The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore

Its a very nice cozy The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and feels luxurious. I also got a free room upgrade which was the cherry on cake. Last but not the least was the restaurant loft where the breakfast buffet is served. I must say all the food items were very tasty and i enjoyed south indian and continental in the breakfast spread. There is live music at dinner time and the restaurant is well decorated and cozy. Must not miss the hot chocolate here (the best i had had yet)

Are you not aware that i couldn’t check at aurika lemon tree as the The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore is in maintenance. You had not informed me about it and had to wait for you to get alternative accommodation, which has incurred me loss due to difference in The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore rates. Since i had paid the full amount i didn’t expect any problem,

This was our second visit to the property in Mangalore. No complaints about the room or the amenities. just that their room service was slow, no shower gel refilled and the morning breakfast was bad (not sure if their chef changed or their existing one was having a bad day). They can definitely get better if these small things are taken care of.

Centrally located. Good food at the loft. Some of the dishes had local names of locations and towns which was quaint, clean, comfortable and friendly staff. The cafe and the ambience was interesting with local talent showcasing their talent and that was kind of unique and interesting!

Great rooms and amenities. Staff is good. Lunch was good, but breakfast was really not great. Pooris were dripping with oil. No chef came and spoke despite showing the restaurant staff the pooris with extra oil. Restaurant staff was polite and helpful. Overall a good stay.

Location is good in premium location. Room is very clean, spacious and comfortable. Food is good but it is limited and they don’t serve buffet breakfast.

Good - location was easily accessible, breakfast and room service was good. Bad - washroom was always smelly due to no exhaust and bed was too soft causing back pain
