The Bagh Garh

Pros. The The Bagh Garh is beautiful with a big lawn where you can play badminton, volleyball, etc. And the The Bagh Garh provides the equipment. The rooms are spacious and have tea/coffee maker. Toiletries are provided; but, I did not use them because I was carrying my stuff. The staff is very welcoming and will go out of the way to help you. The food is like home cooked meal; so, no complaints here. There is a cultural program at night where three folk singers sing live and dance. This was a short event probably because we visited in winters. Cons. The The Bagh Garh is located a little away from the lane where all other The Bagh Garhs are. Once you turn for the The Bagh Garh from the main road, you might think that you are entering a wrong place because there are no concrete roads here. Although, this is a 2 minutes drive only; but, we were not expecting this. The buffet is not very elaborate; however, the food is tasty. The property in itself is good with pool and other amenities but because of the 2 min secluded drive, you might want to have dinner at The Bagh Garh only. There is a drain right outside the The Bagh Garh but the smell won't bother you once you are in the The Bagh Garh. The The Bagh Garh arranges Safari at 1000 per person in Canter (children above 5 are charged the same). This is a standard rate across The Bagh Garhs. The Rajasthan tourism website mentions 385/ per person but it is impossible to book through that. So, we opted for Safari from The Bagh Garh.

Sher Vilas is a decent property which provides two options for stay: Maharaja Tents and Rooms. We stayed there for 2 nights (Nov'16) and had opted Maharaja Tent for 1 night and room for the other. However, they upgraded us to tent for both the days. One can try to stay in a tent as it would be a unusual thing to do. Tents are clean and have inbuilt washrooms. Though they tend to heat up during the day but AC is provided in each tent, hence temperature is maintained. Sher Vilas has a gen set for power backup so no worries in case of power outage. Staff is really cooperative and serve you with a smile at all times. The only concern was the quality of food and their restaurant timings (kitchen closes at 10pm). I would rate the food as average. Pros: 1. Staying in tent would be a new experience. 2. Proximity to Ranthambore Safari booking office (around 1-1. 5 km). 3. Cooperative and smiling staff. 4. Peaceful area (though the path to resort is in bad condition). Cons: 1. Average food They had also arranged a cultural event on one night and an interesting video presentation on Ranthambore on the other. Also, they let us check-in much early. Overall it was a nice stay.

I visited for a weekend. The word to describe the stay there is "Awesome". Starting from the booking process, they are so helpful for eg I called them early morning and they were quite happy to help. Once I reached there was really close to nature, so spacious and green. Food quality was outstanding and specially the way food was served, we got what we wanted (we need to let them in advance). Rooms were quite spacious and equipped with everything you would find as a basic amenities. All the staff including the manger Mr Pushpendra was quite helpful. The owner is very friendly and he takes care that whatever promised is made available to the guests. Everything was served with a smile, that make you feel great. Even they arranged the safari with just 100 extra additional cost and also provided pick and drop service to and from the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. I would recommend this place for all who wants to have a pleasant stay while visiting Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Best Part Of Resort: Food and The Staff, really caring and Hospitable.

LOCATION 8/10 Location is off beat from main city but that was much needed for our families vacation. Low mountains around resort gave us perfect sun rise view. Its near gate 6 and 7 of National Park RESORT 9/10 Well maintained resort. Beautiful garden and well kept swimming pool. Maharaja tents was amazing even rooms were good. Tents don’t have tv but will give you extremely campaigning feel. FACILITIES 8/10 Resort has swimming pool, volleyball nets, carrom and other sports facilities. STAFF & FOOD 10/10 Staff is extremely polite, humble towards there customer. A perfect example of hospitality. Food is too good. Veg non veg chinese You name it and chef will provide everything. Food gave us homely feeling. Extremely hygienic and tasty food. No excess oil. Preparation was good.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, with plenty of hot water and AC (needed during the day but we turned it off at night as it was nice and cool). We had all meals included in our room rate and we could choose a la-carte. Staff was very friendly and constantly asking us if we needed anything. We enjoyed playing badminton and our kids played soccer at the great lawn outside our tents. We also enjoyed the pool although it could have been cleaner and the water was very murky. We took the early morning tiger safari (route 6) on a jeep and within 15 mins of the park entrance, saw a beautiful tiger. Great experience overall as our expectations were kind of low and it was all a pleasant surprise.

I visited with my friends for a one night stay and we stayed in "Maharaja Camps". The pick and drop facility was also provided by the The Bagh Garh. The The Bagh Garh is very near to railway station 10 mins ( approx). The approach of the The Bagh Garh is not that great but once you enter you can see a big lush green lawns and amidst the lawns they have set up the tents. The ambience of the tent, interiors, everything was so beautiful, typical Rajasthani feel. Food was very nice. Service was also good. They also have cultural folk dance and fire show in the evening and a bonfire. Which peps up the mood even more. Overall, an amazing stay and value for money.

My stay at Sher Vilas Ranthambore was excellent. Property is completely offbeat and close to nature. Huge open garden to sit around and gaze stars and enjoy fresh air. Hotel staff was amazingly quick in taking our order and specifically like to mention property owners Lalit ji, Suresh ji, Vikalp ji young professionals. Food quality was superb had ordered Laval maans and chicken fingers in snack would recommend all to try this. Property has two cute labradors pup named sultan & zara. Would recommend to try there maharaja tents for a complete nature experience. Cheers to the entire Sher Vilas team.

We were on Rajasthan trip and stayed in 6-7 different The Bagh Garhs during this 7 days long trip but Sher Villas was a completely different and pleasant experience. This property is nicely built with Maharaja tents and Rooms. Very warm and highly supportive staff Special thanks to Bhavani Singh ji and his team in kitchen, and also Pushpendra ji. Food was very good. Really made our trip wonderful. Staying in a tent was amazing experience. It was clean and spacious. There was some minor issues in the tent which they fixed immediately. I would definitely recommend this The Bagh Garh.

Nice and memorable experience, stayed for 2 nights place is very calm and peaceful, away from husstle bustle, we had really comfortable and memorable experience. Staff of this resort is gem, they are seriously amazing very hospitable, polite and always keen to fulfill our demands. Nice The Bagh Garh, rooms at resort were clean and maintained, they have big lawn in front of rooms, food was also good, runs by young team, always available for guest services. They have really very peaceful atmosphere away from hustle and bustle. Good resort in Ranthambore.

Food quality was not good but That May be because we stayed on weekday when the occupancy is very low. But the staff was very friendly and we were allowed to check in early which helped us a lot cbecause we reached quite early.

04 th Jan check in and it was smooth, they have arranged safari on our request. Breakfast was hot and fresh prepared, though due to very less guest they offered some limited item in breakfast. Mr. Satish has shared some facts about place and ranthmbore and also offered "Machli" documentary to run in room TV.

Stayed last month with group of 6 members, nice rooms, big lawn and great service. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Food is awesome and we have got good deal from makemytrip. I found this The Bagh Garh very fine for us. Will recommend to friends and family. Cheers Sher Vilas team.

It was not as per what make my trip has offered. The welcome drink was not served, the room & bathroom cleaning was not good. Food quality was average. The The Bagh Garh view and location was superb. They should improve on service & cleaning as well food quality. Overall experience staying at Sher Vilas was average.

Nice tents .. Nice food ... Nice arrangement .. They organized the cultural program free of cost and also arranged bon fire. Tents are worth to stay .. Altogether a ddifferent experience ... They have two lovely cute dogs called zaara and sultan ... Kids will enjoy with them.

Everything about The Bagh Garh was excellent but no facility (not even a lat. Bath)for the driver was very irritating and unusual specially when resort is situated a little away from the main town. Staff was very helpful and prompt. I give full marks to Mr. Lalit and Mr. Rizwan for their untiring and immediate response for all queries. Outdoor activity in resort like games, folk dance and music at night was memorable. The New Year party was superb. The buffet food was very delicious and Mr. Pintusingh is very active and prompt person. Overall, I shall recommend a stay over here.

Really superb place to be, tents are clean, food is delicious, staff is so hospitable, got impressed by such manners and hospitality - amazing. We spent such a good time there, manager and staff is so helpful, they helped us to know local places and arranged transportation for us in a better price. Food served was so delicious and its quality was good too. It's one of best place to be in Ranthambore.
