The food, location, and staff are good, but the cleanliness is not satisfactory.

Had a great stay at Cliff Resort! The location is absolutely beautiful with stunning cliffside views. The room was clean, cozy, and well-kept, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout. Highly recommend for a quiet and scenic getaway

A Magical Stay in the Clouds – Truly Unforgettable! I recently stayed at this beautiful resort in Munnar for 3 days, and I must say—it was an absolutely breathtaking experience. Nestled in the lush green mountains, the location is serene and surreal, with clouds literally floating right in front of your eyes. It felt like living in a dream! I opted for a garden-view room, and it was simply perfect—spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a touch of nature in every corner. A special shoutout to Chef Jijesh for the incredible food. The fish curry was nothing short of exceptional—one of the best I’ve ever had. Every meal was delicious, and the breakfast spread was top-notch with so many varieties to choose from. Truly satisfying! If you’re looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy nature’s beauty at its best, this resort in Munnar is the place to be. Highly recommended—I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The location is great, in terms of the view and peace and queit it offers. It is also close enough to major tourist attractions and activities. The food and services are excellent, with welcoming and courteous staff.

resort located at highest peak in munnar, with amazing views. property has all the gaming activities like chess, TT, Foose ball, carrom etc. Food was delicious and staff was very polite and helpful.

Location is topnotch...unbeatable site. complimentary breakfast was good. nice hospitality...play area can be much better. washrooms are not that perfect clean. All rooms including garden view has good view. The road to the resort is quite steep...need experienced driver..

Very good stay and tasty food, resort is placed in an area where you can relax in calm atmosphere with no disturbance of city life. Valley view rooms are good for balcony views, very good polite and supportive staff also, overall a nice stay with my family

Cliff resort is located in a 5500 ft from ground level, surrounded by rolling hills and verdant tea plantations. The journey to the resort itself is a visual treat, with winding roads and breathtaking views at every turn. Upon arrival, i was immediately struck by the resort’s serene ambiance and its harmonious integration with the natural surroundings.

Visited (the cliff resort aka deshadan) from pune in june. This is one of the best resort in munnar, this is the highest resort on a mountain. The fog, greenery & scenic beauty makes this place a perfect option. The best part was the humble and courteous staff! if you are choosing this resort make sure to avail breakfast with stay, the breakfast buffet has a lot of options (both north indian and south indian) daily. Also, don’t forget to carry rain coats & umbrellas while visiting munnar.

Very far off location. Suitable if u want to completely stay in resort and don't want to go out. Completely cut off from munnar. Very narrow hilly road leading to resort, risky driving. I booked garden view room. The open verandah attached to room opened to garden sort which was again open to wild forest. Only protection was glass door, which can be broken and anyone can enter the bedroom. U can choose hill view. No lift. Staff gud. Other things ok.

Excellent resort. Very calm and serene. Courteous and helpful staff. Rooms look bit outdated but the views will make up for it. The mountains view from the room is magnificent. Food is really awesome. Only drawback is the road leading to the resort. Unless you are a skilled driver don't ever bother booking this. Also, there are no lifts, so if you are accompanying senior citizens you should be cautious as they have to climb up and down.

I found this resort through searching makemytrip app. The resort area is very quiet and peaceful. The food served was awesome and fresh. The staff and services were just cool. Rooms were neatly maintained. Best place for family, couples and friends.

It was great stay. Very calm and cool environment. Rooms are big and clean. It is located in hill top. I like the evening bonfire part. Staffs are very helpful and caring.
