The Amaya Resort Kolkata NH6

I went with my family, and i am greatly satisfied with the entire stay. I highly recommend this place. Ms. Rem i at the checkin counter is very warm and hospitable. She made sure to keep everything ready, and explained all facilities and amenities very clearly, with timings and other policies. The room dining and service is also very good, and swift. The quality of the food is also good. They also have many options for children. Even during breakfast, there is good variety of food, mostly vegetarian, and the service is good. During our checkout day, ms. Sunanda checked on us during breakfast, and took good care. The best part of the resort is the great list of facilities and activities. The pool is greatly amazing, and spa, activity room with free carrom, ludo, fuss ball, etc is also very good. We also did the kayak, and boating, and appreciate the experience. Coming to the room, we took a garden room, so the kid can have direct access to garden from the room, and it was very good. The rooms 1014 - 1022 are perfect for having a garden access from your room. The best room is 1017, the kids pool is right opposite these garden rooms. You can also enjoy your own smokes, shisha and drinks. Highly recommended. Cons - poor wifi, slow buggy / golf cart during rains (which is acceptable)

Amaya resort, a short drive from kolkata, is beautifully made and very well maintained. Room size was great, the pool access feature was superb and it added fun to our stay. Resort landscaping was artistic, making walk or cycling around very pleasant. Plethora of both indoor and outdoor game options - specially the indoor game house was very well kept. Dining area was good, food was excellent and staff was very friendly and courteous. Safety protocols were followed - such as sanitization at most places, temperature check on entry etc. It's highly recommended for travellers wanting to unwind for a day or two as it's just an hr drive from kolkata city centre.

The resort is too good for group to go as it is very long spread with various exciting games like cricket badminton games room atv archery cycling gymnasium boating kayaking and various other games and there is a beautiful temple. The cleanliness and ambience was great. The resort is attached to nature with beautiful garden and trees and a swimming pool. The food is excellent and the location is best as sher-e punjab is situated near to it and over all it was all good to have a perfect stay with group. The service is very fast as we got the rooms quickly.

The experience with amaya was really good. The quality of the foods served at the restaurant was very nice. I would recommend this place to my friends, great resort for spending weekends. Only thing i would suggest for improvement is the wifi connectivity inside the The Amaya Resort Kolkata NH6 room. Overall it was a pleasant stay over the weekend. Amaya resort was excellent for weekend staycation and would love to visit again and will definitely make our bookings through makemytrip

The stay was nice rooms were comfortable as usual didnt faced any issue. But the amaya’s food quality is not great but their prices are at par with 5 star The Amaya Resort Kolkata NH6s which is a little disappointing hope they will work on it. And one more thing in our previous stays with the resort we got complimentary blue pine package water but disappointingly this time they were offering kingfisher which is a massive degradation in amenity

The rooms were clean and the staff wad very courteous. The food was nice and the amenities were well maintained whether it be the pool, wifi, room service, parking etc. The activity for the kids were good and kept them engaged. Would like to suggest to the management that the resort should have a pharmacy for basic illnesses like fever, cold, cough etc and the gym should open early instead of 9 am onwards.

The property is highly priced, starting from water bottles to food and other services but it makes sense when you need to maintain such a big and beautiful property. The room, corridor etc was very neat and clean with friendly staffs. Loved few of the food items and few required improvement (life chicken pakoda. Overall it is a good weekend stay if you have money in your pocket.

Burnout with work. I and my wife were just looking for a no thrills no frills weekend getaway escape. And Amaya pleasantly surprised us as it surpassed all our expectations in terms of cleanliness. Food. Hospitality. One suggestion they don't have a cradle/for infants. If you are planning a trip with an infant then make arrangements accordingly.

The stay was good and The ambiance was nice. The food cost was high as compared to other such resorts. Staff were also helpful.

Restaurant capacity is too small as compared to accommodation offered by the resort.

The rooms and facilities were pretty impressive i read a few reviews about the quality of food but we found the food to be very delicious yes a tad bit expensive but again u can't complain about it

Good property. Well maintain. Clean and safe. Staffs are also good. Food is excellent but little bit costly.

The resort is nice, big and well maintained. The usp of their resort can easily be the poolside rooms, beautiful enough to enjoy your stay. Food quality is not good at all. All the foods are unnecessarily expensive. Overall it was a memorable stay there.

Everything was just perfect - the beautiful ambiance, delivious food, spacious room, huge swimming pool - to top it off is the congenial behavior of the staff. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, am planning to visit again.

A very good experience for our one night stay. The behaviour of all the staffs, the quality of the food and the entire ambience of the resort is very refreshing. Will definitely recommend for a one night stay at this resort

Resort is very nice. But service is quite slow. You will have to ask multiple times for any house keeping work.

Perfect weekend family destination

Best part of this property is that it is very close to kolkata. It is well maintained and we had a good time here.
