The Chalets Naldehra close to Shimla just off the road and easily missed without a large banner display was a beautiful weekend getaway from the city hustle bustle. The beautiful pine cottages with little private gardens scattered around the resort were resplendent, reminiscent of some quaint our open village in the vicinity of the prestige bald era pine forest. I had booked into a deluxe room with a balcony but was promptly upgraded to an apartment by the courteous staff. My apartment had a living room area, bedroom with an attached bathroom greeted by a small sunny private garden. I was lucky to be close to the lift area, the restaurants and the naturally heated indoor swimming pool. This resort even has a revolving restaurant with a 360 view. The food served is a bit on the pricey side and i would recommend taking the breakfast dinner buffet package as an add on to save in a few chips. There is a golf course close by and lonely trails leading into the beautiful bald era forest. I would like to stay. She ham changed for making this trip memorable. My only gripe is the handicap shim-la highway lane project which is a traffic jam magnet with pathetic road conditions.
I had booked a deluxe room with a balcony and was upgraded to an apartment on request. My apartment had access to a beautiful sunny private garden. There was a living room area with a bedroom and an attached bathroom. The bedroom had a queen sized double bed and a small led TV well lit by sunlight streaming through decent sized windows on two sides overlooking the garden area. The living room on the other hand was a bit on the darker side but was of a good size equipped with a stainless steel kitchen sink area and a single door refrigerator furnished with cane furniture. A 3 seater with two single seater. There was a small cane wooden round dinner table with 6 cane chairs around it. Overall a very good package.

The location of the The Chalets Naldehra is amazing; It is nestled in the pine forests and accessible from the main road. There are two walking trails. The longer one is probably quite long and one can potentially do a half day to one day hike. The shorter one is quite small, but a practically private trail with amazing views of a small valley. The mornings are beautiful there and the place was full of butterrflies of different kinds in the mid morning when we visited the place in early april. There are also a nice half-day walking path around the golf course, also accessible on foot from the The Chalets Naldehra. If you employ local guides, one can explore areas of amazing beauty such as a hike through the wilderness to the origin of the red river. A fantastic location for nature lovers. The property is tastefully build and one can image the place being really cosy in the winter. The food and services are great. I have no hesitation is highly recommending this place (and we booked this place because of word of mouth recommendation from a friend.
The The Chalets Naldehra has put in place safety practices and the staff seems to follow them. I did not see anything alarming during my three day stay there and i am happy with the safety standards.

The room and the location were both exceptionally beautiful. The staff are all very well mannered and courteous. The highlight of this resort is the location, which is amidst pines and dears. Beautiful gardens, that are very well maintained, abound in the resort. However, there was a leakage problem in the bathtub of one of the toilets that could not be got repaired or rectified by the staff despite due notice and complaint. The other thing that needs mention is that the restaurant is very expensive. The The MakeMyTrip tarrifs for this resort are exclusive of breakfast and free breakfast is not included in the room rent and is charged at an exorbitant per person approx. Other than that, everything was top class as best as a secluded mountainous area can offer.

The room was good... Very clean. The location is mind blowing. The food was also very nice... Though a little expensive. There are activities to make your day. THe scenic beauty is worth appreciating. It's a place where peace of mind flows like anything. Admirers of nature will love this place. I give full marks to cleanliness. The hospitality of the staff was also worth appreciating. There are forests all around. One can enjoy forest walk. Its a very calm and peaceful place, extremely beautiful. I would love to go there again. Indoor swimming pool is a unique feature here in naldehra. Overall a place to be given full marks. Must visit.

Amidst the snowy mountains, this location is pristine. The staff is very welcoming. We stayed five days and we enjoyed the view it offers. Places near to this is mashobra and kufri. Visit this location in Jan-Feb when its covered with snow. We spent new year there and they had great variety of spirits and enjoyed the bonfire with locals performing. They also had fireworks. It gives us the feeling of a family in there. Things to improve are the facilities in the bathroom and also the rooms should have more heaters as the wood cottages are more chilling. The maintenance of the property is simply wow.

We went on 28th nova 2020 and just loved the resort. This resort is situated 60 kms approx from shimla, naldehra. Beautifully maintained resort with amazing cottages. We booked cottage for our stay. There is a forest trail attached to the resort. You can go for walk. The view from the resort is mesmerising. Food was good too: they have revolving restaurant. I would highly recommend to stay at this lively resort. They have options for 2bhk and 3 bhk cottages in-case you are going with a group of family. Staff was cooperating.

When you are at chalet, you are at your holiday destination. Surrounded by tall Deodar trees on all four sides, beautiful lawns, comfortable wooden huts The lovely resort ensures that you begin and end your holiday right here without The need to step out for sightseeing. I practically spent my entire break here Reading in my favourite corners, sipping a perfect latte, relishing mouthwatering dishes and swimming. Highly recommended if you are looking to spend your time off from work to unwind and zone out

I would love to revisit or preferred to extend my stay for a couple of days. The resort is nestled amidst primarily Deodar and pines. Forest walk in the backyard made it an experiential stay. Resort staff is extremely helpful and supportive. Kudos to the management. Organizing the events and managing this picturesque resort. Take aways- Host 360 degree revolving restaurant with gives a vantage view of the resort and valley. Humble staff and great food. Perfect place for relaxing holidays.

Picturesque location in The lap of nature, idyllic, peaceful, comfortable and a wonderful getaway. Has great ambience and food. Fits in all The essentials of a great holiday in a mountain resort.

We had an amazing stay in this very very beautiful property. Their pool is just superb. The property is covered up with beautiful plants and flowers! Just wow! Must stay place.

The place is nice, warm and cozy wooden huts, nestled in the forest. The 360 place is just average better view from the garden. Great service, lovely people, good food!

One word eternal peace away from Shimla. The staff is courteous and willing to go The extra edge for customer satisfaction. I would definitely recommend it to anybody coming to Shimla but wants to avoid normal tourist locations of Shimla and just wants to have some me time with nature

The safety standards are acceptable. Not the best. But you can live with it as far as (as is always the case in india). One takes personal safety precautions. Additionally, i also felt the railings in the garden overlooking precipitous depths below, are of shorter heights. Parents will need to be careful with smaller children, always. The staff is very pleasant and quite reasonably careful in covid times. Always smiling and very prompt and helpful
