Tea Village Munnar by EGH

We visited Kerala during worst weather conditions. Everywhere flood, landsliding, road blocks and heavy rains. But as soon as we landed in Kochi, Tea Village Tea Village Munnar by EGH staff called us and gave proper directions to come to Hotel. So much consciousness towards customer. They never let us down in anything. Customer service was awesome. As soon as we got out of car, staff helped in getting luggage. Rooms were so clean, you feel warming freshness in the air. You may book any room in this Tea Village Munnar by EGH, the valley view is mesmerizing. You will never feel board. Room ambiance, furniture and every other aspect has been taken cared of. Room service - Just ask for anything and you will get it in fraction of second. Very prompt service. very very polite staff. Breakfast - Not less than 5 star breakfast. It was complimentary but what a taste. So much variety. Taste was awesome. Very much surprised with the breakfast. Dinner quality was by par good. Even though harsh weather conditions and state electricity damage, their was no power cut and 24 7 power and hot water available. Thank you so much Tea Village Munnar team. You never let us down in any aspect in our stay despite being very harsh weather, your very lovable hospitality and care. You made our trip so memorable. I will definitely visit again this Tea Village Munnar by EGH if I will come in Munnar in future. Thank you so much for everything.

The Tea Village Munnar by EGH is located at a hill top. The views from the Tea Village Munnar by EGH are worth remembering for ever. We had booked a suite room which had a jacuzzi. The helpful nature and the hospitality of the all staff melted our heart. There after we were just flattered looking at the views from the balcony of our room. Clouds, chirping of birds and the western ghats in the front makes one feel as in heaven. The room was quite big and bathroom was huge actually with 5 star facilities. The jacuzzi experience was also great as we felt it for the first time. The food needs a special mention which was authentic and awesome. They serve ala-carte meals for lunch and buffet dinner. The buffet had a decent spread but lacked the authentic touch. We had ordered fish wrapped in banana leaves and fried ice cream for lunch, the taste of which still lingers in our tongue. All staff always had a smile on their face and they also offered us to see kuchipudi show just near to the Tea Village Munnar by EGH. It was a lifetime experience. I would recommend this Tea Village Munnar by EGH for a cosy, romantic stay with some heavenly views which one would remember for life. Only cons is that the Tea Village Munnar by EGH is situated on a hill top it would be very difficult to reach without a vehicle of your own.

We wanted to stay little off the main Munnar Town. Thus, we were looking for a resort/Tea Village Munnar by EGH exactly like tea Village. The Tea Village Munnar by EGH is in beautiful location, probably 8-10 km from the main Town. The view was breathtaking and the morning sunrise. I have no words. Me and my wife, we just loved the place and our son felt like home or even more than that. The property is very beautiful and well maintained. The staff of the Tea Village Munnar by EGH were very friendly and caring. They tolerated our tantrums like anything with having any issues. They guided us like anything. In addition to that I asked for a small candle light dinner arrangement for me and my wife on the first day and later I forgot due to full day activities but they remembered and they made it so pure and simple. We were highly surprised and amazed. It's like cherry on the top. Also one of the most popular activity near Munnar Kalari Khetram is very close to the Tea Village Munnar by EGH. That's another advantage. Overall we completely recommend the Tea Village Munnar by EGH. Come. Stay. You will come again.

Lovely atmosphere with a great view of nature, room service is good. Premium room is good for just 2 people but if u have much more budget u can go for semi suites room its as good as nothing even there is 3 people there is so much spaces to accommodate, for family, couples, and frds to chill out semi suit room is perfect. The balcony is almost same for premium and semi suit, the main difference are bathrooms area and room. Before booking try to call the resort reception to know the rates and room availability. Food is good but little expensive but if your capable to go out and get food it would be a good. Room service are as good as any thing. Parking is available for upto 20 cars. This resort is 12 km away from munnar but this chithirapuram is the right place where u can get access to all locations nearby. The main problem is the approach road, but the vibe u get make me ignore it

Food is damn tasty and they do have varieties of food including Chinese, continental and even gulab jamun. Room service is quite cheap and very prompt. But the best part is the view. You would get a breathtaking view from your room itself. And last but not the least is the courteous staff who were very helpful. We hope to visit again.
It was one of the best resort I have visited so far and was complete value for money. First of all I need to add that in contradict to some of the reviews I have read they do have 24 hours hot water. Room service is very good and lot cheaper than other resorts of it was standard. But the best part is the view from the balcony. It was awesome. And to add they have varieties of food and they are really tasty. Lastly to add the rooms and bathroom were really clean.

The Tea Village Munnar by EGH was superbly located with a breathtaking view of the mountain with the mist rising through them. The room was much larger than we had anticipated and so was the bathroom. Pretty spacious i would add. The food was excellent and made with fresh ingredients and everything was served with a smile. They arranged for a jeep safari for us on request and it was worth every paise. Had been to munnar quite a few times but hadn't been to any of the beautiful places to that the safari took us to. The only thing to point out is that there was some amount of dust along the sides and on the fan leaves. Also the window panes along the restaurant could use a wash and dusting. In short, these guys provide so much bang for your buck that you will never regret it. Cheers

The location of the resort is around nine kilometres away from Munnar town so that there is no sound or air pollution. The resort is in a calm and quiet place with a 300 meter approach road from the main road. The design and ambience of the room and resort suites for couples and not for family. View from the balcony is beautiful. Staff are well experienced and helpful, especially the receptionist. Food is okay and not expensive. There is no other restaurants nearby so if you are not going elsewhere in the day time, you have to get food from there only. Room service is good. No unnecessary calls or disturbances. Adequate parking space is available.

The staff at the premises were very helpful and accommodating. They were patient with our requests. Abbas who is in charge is a fantastic individual to interact with, he was very kind and humble, very approachable. The other staffs were excellent too. Kudos to all for making us feel comfortable. Coming to the stay, cleanliness and room facilities, all were well maintained and adequate. I would always suggests to go for a room with a balcony, the view is brilliant in the morning, a perfect setting to have a hot cup of coffee. I would a 100 percent recommend a stay at Tea Village. Worth the money spent.

Delighted stay but very costly.

We had a very warm and pleasant stay at tea village Munnar.. Hospitality was extremely good... We had booked two premium rooms but got one room upgraded to semis suite room... Food was very tasty, rooms were spacious and clean..

One of the best stays in my entire trip. Location is little off road but if you want to experience winderness, this is the best place to stay. Rooms are clean and comfy with great valley view. I would recommend rooms on top floors for better view. Also try dinner and breakfast at Tea Village Munnar by EGH only as food was also tasty and is only viable option. Bathroom is too spacious with 3 separate sections. There's ample amount of space in room. Thumbs up from my side !

Sceneries very beautiful.

Although location was 13 km away from munnar bus stand. It was a great Tea Village Munnar by EGH, great interior in semi- suit room and nice view from room's balcony.

Not bad stay overall. The property itself could use some improvements and upgrades but was it the peaceful tea stay i was looking for - yes. Service was great.

Food of Tea Village Munnar by EGH was very good with very reasonable value. We have received complementary break fast. And we have taken boffet dinner which was actually good veg as well nveg. Suit rooms are very good. Room no 201 to 206 is having very beautiful view. They are having some system for hot water so you wont get the hot water continuously but still I enjoyed that and it is okay not that much bad. I attached some pics of view.

Great location, get a local cab guy to show you around Munnar. You save lots of time. Avoid top station during winter as you could hardly see the view due to fog.

Pros: Excellent mountain slope location with lovely views, amazing staff, great food and comfortable rooms. Cons: A few kms from town and other Tea Village Munnar by EGHs area with a short segment very bad roads. Nice hot shower but only 5 pm to 10 am. Also if you forget to leave keys with front desk no housekeeping.
