The Bark - An Art Hotel

Traveled with my on weekdays for couple of days. The property is made to look absolutely quirky with small details all across the The Bark - An Art Hotel including paintings and small display items everywhere. The The Bark - An Art Hotel had just two guests until our stay so in terms of social distancing absolutely no issues. The food was average and kitchen area stink-ed with smell of oil. Tandoor was not working because the guests were just 2 so couldn't accept it. They had loads of indoor games so just have fun with your friends and family. Its a peaceful place to be with clean pool and dinning area. The service was prompt too on weekends it would be something to check. The parking area could be built better its absolutely dark with no one to check and keep an eye on. There are dogs and cats all over the place so animal lovers enjoy. ! overall nice place for 2-3 days of stay for the price. Enjoyyy.
The The Bark - An Art Hotel staffs had their masks on whenever i saw them around the property. They also did temperature checks and sanitize-rs all over the floors. Quite decent in terms of that.

God knows why i always felt lonavala was not worth a trip since it is so close to pune. But after 42 years on this planet and having run out of options of tourist spots to visit in this rainy season and a desperate need to get out of work, i researched and found the bark The Bark - An Art Hotel. Booked it via mm t and found the entire process smooth. Loved my 1 day stay. The front desk staff mr koustubh was excellent and very hardworking. The owners niece was lovely and welcoming. The The Bark - An Art Hotel is beautifully done up with awesome interiors, painting, art work, pool tables are indoor games, books and the awesome clean pool. The The Bark - An Art Hotel is really perfectly situated in the middle of nature away from hustle and bustle of city life. Must visit guys. And dont forget to leave the place clean and intact. The experience at the bark was enjoyable. The room was well-maintained and pleasant. The restaurant offered delicious meals at reasonable prices. What attracted me to this The Bark - An Art Hotel was its charming ambience, adorned with beautiful paintings and artifacts, creating a delightful atmosphere. The only downside was the absence of a bar at the The Bark - An Art Hotel, but that's a minor detail. One aspect that bothered me slightly was the presence of dogs roaming around freely. While i have no aversion to dogs, i believe it would be better to have a designated area for them, away from the guests. This would ensure that everyone, especially those who may not be as comfortable around dogs, can have a more relaxed and enjoyable stay.

Issues with checkin. Yes the check in timing was 1 pm. I reached there by 11:30. No room was ready. Gentlemen at the front desk told me the following: 1- if you check in early, you will be charged for early check in and we can only allow you at 1pm. I went to the front desk four times, 12:50 pm too and he denied the room. 2- till 1pm they had no rooms ready. Guests have checked out but rooms were not made. Food there was excellent. 8 points for that. Rooms are not that spacious as shown in images. It is a pet friendly The Bark - An Art Hotel so my dog was welcomed there. Appreciate it. Aesthetically The Bark - An Art Hotel looked good. 9 points for that. Overall, 7/10 is the The Bark - An Art Hotel.

A beautiful place to stay for couples as well as family, very tastefully designed, polite staffs, superb breakfast spread, food from alacart menu was also good. We reached the The Bark - An Art Hotel early so we were also lucky to choose our room. It rained heavily in lonavla during our stay, the rain ruined all our plans to step out of the The Bark - An Art Hotel but the games and activities provided by the The Bark - An Art Hotel kept us engaged. By activities i mean pool table, carrom, cards, board games etc. I have absolutely nothing to complain about during my entire stay. Definitely a great option for people visiting lonavala

It's a wonderful place with serene beauty & peaceful location. Loved how everything about the The Bark - An Art Hotel is so antique & beautiful. We were very pleased with the property, the neat clean and spacious room, the dining area, the overall ambience was absolutely fantastic. At check-in we were greeted with the smiling Front Office manager who was very professional and attentive, made the whole check-in process very smooth. Food is okay with reasonable price. The internal road connecting to the The Bark - An Art Hotel is quite steep but manageable.

Got a fantastic deal on mmt, travel-led on a weekday. The staff was nice who gave us a garden view room, place was clean, decor was lively. I was impressed with the beautiful art work around the The Bark - An Art Hotel. It is definitely tastefully done. The staff were very friendly. We had booked the deluxe room with a balcony. The room was clean. Food services were prompt. The room was small as compared to what was shown in the website. The breakfast was a disappointment as we were expecting a buffet. Food was delicious. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the right place.

Location of The Bark - An Art Hotel is good. Close to market. Breakfast was good. Service was fine but no staff was wearing masks. They had to be told and then they wore masks. No covid protocols followed. Room size seemed small but was ok for one day. Reception was kind enough to give us early check in. No fuss created. View was good.

The The Bark - An Art Hotel checkin is 1 pm and since we reached early around 12 they denied us early check-in. That's ok given the resort was full. But we booked studio room and had to settle in deluxe room till 5 pm as someone else who was staying didn't check out on time. Ambience is 100 and food was amazing. The pool was clean and worth a dive. ( management at reception is very poor rest all is amazing. Once u get the room you can enjoy every moment)

My stay at the bark - an art resort was very good. Mostly the food was very nice and their hospitality. I would definitely recommend to visit this place.

It is a very pet friendly place if you have your own pet. I went with my 6 yr old germane shepherd. Of course if your pet is not trained and creates chaos need to avoid. If your pet is under your control then it is a perfect place. People who don't like pets should avoid. Good vibes only.

Stay is very pleasant and worth the money. The rooms are excellent and spacious. Food (breakfast) is also good.

Stray dogs on property 2. Should have better rules for customers checking in with pets 3. Kitchen staff avoided taking orders was lazy 4. Lots of noise in the lobby causing disturbance 5. Location is a bit remote

Property location- remote but peaceful. Advisable only if you have your own vehicle as no other options would be available of you want to come out to the market area. Good in hygiene, food quality can be improved as we got sick. Safety wise is also good.
