The Candlewood Park Beach Resort

Nice location, clean and spacious rooms, clean washrooms, nice balcony, clean compound - all good. Food is not that tasty, and is costly.

The manager behaviour was not good just for 2 hours of late check out he directly told me give the whole amount of room or either leave the room very much inappropriate and rude nature

The quality of candelwood had degraded drastically in the past few years the rooms aren't clean enough the washrooms are unpleasant plus they also are misleading by mentioning amenities and then straight up denying it felt like a money extorting facility more than a luxury brand.

The forestta block rooms at candlewood were really good and service is great. Beach is easily accessible

Firstly I said Front office staffs attitude was very bad , who from the 1st time onwards says NO for anything... this is our 1st time in candlewood park beach resort so we booked executive conifer room so that we can enjoy the sea view nicely but the room before onwards that is 105 which was very bad corner room where we can see the sea view slightly lots of tree which is blocking the view. we informed him that please change our room but he denied and replied all rooms are booked which was generally not because we have seen the current room. was selling by new guest's we requested but not listening us. we informed manager the same in what's app but no solution. our departure time is at 10:30am which requested to extend little late for that we can pay also but receptionist not listened us my wife requested that ladies can't stay without toilet so please you can extend our timings for that we can pay extra , but receptionist people are very unhelpful.. taking higher money food money is so higher RS 30 for rice Ford dal food prices very high even rice prices also high

we visited the place this weekend, it was amazing staying out there. easy accessibility to the beach, and the service was outstanding.

The property is well decorated. Rooms are spacious . Swimming pool , garden are nice. Service is also nice . Food needs improvement .Items are not worth the price.

Wonderful experience and very cordial staff. Just about the kitchen timings: it is very tight , should be flexible or atleast from 6 AM to 10 PM including tea and bread which is very basic . Rest all is very good and standard

Hotel was Good but there was no sea view, hotel was not having lift which was very strange and difficult to access every time as we hv room at second floor. Also washroom at the ground floor was very dirty and unhygienic. My child got stuck in the bathroom as look was not in good stage when I asked them they have no answer to it. Restaurant was also ok types and overall hotel was expensive in terms of pricing as it was without breakfast...

I had a beautiful and peaceful stay here! The property is divided into two sides across the road — Conifer Block and Forestta Block. I stayed in the Forestta side, which had a lovely swimming pool and a calm, nature-filled vibe. The Conifer side has direct access to a private beach, perfect for sunset walks. The staff were polite and helpful — they even allowed me early check-in since my room was ready, which made my experience smoother. The room was cozy, clean, and aesthetically decorated with a garden view. Food was tasty, and the surroundings were peaceful and well-maintained. If you’re looking for a place that blends comfort, aesthetics, and tranquility, this is a perfect getaway. Would love to come back again! 🌺

I can suggest this property, overall experience was good. stuffs were very professional specially form food and beverage department subhendu.

The resort is well maintained and features a beautifully decorated swimming pool. The staff are courteous and very helpful. It’s located in a good area, slightly away from the main market, so the crowd is less — which is a nice advantage. The only aspect that could be improved is the food taste.

Candlewood Resort is the best resort in Mandarmoni. The stay, the service staff, food and tariff are awesome. One can get an awesome view and access to the sea side. The premises is safe, clean and spacious. This resort has a separate parking space for your vehicle. Also the resort is accessible to the main city centre. Overall a great place to stay and enjoy with your loved ones.

The rooms were spacious,the property opens right up to the beach and there’s a beautiful deck to sit and chat for hours,overlooking the sea. The swimming pool is very clean, very beautiful. However, the food is tasty yet exhorbitant. The quantity is also not commensurate with the prices which will force you to eat out. If the food prices could be brought down by 30%, the property would be even more commendable.

the resort is split into two parts, one is beach facing and the other part is on the opposite side of the road and it has the swimming pool area. The beach facing area also has some water sports in the day. the pool area also has a bar inside the pool which is a nice touch. The restaurant is beach facing with a good view, and serves great tandoori dishes including seafood such as pomfret on the grill. there is a children play area as well. we stayed in the cottage on the beach facing side. there is parking and the pool side area has more space and better rooms whose tariff is higher. room service was great

Staff was very nice but we faced problems regarding the food and room.We booked a vintage room from foresta block , after reaching there we have upgraded the room to the cottage from the conifer block. At first we loved the room due to the sea view and spaciousness. But then we started facing the issues. We didn't like the food at all.At the first day we ordered chicken dakbunglow, the dish was so-so,but the chicken had a bad old smell. So the next day we give it a try again with french toast, it was sweet like gulab jamun. Also during our 4 night stay washroom flush stopped working 2 times and water leakage from the toilet room. Only thing that kept us comfortable was the sea view and the staff service. Every day housekeeping came and cleaned the room thoroughly and their behaviour was very nice. Also I forgot to mention the pool was also great, had a wonderful experience there. Overall it was an okayish experience.

Property is good but their food service is terrible , every time we ordered food always there was mistaken order delivered to us, delayed service as well as most of the times we had to call on reception number 3 4 times as there was no one to pick up the calls and even though we payed the amount for vintage room in forestta block still the receptionist did not give us the room he directly said no we cannot provide you room although all the rooms costed same under vintage room categories so we had to upgrade it by paying more. Never going recommend this property to any one.

Hotel was neat and tidy. Liked the ambience. Worthy in staying at candlewood
