A picturesque escape in nature's embrace i recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming cheese cottage resort in tangmarg, kashmir nestled in a breathtaking lush green pine forest surrounded by majestic mountains. My experience was nothing short of idyllic, as every aspect of this secluded retreat left me spellbound. From the very moment i arrived, it was evident that this resort went above and beyond to create a haven where nature and luxury coexist in perfect harmony. The picturesque landscape served as a constant reminder of the beauty that lay just beyond my doorstep. The cottages themselves were an embodiment of cozy comfort and rustic elegance. The attention to detail was truly remarkable, as cottage featured unique touches that added character and authenticity. The warm wooden interiors, stone fireplaces, and plush furnishings created a welcoming atmosphere that made it difficult to ever leave. One cannot discuss this place without mentioning the attentive and friendly staff, who spared no effort in ensuring i had a memorable stay. From assisting with travel plans to providing insider tips on nearby hiking trails, the food prepared by the in house chef was lip smacking, their expertise and genuine hospitality made me feel like i was among friends. As for the activities and experiences offered, there was an abundance of options to satisfy any outdoor enthusiast. Whether it was exploring the nearby trails, relaxing by the pristine mountain stream, or simply unwinding with a book in hand, there was never a shortage of things to do for those seeking solace in nature. Speaking of nature, the breathtaking vistas that greeted me every morning were the highlight of my stay. The sight of the sun casting its golden glow on the snow-capped peaks, the gentle morning mist slowly swirling through the valley, and the symphony of birdsong - these memories are etched in my mind forever. If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this boutique cottage resort is an oasis of tranquility where serenity meets luxury. It is a place where nature's splendor envelopes you, rendering worries inconsequential and allowing you to reconnect with the simple joys that often go unnoticed. Without a doubt, my time here will always be cherished as a truly remarkable experience. I would definitely be back again and for extended stay.

Wonderful location in the middle of nowhere and hospitable staff but food can be better ( esp breakfast options are very limited and basics like cheese, peanut butter etc missing. Also power goes frequently and the gen is not turned on promptly so it is recommended that you keep the geyser on all the time. The fireplace chimney was not working so that was disappointing. Rooms are snug and cosy.

Truly truly magical. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who plans to visit gulmarg and even kashmir for that matter. If there’s heaven on earth, it’s here and the host ins-ha is the sweetest person you will meet in hospitality. She really deserves all the praise internet is talking about. We love cheese cottage and highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay! you have full privacy with all requirements taken care of. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food is homely and delicious; there is a bonfire to sit by along a flowing stream!the homestay is in the middle of a lushious trees and mountains of tangmarg. Loved our stay. Will highly recommend!

Stay was wonderful, food was delicious, location and ambiance was exceptional. Staff were polite and services were quick. Overall stay was fantastic, wonderful stay. Would love to return again in our next visit.
