The Chanakya BNR Hotel

We had such an awesome experience at Chanakya BNR Puri with family. It is a heritage The Chanakya BNR Hotel and the ambience of the place is just simply awesome. It feels like a colonial mansion. The rooms are large and spacious with all modern amenities. There is a well kept garden and pool. The restaurant is very good and serves very good food, although a bit slow. The breakfast spread is also good. The only thing about the The Chanakya BNR Hotel is that it is not beachfront, but it is a peaceful location and that is equally good. The private golden beach is 5 minutes away. Overall excellent stay and will definitely stay here anytime i come to Puri.

Excellent stay where from the beginning the experience was superb. Special surprise was organised by my friend with the support of F&B Manager Mr. Jagannath Dixit (custom room decor). Rooms are great and very classy vintage furniture. Ambiance is fabulous. Nice pool area; although we didn’t use. The building has a victorian charm. Excellent stay overall. One dampening situation was a sudden stench that came from the bathroom which required us to shift to a different room temporarily. The breakfast is perfect and services very prompt across all departments - House Keeping/ Room Services/ Guest Services / F&B .

The The Chanakya BNR Hotel turned out to be much better than expected. The rooms and the whole colonial building is a class apart. It was a treat to capture the The Chanakya BNR Hotel building pictures starting from the reception and royal verandah. Food was delicious and prepared and served very well. Will have to come back again to enjoy the The Chanakya BNR Hotel and it's elegance. A real colonial retreat.

Excellent central location but no direct beach access. However, close to the paid and clean blue flag beach. Beautiful property and common areas. Excellent breakfast. Lovely large and well fitted rooms. Good food for lunch and dinner. Nice private pool. However, staff service could be improved.

The stay was good, the only problem was the leakage in the bathroom. The room was quite spacious, the bed was comfortable and more importantly the beach was nearby. The food spread and quality was also good. Overall a nice staycation.

Lovely spacious rooms with common sit out area for guests. Food was also very delicious. Overall it was a very nice experience.

The property is situated close to the beach and Jagannath temple. Food is superb. The staff is very cooperative. Clean and hygiene property.
