sufficiently equipped with all the basic things one would need for a comfortable stay, featuring a large balcony with a great view of the kdhp tea valley. Don't expect a luxurious look and feel of the room though. Location (4/5) - this resort provides a great opportunity to first hand experience life within a tea plantation. It is located deep within a private valley, away from the city noises and crowds. The only downside to the location is a small stretch of damaged single lane road leading to the resort. Amenities (4/5) - the resort fashions some very unique common areas including a tree hut, terrace swimming pool, indoor playing area, etc. It provides sufficient space for recreational activites within the resort. Food (5/5) - this was the first highlight of our stay at this resort. They have an extensive breakfast and dinner menu, and everything we could try was delicious. Staff (5/5) - this is the second highlight of our stay here. The resort staff are extremely kind and attentive to their guests' needs. They are willing to help you with any reasonable requests or questions to make your vacation even more comfortable and enjoyable.

It was a pleasant stay in the tea valley resort with my family. The ambience and the rooms are excellent. The swimming pool and tree house are the top attractions. There was a nice place for a campfire. The food is really tasty. The only drawback is the location of the resort which is 11 km from munnar. It will take 40 minutes to reach. The way to the resort is very bad only one car can pass through only experienced drivers can drive this way. Bracknell forest resort the name itself suggests it was located inside the forest area. Nearly 10 km away from munnar. Which was a thrilling experience. The forest view from the room is breathtaking. The staff here are very friendly which is why this restaurant is top-rated. For food, u have to tell them 2 hours in advance because they will prepare it fresh for you. If u are going to resorts away from town carry some emergency medicines with you.

Beautiful location, bang in the middle of a tea plantation and away from the hustle bustle of the market area. Perfect for those who want to enjoy in quietude. Get used to clouds floating through the property. Most touristy locations are also just 20-30 min ride away. Exec cottage rooms are spacious with outdoor balconies overlooking the valley. Buffet spread was slightly limited, hence we stuck to room service for meals. Avoid if traveling with elders who have trouble walking - the only way to move to rooms and across the property is on foot and there are steep inclines. Staff was friendly and quick to respond. However, the room maintenance and upkeep could've been better. Nothing broken or dysfunctional but it certainly looked worn out and a facelift would do it good. Worth going back again

Pros: overall experience is very good. Though bit costly, foods was good. Swimming pool is available. Valley view from the balcony is excellent. Room was spacious enough. Staff members are kind. Wifi is available, though some connectivity issues. Other activities like trekking trail, camp fire, tree top adventure, and indoor games are also good. Cons: coffee and tea are very costly rs. 83 including taxes. Approaching road is bit risky for novice drivers. Even the experts must avoid driving in this road in dark. No lift. But it may be a problem only for elderly, others may actually enjoy walking through the steps as it is surrounded by greens. No other option for food nearby. You have to rely on the Tea Valley Resort restaurant.

It was a short stay for a night with my parents on their wedding anniversary. It was made memorable by the Tea Valley Resort staff with a special candle light dinner which they arranged on request in a top hut area. Absolutely beautiful decoration and very soothing. Also, helped me arrange a cake and room decoration. The staff and service was great. Breakfast was good. Dinner was average. Taste could be better. The view from room is mind blowing and certainly very peaceful. The only thing which i feel needs improvement is the room furniture and interiors. It feels the furniture is really old and room requires painting as it feels little old. Other than this, everything was good. The front desk was very polite and helpful.

View here is very nice when we reached it was heavily raining and we thought it wouldn’t be easy for us explore tourist place here but later when we start exploring the property we found out that there are so many veiw point inside the Tea Valley Resort itself and veiw from tree house here is amazing .Also requested some special chutney and the chef victor of top notch and the reception guy name Siddharth (don’t remember the name properly) was amazing in explaining thing .This would be my first stop again when I travel back to Munnar .Lovely veiw from Tea Valley Resort and stafff services are very great here

Resort located in perfect location, you are in tea estate where you can see entire tea estate in valley, during morning entire valley is filled up with fog and you can experience the fog moving towards the resort with light breeze, it's amazing to watch such a natural landscapes, valleys, with full of green scenic view from your balcony. Staff at Tea Valley Resort are gentlemen and hospitality is excellent. Food is manageable as there is no much choice. Stay was absolutely fine. Except the last 2km road towards resort is too narrow only experts can drive need to be careful while drive.

Tea valley resort is an excellent choice of stay in munnar. It is a budgeted property with good amenities, they have a lovely rooftop pool, a good restaurant, a bonfire and games area, and an abundance of nature within the property. Best part is that each room offers amazing views of pothamedu viewpoint and tea gardens that is unbeatable. The traditional, local food they serve is amazing, would recommend that over their other items. Would recommend them to suggest only their local dishes as others were so-so, and maybe just add sheds to all the balconies with a small table.

This place is very beautiful and excellent see-nick views from the place. We no need roam around munnar, we can stay in tea valley and enjoy the moments.

We had booked for 6 persons & room decor, food & other amenities are outstanding. Buffet breakfast was lovely

It will feel like an adventure and task to reach this place, but once you do it'll all be worth it. The resort itself has all the relaxing traits to it, from friendly staff to comfortable rooms to breathtaking views. They have a variety of food to choose from. There is no sound proofing in the rooms, you can hear others if they are being too loud and there is no exhaust in the washroom which can be problematic. Overall it was a great stay, would highly recommend this place in munnar !

The service, food and room everything was up to mark. It was worth staying here you will have the best view from your rooms

It is nice place, view is very nice from the resort, very good adventure consists, while going main road to resort good atmosphere appears, it is good view point in munnar

I recently stayed at this resort which is in the middle of the tea estates. The resort is amazing with an amazing room view. Hotel food and staff are good and cooperative. Not very far from munnar town but the resort but reaching resorts is a task as you need to drive through tea estates and roads are narrow. Highly recommended

Departure experience they need to improve and didn’t feel any special while checking out despite of reception not busy also continuous call to chcekout within an hour time

Excellent ambience, location, staff. Good food, rooms and amenities. Some rooms are very high to climb hard for elders and families having infants. People coming from bod i are recommended to take a long route through a government botanical garden. The route and roads are amazing. Don't go with google maps. The property is located amid-st tea estate so the way from road to property is a bit challenging for new drivers. However, the place is an excellent choice with the things they have to offer.

Located right on top of tea garden. Food is good and staff are polite and prompt. Some upgrade in rooms will be nice touch like refrigerator. Linen looked old. Over all good stay enjoyed the view from resort.

Location is great with best valley and tea estate view. Location is bit difficult to reach at night. Its around 2-2. 5 km from the main road. Food was good. Service and staff were very professional
