The Bouganvilla

I believe The main assets of The property are its staffs The managers, The cook, The other helpers. My actual rating for The property would be good or nice, and The additional excellent rating is for The People. Bouganvilla is a 180-year old bungalow. The structure is quite robust and The owners have kept it almost as it was. I was told that it underwent very little renovation (no renovation was required) and it does maintain its charm. It is near (between 1-2 km from) The City center, bus stand, and The Market. Outside it, towards The right, there is a big plantation ground. You can walk down for 5 minutes to reach The beautiful tree Park Arboretum. The property manager can arrange transport at reasonable rates for sightseeing. The common areas are kept clean. Grassy lawn, lots of flowers all Around The property is really very picturesque. Food was very good, customized according to The taste and instructions are given. The cook was very polite and attentive. We wanted non-spicy and less oily food and instructed The cook accordingly. He prepared The items to perfection. I found The food to be a bit expensive though. The green salad was charged, each chapati was been paid, to give a few examples. You also have The option of ordering The food through Swiggy. As The place is very much inside The City, Swiggy delivers here. If you are planning to book rooms (there are a total of 7 rooms), you may also look to contact The property/manager directly, you may get rooms at a lesser rate. I realized it during my stay there when some potential travelers were inquiring about The rates by directly contacting The property. MakeMyTrip charged a higher price (even after discount coupons) to me. There are few possible improvement points too. They can clean The rooms proactively every-day/every alternate day. Each room can be provided with an electric kettle. Some more variety can be included in The complimentary breakfast menu. Before ending The review, I must thank The staffs of The property The manager (Mr. Murali joe), cook and helpers for making our stay there very enjoyable. If I travel to Ooty again, would love to meet them definitely.

Excellent location. Enjoyed with my family. Must thank my colleague Jai Ganesh for referring such a great place. Homemade yummy food is one of the greatest advantage to stay in Bouganvilla resort. In addition, quality and quantity of the food is commendable. From Manager Suma to house keeping girls were really helpful and my son enjoyed to the core.. He even forced us to leave him at resort with the girls when we planned for sightseeing. I will plan again for a trip simply to stay and relax in Bouganvilla resort. Thanks again for your excellent service..

I with my wife stayed for 3 nights. Since most of the days we were out touring we spent our nights with our friends at the place. The staff is cooperative. The rooms (diamond) where we stayed is nice, cosy and beautiful. Property and the room is clean at most of the parts. Wifi is an issue so u have to use hotspot from your mobile operator. The staff (anand) was kline enough to arrange for bonfire for us. Location of the property is good. It is very near to ooty lake( back side. We were satisfied and happy with our stay.

Overall the was really good. Except the road to reach there. All the places to be visited in ootyy is just close to Bougainville. So ter was no need of much travel and v could almost cover all the tourist places. The food was really yummy. Ter is no words to explain the taste of it. And the employee s were also good and very friendly. The campfire and the barbeque was really awesome. The only problem which v faced is with the door of roomno. 102. It was really hard to open it.

About 1 km from ooty lake and mini train station. Slightly at higher elevation off the road hence quiet place. The rooms and beds and bathrooms are well maintained and very spacious. Breakfast has bread toast butter jam + idli+ one more item. Quality of breakfast can be improved a little. But i am not food y so enjoyed their dosa we only opted for simple dal rice chapati veg. Dal rice was excellent.

I stayed att bouganvilla for one night with my family and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It is located a little away from hustle and bustle of city and hence it is very calm and peaceful. The ambience and surroundings are beautiful. Caretaker is good. Food options are limited. If you are looking for a homestay experience in budget category, this is the right place.

The location of the resort is average. But the environment is kind of peaceful and soothing and very quiet. If someone is looking for a peaceful place then this is it. The service needs some serious improvement. The kitchen does not provide you with food all the time. One needs to inform hours (like 4-5 hours) prior to having a meal be it lunch or dinner.

Exceptionally well service from employee. Simple, neat rooms, good breakfast, good dinner, good service from the room boys 24/7 parking available. I will never book another room in Ooty except Bougainvillea in future.

Loved staying in bouganvilla - a very maintained british style cottage. They have very courteous and friendly staff who welcomed and took care of all our requirements happily. Extremely satisfied with our stay here and highly recommend it to everyone.
