The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore

We stayed for 3n/4d in the gallery studio room. Location: close to the city railway station, the ksrtc bus stop is around 10 minutes away. If you are traveling with less luggage, highly recommend to use local autorickshaw for travel. Room: the room was nice and clean, all amenities were as described. Ac was a big help as the weather was very hot n humid. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful. Mini bar rates were also reasonable. Food: our package included breakfast buffet, which had good choices. The live counter for dosa/omlette was also quick to provide the ordered items. Lunch and dinner was also good at the in-house restaurant - the loft. Fyi, the last order is at 11 pm (including for room service) so if you get the latest night munchies, better stock up on snacks. They have a nice cafe on the ground floor that serves pastries and croissants. There is also a smart bazaar next to the property. We went to mangalore to attend a wedding. The The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore staff was very helpful with info and also allowed my wife's stylist to come over before the wedding so she could get ready in the comfort of the room. The room also has a small gallery where smoking is allowed, so you don't have to go down to the smoking zone every time you want to smoke.

1. Location is in the centre of the city, superb location, milagros church is nearby. There is also an auto stand nearby, 400 m from The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore 2. Hotel is right on top of reliance smart bazaar so very convenient of you forget your toiletries / essentials. 3. Hotel service is fantastic, staff is helpful and very prompt room service 4. Rooms are well spaced, renovated so aesthetic wise its great 5. Washrooms are small in size but well designed to utilize the space 6. Their front desk area is far better than a 5 star, made it in a very cozy manner with seating space and lots of books to read. 7. Must must value adding point - food at their loft restaurant. I have travel-led and stayed at many places, and i absolutely loved the food quality at this restaurant. The breakfast buffet is well thought of with mix of indian and continental, both veg and non veg options. The quality of food is too good, inf-act i was surprised to see north indian food as well cooked amazingly thus, after trying their breakfast options, we dined in for other meals also, and its worth the money. *the only con that i feel is the window view, though it depends on the room you choose but ac is sufficient to keep the room ventilated

We had a good stay here. Hotel is clean, has all the required amenities. Whenever we called the reception for another bottle of water or a hairdryer, their response was extremely prompt! the cleaning/housekeeping was adequate. Best part was we had an early morning checkout. So we talked to the reception the earlier night and asked them for a packed breakfast to be kept ready at 7:30. To our delight, when we came out of our rooms for checkout, they had kept the neatly packed breakfast ready for us. Not having to remind someone and wait for it was such a pleasant surprise. Because sometimes in some places the morning shift misses the instructions that you leave for the night shift. This time it was so smooth! the packed breakfast was individually packed sandwiches, fruits, a muffin each. And coffee or juice. We ate it all on the flight, so it worked out perfectly.

I stayed here for three days and it was wonderful! from the moment i checked in to check out, it was all smooth. They called me a day before to know what time i’d be reaching the The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore to keep the room ready. I reached late at night and the restaurant was still open. I got fresh food even late at night. Morning i’d complimentary breakfast which included a variety of dishes, absolutely loved it. The room was kept clean by the house keeping staff throughout the stay. The The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore has one amazing restaurant called the loft, it’s one of the best in the entire city. They also have a really cool cafe on the ground floor. Overall it’s one of the best The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalores in mangalore. I’d definitely recommend it!

I really liked everything about the Hotel starting from Reception it looks like a Library too with books around and wall art is too good and there is a pillar which looks really good and Corridor for Rooms is just 🔥 & room is just wow everything is class, neat and the outside view is too good and has many things in small refrigerator too & chargeable. 4 Water bottles are for free. Buffet will be served at the loft kitchen, bar and hub which is nearby the reception and is daaamn good that ambience is ❤️ varieties of food are incredible and yummy 😋 Highly recommended for stay considering the price point 💯👌🏻

I stayed here with my family for 2 days and we had a good time. Location of The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore is within the city so it was very convenient. Rooms are spacious and colourful. Room service is also good and the The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore staff is very helpful. Food is average and nothing special to mention. We booked the sunrise and sunset combo rooms, and checked in late at night. Staff was very courteous and the check in procedure was very smooth. The rooms were nice and clean, and the sunset room was big with a lot of extra space. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and the included breakfast

Hotel avatar is good and nicely decorated. The room which was allocated to me did not have any window, which was a minus point, as you feel that you are trapped or enclosed within 4 walls.

Great ambience. Decent rooms. Amazing food at loft. The mattress could be better. On a queen bed, two separate mattress were laid out adjacent to each other and that was uncomfortable.

Stayed for 2 days and it was an completely different experience. First of all, the vibe and feel is completely unique. It is an modern The Avatar Hotel & Convention, Mangalore, superb ambience with well trained staff. They have open library in the reception area & it is quite attractive for book lovers. In the ground floor they have cafe, which is quite happening. We missed the spa at first floor. Rooms are small comparitively. Recommened for family stay.
