The Candlewood Resort

Nestled in the serene kashid murud region, the candlewood resort boasts an ideal location merely a short walk from the captivating murud beach. A ten-minute ride on the provided two-wheeler by the courteous ram kaka, effortlessly takes you to the mesmerizing kashid beach. The resort is a picturesque haven surrounded by nature's embrace. Opening the door or window reveals breathtaking views of the majestic mountains, offering a serene backdrop to enjoy morning tea in the spacious lawn or on the veranda. The well-maintained grounds also hosted delightful evenings, including an impromptu garb a session with fellow guests. Ajay sir conscientiously ensures the playful and endearing dogs, lucci and rambo, are secured when guests are around. The family behind the resort, including owner rohini ma'am, her husband, her brother shashikant bhai, and their children, created an inclusive atmosphere during our stay. Their invitation to join in the diwali and ajay sir's birthday celebrations fostered friendships among guests. Shlok became a fast friend, while shaurya and my eldest son, jaison, formed an inseparable bond. Their down-to-earth and welcoming nature made striking conversations effortless. Ajay sir epitomizes exceptional hospitality, attentively catering to guests' needs round the clock, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. His respect towards both guests and staff is commendable, reflecting in the polite and hardworking demeanor of the entire team, including ram kaka, house staff, and cooks. The rooms are generously spacious, with remarkably comfortable beds. Very thoughtful to keep extra mattress and pillows in each room. Lcd tv with wi-fi connectivity, free wi-fi, and essential toiletries in the bathroom. Ample wardrobe space. The unique design separates bathrooms and toilets within the room. Surprisingly, despite the coastal locale, the water wasn't hard. Using the provided shampoo in the local water left hair soft and tangle-free after showers. The staff's honesty shone through; despite leaving our rooms unlocked for our kids' ease, all our belongings, including wallets and purses on bedside tables, remained safe. Even though construction was underway in a section of the property, the impeccable cleanliness of the lawn stood out. Not a single nail or wood piece was left scattered around, showcasing the workers' and staff's meticulous attention to safety and maintaining a pristine environment. Diwali evenings were made even more magical with the resort adorned by the soft glow of diyas, festively decorated entrances, cafeterias, and rooms. The freshly prepared, authentic, and flavorsome meals were a highlight. Customizing dishes to suit the kids' preferences made dining hassle-free. The dedicated cooks, referred to as didi, were not just incredibly humble but also diligent. Portions were generous, especially with rice served in handis, accentuating the freshness of locally sourced ingredients. Ordering in advance ensured timely and freshly prepared meals. Breakfast options ranged from poha, upma, a loo paratha, to bread omelets, with the sheera being a personal favorite. The veg and non-veg thalis offered during lunch and dinner were delightful, and the kokam kadi was simply exceptional. The nostalgia-inducing mango pickle made by rohini ma'm's mother was a reminiscent of my husband's childhood memories which he used to have at his friend's house, was a testament to the homely touch in every dish. Ajay sir's promise of serving us modak was fulfilled, and its exquisite taste left us in awe. My youngest, dhavin, lovingly referred to ajay sir as 'mammam uncle' instead of ajay uncle. Our cherished moments were spent watching the kids play in the play area while relishing hot masala chai with crispy onion pakodas in the serene lawn. In essence, my elder one was reluctant to leave the swimming pool, while my little one was enchanted by the play area. Our three-day sojourn at the candlewood resort not only allowed us to explore kashid but also gifted us a treasure trove of memories to cherish indefinitely.

I had a wonderful time with my family. I stayed for 2 nights and experienced both stay options (russian wood and luxury. The wooden rooms are spacious and excellent for a family of 4 to 6. Cleanliness at the resort is among the best i've ever seen. Staying in the wooden room reminded me of my stay at aambey valley. Luxury rooms are perfect for couples, offering the best scenic view of the valley. The rooms are furnished with top-quality flooring and beds that give you a 5-star feeling. During my stay at this resort, i didn't feel the need to try food anywhere else. The food quality is outstanding, and there is indoor and outdoor seating, providing one of the best dining experiences. The resort boasts a very well-maintained swimming pool that can be used even at night. It also offers other indoor games like carrom and badminton. The location is close to kashid beach, one of the finest and most serene beaches in murud. It's also conveniently close to murud janjira, making it easy for me to plan my trip. The staff is exceptionally humble and helpful. I appreciate the gesture of checking on me even after my checkout to ensure i had reached home safely. Kudos to the team and management. Great place to stay. We had the room close to the pool. The room was well set up with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. The pool was great - the kids were there for most of the time enjoying and we enjoyed it too. The surrounds are nice and gardens well kept. It was quiet at night. In short Perfect & relaxing. Perfect accommodation, excellent location, friendly staff. They also organised small birthday party and it was a bliss.kids were super happy about food it was awesome home cooked food with perfect taste, again upto mark good quantity and reasonable rates. Will be returning. We had a nice stay at this resort. definitely booking to come back. Thank you for the awesome hospitality.

Candlewood is a nice place to stay along with your friends and family. Good service and rooms are very neat and clean. Property is very near to kashid beach and it is surrounded by nature. Property does have swimming pool and kids play area which will assure kids to enjoy more. Food is good and people are very humble and always there to help and serve. You will get complimentary modak on your visit. Breakfast is free. Night ambience is cool with outdoor dinner and sound system. Best and peaceful place. Airtel does not have signal but jio has signal. I would recommend others to visit this place and have a good time.

Rooms were crystal clean. Specially toilets and bathroom were clean. Service was extremely prompt. Manager ajay was extremely polite and professional. Car parking has more than enough space. Got a chance to interact with owner and his family. Whatever suggestions were given, all accepted politely by owner also. Garden and ambiance was nice. Swimming pool was clean and clear. Food was very tasty. I suggest all to have an experience to stay at candlewood resort.

We stayed two nights in candlewood resort . The overall stay was pleasant . Staff was very supportive and always ready to help 😊. Caretaker Ajay himself engaged kids with the activities . Though food (veg) options were not much but simple homemade food was tasteful. Location is 5 min drive from The Candlewood Resort to main kashid beach . overall it was nice experience .

Property is at a great location with just 700m away from beach. House (ajay) was excellent and extremely friendly and polite to talk with. Our stay was garnished with a super delicious food which was lovely and usually served hot. We loved the recommendation of ajay to have a local dish known as “ghavne”. Overall was a fantastic stay. Definitely recommended.

Everything including location, food, hygiene & safety was excellent. Caretaker was very good. Food was so delicious, no words can describe it. Even normal daal was very tasty. They gave ukadiche modak as complimentary. Fish was also very yummy and the quantity they provide with taste, in that price was extremely good.

We made a haste decision to go to kashid beach and booked this The Candlewood Resort. It was an excellent place to relax far from the city. What was equally excellent was the food and the staff. We recommend this place for quiet relaxing getaway

Stay in candlewood resort was awsome. I have not seen such wonderful hospitality of staff of candlewood like ever before. Rooms were excellent. Food was excellent. This is one of the finest resorts i have ever stayed in my life. 5 star from my side.
