The Cliff Resort Munnar

You don't need to go anywhere for sightseeing in Munnar if you are staying here. Its above 5500 feet and gives you highest view of Munnar. Also service is very good, staff is very professional yet very considerate. Even kids enjoy a lot here. Little bit safety measures are required from parents as well as management side for child safety but that comes under accidental precautions and not any mistake or mismanagement. Food is really yum and chef seems to be very much professional. They know what they are cooking and they do it with perfection without killing any taste. Kerala parota was amazing. Restaurant staff is really good and considerate. They mingle with kid as a family. Loved the stay and worth of revisiting. Important note - Drive to the The Cliff Resort Munnar is tedious and a rough patch of 4-5 KM. They said road conditions worsened after floods which is understood. And you won't get such a nice view of Munnar without effort anyways.

We stayed there for 2 nights. The The Cliff Resort Munnar is great in terms of stay, cleanliness, and food. The breakfast is buffet (complimentary) and they have good options to choose from. They has English, North Indian, South Indian options. We tried lunch and dinner, and I must say they cook prepares awesome steaks and Stroganoff. One can easily relax there in the lap of nature. Now the drawbacks, the location of the The Cliff Resort Munnar is very remote, and no proper signage is there to locate it. The road to the The Cliff Resort Munnar is worse and bumpy. If you are taking your own vehicle please be extra cautious. The bathroom floor was slippery in the room we were provided. The wi-fi was not strong in the rooms, they were stronger in the restaurant and reception area.

Hotel is located at hill side so you have to drive carefully. Road to the The Cliff Resort Munnar is not good. Tariff is high with respect to the amenities provided. There is no lift in the resort, so please check if you are travelling with senior citizen. Staff was kind and humble. Room was big enough and the view was mesmerizing. Just sit at the balcony and feel the freshness of the surroundings. We are welcomed with a welcome drink. There are frogs in the toilet seat which is irresponsible behavior towards guest. Food was good but the service was slow. We asked to make food non spicy but they make it spicy. We visited the The Cliff Resort Munnar on our wedding anniversary so while leaving they surprise us by giving gift which is a sweet gesture.

Enjoyed our stay at cliff resort. Postives: great location and views from the room. Breakfast was well laid out with local and continental options. Exceptional staff. Very courteous and polite. Resort offers some great activities around the location. Negatives: some food items are spicy. Like the steak or sizzler. It's in keeping with the local flavours of black pepper, but when asked if it'll be spicy we were told that it won't be spicy. We were 3 guest in a single room. Only 2 towels were placed. Same with coffee cups and glasses. Although this isn't a big red flag, attention to such details will help the resort in getting higher ratings. Summary: all in all i would give it an 8/10. Excellent view of Munnar from your room balcony, you should not miss the sunrise and night view. Some adventure driving to the The Cliff Resort Munnar too. Kerala food was excellent, it is better to avoid sandwiches here.
Excellent room and the best view ever from a The Cliff Resort Munnar room. Kerala food was great and lots of variety. Driving to the The Cliff Resort Munnar was a thriller because of the road condition but it was worth. People who are with less driving experience should opt for a professional driver or take a taxi. The bathroom had all toiletries including razor kit, it was decent if your not brand conscious. Kitchen closes at 9 pm and it would difficult to get food after that time.

The cliff resort is an excellent place to stay. I stayed with my wife and toddler and made it our home for 4 days. The view from the room was incredibly beautiful. The misty valley below with green tea garden as far as can eyes can see. The mountains above with clouds nestled on them. Just sit at the balcony and relax watching the beauty of mother nature. Enjoy a wonderful sunrise and sunset, right from there. The food served is simple and yet delicious. You don’t get a wide variety but it serves the purpose. The staff are courteous and cooperative. I’d certainly suggest this place to anyone visiting munnar.

This The Cliff Resort Munnar is approximately 10 kms from the bus stand and is based on the hills. Balcony view is definitely a breath taking experience and staffs are also pretty courteous. The only problem which we faced was in terms of food. Food could have been little more better and since it is based on the hills one definitely doesn't have an option to go the main market and explore eatable items especially during night. Location and service wise I would definitely recommend this resort and over all stay was pleasant.

The Resort is located at The top of The Cliff, true to its name. The room we stayed in had a wonderful view. Away from The hustle bustle of The City, The Resort provides a serene spot for a quick getaway. The staffs are hospitable. So overall we had a good stay.

Good experience. View was super. Food was excellent. Except chicken.

Really we enjoyed to stay at Cliff Resort. As its name Cliff Resort on Cliff. To reach at Cliff Resort it like adventure, we like breakfast but dinner food was average. Staff behavior good and co-operative. Location is awesome from your room.

A good choice for those who love to enjoy scenic beauty with your stay on a budget. Roads are not good, and we still can enjoy the ride with few hair pin curves (make sure your car has enough ground clearance to tackle the road). Don't expect any premium service or facilities, still you will enjoy the stay.

Resort is located at a very scenic and peaceful area. Hospitality of the staff was good. Perfect place for anyone who wish to relax and have fun from the hectic schedules.

Everything was great, view from garden view room, location, food. Approach Road is bad. Prefer SUV over sedan. Our true got punctured and The Cliff Resort Munnar manager and staff helped us replace with spare wheel. Bonfire arranged and good facilities and service. Recommended.

I really loved staying in this The Cliff Resort Munnar for 3 nights. When you reach the location, you will see the last 2kms is a bit hard to drive. You have to drive at 1st gear. But it is worth it. Food is so expensive. But the quality is fine.
