The Blue Lake Resort

This is a unique place that brings one closer to nature. A location that can rival any international 'on the lake resort'. Mr. Sumit and his staff are very courteous and try their best to ensure excellent service. Highlight (other than natural beauty) is the food which the chef cutomises to our preference. The idea to make this resort at this location and then put in all efforts to maintain and run it is excellent and mr. Sumit and his team are doing a commendable job ! please do not come with the notion of having a dance / drinking party here - come here to enjoy amazing views of the lake and the mountains and probably the cleanest air to breathe that we can get today and to sleep peacefully without any artificial sounds and wake up to a beautiful sunrise on the lake and chirping of birds. These all can no longer be found in our overcrowded cities.

Visited this place with my wife, a small isolated property right on the banks of the lake. Honestly we were a little skeptical cause some reviews of this place were not so great, but it was a very pleasant surprise to be proved wrong. Everything was perfect for our small holiday be it the cleanliness of the room, the service of the staff and the quality of the food. Everything was just spot on. I just want everyone reading this to realize the property is in an isolated place far away from civilization, enjoy the isolation and the peace it offers while having some empathy to the folks who run this place. It is an uphill struggle believe me and yet they do their best day after day and with a smile. A big salute to the wonderful management, your efforts are hugely appreciated

Starting with road and location it is convenient and safe to reach here no complications. Entering the property from watchman each and every staff is too much supportive and caring and helping. Room size is a bit small but the rooms are comfy and washrooms are well maintained. View of the ac rooms is fabulous and breath taking. With a morning sunrise from the balcony. Property is well maintained kept clean and a happy and quiet place to stay away from hassle and bassle of our life and city. Food here is mouth watering and with a best taste i have ever had in my resorts journey they have nice taste for the food. Just need to maintain the water clean of swimming pool and all the rest is fine done and best

Booked a standard deluxe non ac room since weather was not very warm. The location is really good. Scenic lakeside view, peaceful, scenic, beautiful sunrise n sunset. Kids enjoyed splashing in clean pool. Very open n fresh air environment. Enjoyed morning strolls, evening walks. Well maintained garden n small ground for play area, kids play area. Restaurant serves tasty food in reasonable rates. My room was a bit small but room service is good. Hotel staffs are very nice, smiling always. A cake was organized for us at our request at no cost. On the house. The only thing. I had to pay extra 2000 for a lakeside view room. All in all a good experience.

The resort location is beautiful. The atmosphere around and the property design is very nice. The staff is very supportive. There is scope to improve food quality further. The property is located just next to the lake. The lake can be seen from both sides of property but from a distance. The road to reach the property is very narrow and only one vehicle can pass from the road at a time and if you are not a good driver then please consider this point before you finalize on this property.

The resort is located in a place surrounded by marvelous natural greenery and a magnificent water body. It is a gem of a place except the entry point with a very narrow road. The resort boasts of a nice swimming pool for relaxation of residents. Room and bathroom are well maintained. A wide velvet lawn spread all round. Food items were very tasty. Every one of us enjoyed the staycation.

The location and surrounding of the resort is excellent. However around 800 m access road towards the resort is very narrow. The size of the ac deluxe room is comparatively small but well furnished and neat &clean. Food quality is very good. The behaviour of the staff is very polite and good. Overall a very good experience

This place is just in front of lake and gives a beautiful view of lakes and hills in surrounding, provided you take the ac suite room or ac deluxe rooms. Non ac rooms don't have a proper balcony sit out so you need to go out for the view. Has play area and swimming pool which engages kids. Food is nice and tasty

The property location is remote but well placed along a water body and had a very naturistic and beautiful morning view. The room was clean and hygienic. Food was good and had service in time.

Property is at good location. The staff is helpful and went all way out to help us. the sunrise and sunset is pleasure to eyes. The food option can be better. The swimming pool needs more cleaning, although they cleaned daily. It would be added advantage, if somehow resort can provide access to Lake.
