The Bagh Forest Retreat

Do not book this place in off season( August/september) , it is not at all maintained. Bathroom was dirty(there was a big cockroach living in the toilet pot), no intercom in the room, pool was un-usable(dirty with algae). there were scanty food options for the total of 3 booked rooms at that time. the whole property gets pooled with water after a 1 hour rain.

there was no TV in the room, no wifi in the room, so many cobwebs in the room and restaurant,shampoo was there but no conditioner .... had to call up 1000 times to the room service while the restaurant was just about a few meters away...they wouldn't pick the call at all in the restaurant inspite of the resort being empty.....worst service ever ...on top of it when we lemonade they made it so bad that couldn't swallow ... huge place but illkept ... highly regretted staying in this property...

This is true value for money property. Much affordable than the adjacent resorts but equipped with all the premium facilities. Food was nice & staff was very hospitable. Much recommended. Pols confirm

I went to resort they attend very nicely but for driver not any arrangements to sleep and 1st day no buddy given water to driver so we are emotionally very bad filling that moment after that i shouted then they are providing properly.

Had a wonderful time at The Bagh . Food is very Tasty and so is their Room service . Room is spacious n comfortable .

Had an amazing stay at the bagh. Approaching road wasn’t in the best of conditions though, the place itself was wonderful. Food was good, but more importantly, ambience was fab. Got a chance to stay in one of the spacious junior suites. Especially the washroom was luxurious! would rate the place 4. 5 / 5

We had a great stay. The approach road to the hotel is still the same mud road and it can surely be made more accessible by the hotel management. Overall the rooms, staff, food and service was good.

This was our second stay in this resort. Last year we had stayed here too for 2 days. This is a good resort with good rooms and clean rooms. The staff is also very courteous. However, they should have a couple of junctions more with internet connectivity instead of only the hotel lobby as from some rooms the hotel lobby is quite far. Also, i will recommend the hotel to have card payment option. In tuts era of digital payments, one does not always carry that much cash! the food was good and a special call out to saurabh who was the restaurant manager. He really took good care of the guests from ensuring that the bonfires are continuously filled with fresh wood to food being refilled as soon as the platters were empty.

We had a magnificent stay at The Bagh, Kanha from Jan 1 to Jan 5. The food was scrumptious and mouth-watering, that we all have gained some solid pounds. The location has a lake, loads of birds within the property for the birding enthusiasts. Super friendly staff and an awesome team of cooks. They have various bonfire locations to enjoy your drink or snack in the evenings post the safaris. Our breakfast for the 2 morning safaris was ready well on time and planned to perfection- especially needed during the chilly winter mornings when tiger sightings got tougher as the weather was cloudy and unpredictable. The property is 8 kilometers from the Mukki gate. Plan and book your safaris well in advance to have a great experience combined with your stay at the Bagh, Kanha. Cheers.

Good hotel, food was tasty. They had bonfire at night. Lots of trees where you are allowed to pluck the fruits.

Go in the group and enjoy the stay with the group.
