chinar resort is away from the hustle and bustle of the centre in pahalgam. it is around 4 years old. the furniture and fittings are good. rooms have balcony overlooking the snowcapped mountains and the lidder river. staff are courteous. food is a little pricey but good. need to stay for atleast two days and enjoy the calmness and views. wifi, cable tv (ipl matches) available. please do not watch news channels and spoil your holiday. 🙏. some info for those visiting kashmir- please ensure that you have post paid sim cards. pre paid cards do not work. also book online in advance for gulmarg cable car rides.. balcony view- chinar resort, pahalgam. special mention to lateef ahmed dar from front office department

"they have beautiful rooms with centralized ac and a heater which you can manage yourself. This was the best part of the stay, as it was -2 to -3 degrees outside and the room heater was a saviour for everything we needed. Additionally, they serve delicious food, and their breakfast spread and dinner buffet are something you shouldn't miss. Restaurant staff, aaqib shah, u mar rasool and musharraf service were the best. This place is highly recommend. Note: it's 10km before pahalgam. Not that it matters much but something every guest should know. Don't think twice to book this place.

It was good experience with china r resort. Stay is comfortable, food is good and hygiene staff of The Chinar Resort and Spa is very friendly and supportive only drawback is little far for market but location and view is really good. When we check in and requested for upgrade they said no, but after some time other people enter they have given free upgrade when i ask reason they said they booked through other agent. Gm is good and gave us good discount on food my experience is best and definitely recommend for others to stay

My review 1) location: very good. View of the property and also from the property were very nice. It’s just quite outside of pahalgam limits. 2) stay: welcome drink kahwa was good. Staff was courteous. Rooms were cozy. Property was comfortable. The lobbies on all floors played music which was very good touch. Good hot water just it took some time to start. 3) food: taste was good. Service was also fairly good. But the menu was quite limited- not many options and but on higher price side.

We stayed in china r resort for 2 days. The The Chinar Resort and Spa has picturesque location amid-st lush green pine trees, snow capped mountains and fresh flowing lidder river away from city in an peaceful location. From our room the view was spectacular. The staff were very courteous, humble and helpful especially mr owais was brilliant! the rooms were complimentary upgraded and were very clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast and dinner were very tasty and hygienic.

Clean rooms, little outside the pehelgam city which makes it less noisy and you can enjoy the view and relax. However, restaurant wise, they don't make the actual dish which the menu says. We ordered the English fish n chips, they provided fish fries and when asked, they say that's how they make it in kashmir. Apart from that, services and everything is impressive and they are flexible according to the guests.

It had a pleasant experience at chinar. Room size was big enough and had a great view of mountains and valley. It was clean however door locks and interiors needed some repair work. Staffs were very helpful and caring. Food quality was good but they can add more options at buffet. It is almost 6-7 kms away from the main pahalgam market or taxi stand so you always need to get some transport to reach out there.

Awesome property and amazing view. They upgrade my room to luxury suite. Rooms were very clean with all facility specially to mention aashiq, suhail, jabbar, lateef, dar who made our visit gery pleasent with all due care and comfort thanks.

Excellent property, courteous staff, excellent hygiene and cleanliness, though limited variety but excellent breakfast and dinner buffets. Overall an excellent value for money, highly recommended

Excellent view, a little away from the market, but the The Chinar Resort and Spa will arrange for local taxis to go to all the main points. The view the resort has from its rooms is awesome, the rooms are clean and spacious and the dinner and bfast buffet is reaaonable

Nice room, but room size small compare to room charges. Exhaust fan should be in washroom

Excellent hospitality. Staff is very cooperative and kind specially azeem, sameer, mudassir.

Loved the views great in cleanliness. Linen and towels were at par with 5 star. The food was great. The only issue was the in room service as this would take forever. That’s why a star less. Otherwise just the sound of the lidder river below was like music to the years.

The The Chinar Resort and Spa is situated near nature and it is a quite spot. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The food was nice and worth the price. Overall, i would recommend this The Chinar Resort and Spa to others who want to enjoy nature and not want the noise of the cars.

The staffs were very well behaved. The rooms were clean and the check in was smooth. The food was awesome and they had variety of meals in their buffet. A good stay overall. The only con is the price which is a bit on the higher side. The location is also good with lidder river flowing through it's back.

High standard The Chinar Resort and Spa with a beautiful view. It has both river and mountain view. Rooms are very well maintained with good ambiance. But ordered food to room, it's pathetic quality. So go out n eat or book package meals. No nearby food places to eat as it's bit away from pahalgam but that's the beauty of this The Chinar Resort and Spa.
