The homestay location is perfect for those who want to stay really really close to park street; it's just above flurys. It's a bit hard to find the location at first, but if you can reach flurys, then it won't be difficult. Coming to rooms- we have an infant, so we requested for a bit bigger room and they complied. It had it's own kitchen and hall, although we would have preferred a bit cleaner kitchen. There is a small ventilation issue, which can lead to some smell, but they can manage it. It's not a super fancy room, but it has almost everything you need- good wifi, fridge, enough storage area, even netflix on tv. Coming to staffs- tarak da was super helpful. We could always reach him over telephone and he would be ready to help us. Some small glitches will always be there when you travel; despite those small issues, everything was good.

It was really a very nice experience staying at aster. Will give it 10 out of 10 for location(as being right on the park street, convenience and hospitality. Although, decors are a bit old. Caretakers were prompt in getting the ordered food and drinks in the room. I was in kolkata to sort out a personal matter and i could not afford to worry about accommodation. I landed at the airport, found aster heritage, booked it and l haven’t had to worry about my stay since. The room and the washroom was clean, large and comfortable. The owner was cordial and very helpful. It is extremely well located for any means of public transport - be it a bus, a cab, or the metro. I was able to go about my business and be back in the room at late hours and not worry about my safety. That has been a blessing. Thank you divya and family for the hospitality.

Overall stay was above expectations. The host and caretakers were awesome. The property location is biggest attraction. It’s bang on park street and above flury’s. However being a heritage building, safety i felt of the building is some what not 100. Later i came to know about the major fire mishap happened in 2010 in the same building (the worst in kolkata history. But anyways the owner has been extremely cooperative and has taken measures at her end. Whatever best she could do, she has done. Overall an excellent experience.

The place was amazing, with a visitors area, a dining hall, beautiful furniture. Our room was large, clean, comfortable with ac and fan and a clean bathroom. Staff were helpful, always. The host is a fantastic person-divya. And she helped me with any information i needed. Where to go, what to do and how to travel. Plenty of places to party, in the area. Restaurants too ! special mention of the ever smiling gurnoor for all her help and sunny disposition. Cheers !

It's a safe and hygienic place, i liked the room and also the staff's behaviour is good, though it's a guest house so you might find it different from other The Aster Heritage Homestay | Rooms & Caretakers, also the entrance of building can also be odd, as its a bit inside, but rooms are good, the bathroom is also good, when we entered the The Aster Heritage Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker they greeted with ice tea and it was nice, i really recommend you to go.

We had a good stay at this place. It's exactly in the middle of park street, so things are at your disposal within 2 mins of a walk. We just had breakfast at the place during our stay which is below average, but their service is good. We however were a little bothered by the time we were asked to change rooms during our stay or to pay them directly than using mmt. But all worked out in the end. The place is great if you are trying to explore kolkata.

The homestay is at an amazing location and with good cozy rooms. The staff is courteous and always ready to guide and help. Definitely staying here the next visit to city

Heritage looks in prime location in Kolkata

It was very pleasant, location is also prime, just in the middle of park street, little walk away from metro station. Nightlife is amazing here. Great to stay if you're coming to kolkata as a couple.

It was a good experience with hospitality. Since the rooms that don't receive natural lights are quite dark, the lights could be improved by replacing some of the warm lights with some neutral tone lights. Thank you

It was my first stay here and all the right boxes were ticked. The location was right in the heart of park street and is very easy to find. The rooms were perfect for a weekend getaway. The host, divya maam, greeted us at the start and made the checkin process a breeze. The caretaker was also very cooperative. In all it was a great experience and i am looking forward to more experiences there.

The homestay was excellent. All the rooms was totally fresh and in good condition. The caretakers behaviour was very good. I just love it.
