The Byke Old Anchor Beach Resort & Spa

One of the best location to stay in south goa. Property is situated very near to cavelossim beach. Having very good open space within resort. On one side, there is a river which provides very serene view. It has a very good in-house restaurant which provides good affordable food. Resort provides and allows only pure vegetarian food which i really liked. On negative side, property is very old and overall not well maintained. So, there was some issues in some units related to maintenance. Walls inside the room needed some makeover in terms of finishing and paintings. If you can ignore these things, and focus on positives like location advantage, outdoors and food etc, you should go ahead with it.

Overall a good stay with a few initial glitches. Let me write in details 1) for an economy property, this is a spacious one and has some 240 units, spread out in clusters of 4 units in a g+1 building. 2) i found out that this was an oldest time share project of india, but didn't take off well, that time. 3) being an old property, needs repairs & touch ups, including accessories, appliances. 4) if one reads past reviews about this property, it is evident that the current location team has done some great job) 5) this is a veg only property serving some good veg food (we had just one breakfast meal and it was good)

I had a really pleasant stay at the byke old anchor beach resort. The location is perfect, just a two minute walk from the gorgeous cavelossim beach. The room was large and spacious, with a sofa included! i had travel-led alone for a conference but for staying with family, this The Byke Old Anchor Beach Resort & Spa would certainly be a very good suggestion. The food was vegetarian, so i ate out most of the time which was not a problem because of scores of restaurants nearby as well. All in all, i really enjoyed my stay and hope to be back!

It was a good experience staying in byke The Byke Old Anchor Beach Resort & Spa, cavelossim. The location is just awesome just opposite cavelossim beach. Also the backside backwater view is mind-blowing. The rooms and service were fine but needs a little maintenance especially regarding cleanliness of the rooms. The kitchen needs a tap and drain. The restaurent food is okay but items are limited and for breakfast the paratha gets over too often. Overall a satisfactory experience.

I stayed here for a weekend, and i was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and it’s located near key attractions. It’s not luxurious, but for the price, it delivers exactly what i needed. I would definitely stay again for a short trip.

The sitting area and food were up to the mark. I am not the one to smoke pot but the people over there including my family seemed to have a great time while smoking pot.
