Great service, very hospitable staff. Neat & tidy rooms. I visited Chennai on medical grounds. The best thing was it is very near to the Apollo Cancer Speciality Hospital. I stayed there for 1 week. Sometimes, there may be cut down of electricity during night but within seconds the staff switch on the generator. Did not like- We checked in at 11 pm and the person in the reception told us that there was no one to carry our luggage to the room. We had to carry ourselves by the stairs as there was no lift. The TV room given to us did not have hindi channels. After 2 days I told them and they got the subscription done immediately. But again after 2 days the channels got blocked. I would just request them to arrange the Hindi TV Channels in all the rooms and to make food available. Another thing I did not like is that in one room of our floor some Male guests were drinking liquor with door open for two nights. Management kindly look into this, as this makes people feel insecure in an unknown place. Except these, everything was perfect, few staff members do not understand Hindi or English but then they bring along with them someone who would understand & speak Hindi. The room cleaning boy cleans the room in a very hygienic way. If you face any problem, any small issue, just let them know, they give their 100% to solve it. So in short they are giving a great service.

Although the room was small it is sufficient for two people. The room was really clean including washroom. Go at check in time only, if you go early they may charge you extra. It was really nice in this Thangam Balaji Guest House(1KM From US Consulate) and all the restaurants are near for making food orders. Highly recommend this for visa applicants and any random interviews persons. Thank you.

Location is near Hyatt where I had a conference. I think it is close to the US consulate as well. The managers are all well meaning polite old aged people. I think it is a safe place, though the approach to the entrance is very narrow and isolated. Good for bachelors, and for short stay. Economical, value for money for sure.

Hotel is located near to city centre. It is also very near to famous hospitals like Apollo and balaji hospital. Since this Thangam Balaji Guest House(1KM From US Consulate) was very near to our hospital we always stay in this location only. Ambience is good. Rooms are little bit small but OK for two person. Staff is also supportive.

Location is on the Mount road. Very easy to reach via public transport aka the bus. Room was neat and clean. Water facility is good. I never stayed full day in my room. Used it for sleeping and getting ready for work in the morning. Non AC room can get pretty hot due to the Chennai sun. Otherwise its perfect.

Value for money Thangam Balaji Guest House(1KM From US Consulate) at a Prime location. Makemytrip booking much cheaper. Highly recommended. TV was equipped with maximum paid channels possible. Hotel was clean. Geyser provided. Extra bed was provided at 200 Rs for 3rd person. Overall nice experience.

Best place to stay from the point of logistics

Room is little small and owner is so nice, the booking in MMT is so nice you make it so cheaper. Location is near to my destination and its very and clean. Its near to railway statíon too you can roam beach by station

The best thing about the Thangam Balaji Guest House(1KM From US Consulate) is it's location. Connected well with the metros, restaurants and other shops. It was ideal for me as I wasn't staying much in the room. Worth for the price.
