Thangzing House | Rooms in a Homestay

The facility as compared to the price is very very unfair. The room size was very small. No proper electricity facility after 11 in night till morning 6...we had to use our mobile torch light to use the washroom. we were assured that battery light will be provided in the bathroom at night but it wasn't working.. The room was very very cold..We were asked to pay extra for manual heater. Altogether the stay was not at all comfortable as expected for the price we paid. I paid this hefty amount as i expected a comfortable stay for my family including 2 kids.

Lovely experience. Nice room. Food was also really good. What stood out was the excellent hospitality provided by Kapil.

hotel is situated in Maan village on the pangong lake. just on the main road with view of pangong lake from the homestay rooms. food was good and the staff helpfull.

Service and Food was not good. Asked to Checkout before the time. although a good stay but service can be better.

The room was spacious and cozy. Food was excellent with lots of options. The view of Pangong Tso is awesome.

It was very safe, memorable and unforgettable stay. Just a home away from home. Must visit of you travel to pangong.

Nice and hygienic rooms, good food and friendly staff

The hotel offers a decent location, though it may not be the most central. The food is satisfactory, providing a variety of options that are pleasant but not outstanding. Service is competent, with staff who are helpful and professional. While it may not be exceptional in any single aspect, it delivers a solid and reliable experience.

The room was not much clean. And the facilities were very limited. Considering the high amount we paid (rs 5400 for one day, we did not expect such low level of experience. The only good thing was the home made breakfast and dinner made by the chef.

The room had no ventilation. Was far from lake ( which was not in the description given on the mmt ) no hot water. Dinner was ok but breakfast had nothing good to offer( poha was smelly, not so good paranthas ) also they charged 50 for single bottle of water.

Good food. Staff was courteous. The dining area was unexpectedly good. With tv and a keyboard to play, books to read. The location is quite far from the lake not walkable

The property offers a beautiful view of the pangong lake. Stargazing is beautiful from this place and the food is very tasty and freshly cooked.

Thangzing House offered a decent stay even at the remote, inhospitable Pangong lake. The upkeep, food and services were great, notwithstanding minor faults with construction quality. With additional rooms under construction on the first floor, this property can become much sought after for larger groups.

The look of the property seemed shabby. But location wise it provided a fantastic view of the lake from the room. It's a 5 min walk from the stay to the water bed and they warmly welcomed us with prompt service. Food was quite good considering the altitude.

this property was very very bad… almost like ghost house.. deserted monastery… after calling out thrice two boys came out from somewhere! And imagine the tariff .
