This place is an ethnic Chettinadu style mansion converted to a resort. A massive iron painted gate guards the property. Once you enter the property the level of cleanliness simply bowls you. The inside of the resort has old black and white pictures, antiques and is so neatly and colorfully painted. Rooms are a bit small but very tastefully decorated. The location is a. Village which remains still as it was in the past. For those looking for a very different kind of stay, this place is ideal. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. The food is excellent.

Overall excellent experience to stay with Chettinad Heritage The Chettinad Heritage in Karaikudi. I would rate The food quality was top class, I would love to come back again only for food. Rooms were very clean and excellent team if people managing this property. Only drawback could be it's location but nowadays with Google maps it is not that hard to find it Once again kudos to The Chettinad Heritage team for The warm stay

The place was very neat and clean. The staff were very polite and helpful, going out ipof their way to help us with anything we wanted. However the surrounding area was quite unkempt, with poor roads, and cow dung all over,. Music from a nearby temple was blaring all night which prevented us from getting proper sleep at night. The decor was just mediocre. .

Went on a trip with the family. Loved the location, design, food and hospitality. Unfortunately had a nearby temple festival, which had played very loud music, which put a dent on the experience. We found the beds and pillow comfortable, but our senior citizens found it real hard. Overall, good place to stay to experience karaikudi.

Stayed for 2 nights. Most top places to see is just 5 minutes drive from this place. Although surrounded with lot of heritage villas too and worth a visit. Friendly host and good hospitality. Got a room with rooftop balcony, clean rooms. Yummy sumptuous food served by care takers. Worth considering this stay in chettinad.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. Food served was delicious. Chettinad heritage house visit, kundrakudi temple, pillayarpatti temple, tirumayam fort and athankudi all places are very near to this The Chettinad Heritage. Worth stay.

Excellent stay at Chettinad Heritage. Everything was up to The mark. Traditional ambience with tasty food and clean rooms. All staff were helpful special mention to Kalidas. Have stayed in many The Chettinad Heritages and resorts inside and outside India. This one was a really different experience.

A good one but not for senior citizens

Elegant architecture of chettinad, very tasty chettinad breakfast, courteous staff, very calm place. Really enjoyed our very short stay here. Will definitely come back for experiencing more of chettinad art, culture, and food.

As The name suggests it is authentic in always food, rooms, staffs

Our stay here was so pleasing and felt always pampered. Our booking was late evening booking and a short stay. Staff were very prompt and professional in seeing us to The room as quick as possible. Thanks a lot for a wonderful, short and cozy stay. Would love to return back.

There can be parking arrangements made. The evening security guard can be a more approachable. He was very rigid. The service staff and front office staff were very pleasant and accommodative. Overall a good stay experience. Recommend.

It is more like a middle class Chettinad home converted to a homestay The Chettinad Heritage. Basic rooms, no amenities of a The Chettinad Heritage.
