The Chettinad Heritage

The chettinad heritage resort is a well-maintained, authentic chettinad mansion close to the nh. Easily accessible and relatively close to the other chettinad hotspots. The room we got allotted was spacious and well maintained. Room service was prompt. The breakfast was tasty and with variety and served with warmth and care. We took our dinner there only during our stay. The dinner is mostly vegetarian and you have to confirm in advance. Non-veg was available on demand. The staff were well behaved, courteous and very helpful. We made multiple requests for hot water and food parcels and all were met with a smile and prompt service. The location itself is nearby the kanadukuthan town, the hotspot of chettinad culture and the karaikudi town itself is a 10km drive away. Overall a very good experience.

Its better described as a “home”stay, not a “The Chettinad Heritage”, as it gives one the same warm satisfaction of taking a holiday in a grandparent’s ancestral home ! located in a little unspoilt, quiet village, which has many houses of traditional architecture, this property exudes old world charm. Full marks to the wonderful staff - so courteous, pleasant and helpful. Clean, comfortable bed and bath. Wholesome, traditional breakfast. They have no restaurant as such, but lunch & dinner are catered on request. To sum up, loved the experience ; big ‘thank you’ to the staff for everything.

Just a wonderful amazing stay at chettinad heritage. Booked it for a family vacation. The staff were super supportive and friendly. Chef, she's a magician. Lovely lovely gentle on the stomach kind of food. The house itself is a beautiful house. Loaded with nostalgia of the past.

We had a wholesome stay and appreciate the best staff/team who really went above and beyond to take care of us. One of the best home style food, food for soul. Lovely location, outside the hustle bustle. Mansions in the area are absolutely stunning. Thank you for all!

Booked this place for a chettinad heritage feel and was not disappointed. The rooms and washrooms were also clean. The food whatever served was very tasty and the service was good. On the whole, had a good experience in the facility.

Good property with a vintage heritage home feel.Good loaction.The hospitality of the staff is excellent. They offered delicacies from Chettinad for breakfast. Room amenities can be improved, there was no kettle. it's worth 3.5k-4k.

it is decent property with friendly staff... we felt like home. food was not typical Karaikudi, less spicy.... (atleast they sell in other places as karaikudi). they do not have many options
