The Cocoon

Restaurant service was really poor. Had to wait for some dishes even after placing the order well in advance before going to the restaurant. Breakfast is a mess, they did not know what they were doing. Safety is bad, there are these glass doors on each floors which has open space overlooking the front of the The Cocoon ... Its just a step and one can fall over. There is no railing or protection. We had to tell reception to please lock the glass doors as we had children 5 yrs old and it could be dangerous. Also some of the rooms have balcony kind of opening again with not railing nor barricade. Anyone could tip over and fall ... Has any safety checks taken place of this The Cocoon ??? Rooms were nice clean but safety norms need to be SERIOUSLY LOOKED INTO.

The room booked by us was a non ac room, which as per the location climate was better. The room was good with very clean bathroom too. They provided all basic amenities along with brush, soap, toothpaste and shampoo. The room further had provision of TV, kettle and drinking water. The Cocoon has a ample space for parking. It also has a excellent restaurant with great dishes. I liked Poori bhaji, sandwich for breakfast and non veg platter for lunch. Fair warning that, it will take a Long time to serve The food, so just wait. Everything else was fine.

Only one-word "Awesome". Lovely view from the balcony, sunrise was superb to watch. Only problem is you can't have a deep sleep in morning, cause Azaan starts in the morning 5 & the mosque is just next building to cocoon. Ample parking space behind the The Cocoon, good locality, on the market even. Can drive from The Cocoon to Mah'e and can return back in 4-5 hrs. Overall satisfied with amenities, the restaurant remains open till night 11-1130, so if you reach late also, no worries.

It's a very young The Cocoon ... Good in cleanliness, all rooms are extremely clean and neat may be due to age ... Nice service ... Economical I mean paying near about 2k/night is good enough ... Only con is location ... Away from madekeri ... To reach this The Cocoon you will need your vehicle only ... Also masjid is near to The Cocoon so expect disruption in the morning .. Except location it's prefect choice at the given price.

Very good design in each room ; nice colors theme was followed for each and every room; good bird pictures are added ; hopefully all natural lovers will like to see something related to nature the lights were awesome ; Good food both veg and non - veg; people in reception speak decent English and service. Minus :-it's far from many key places ; They can try and put some green ; they can go for small tress.

This The Cocoon in on the main road, location is good, key places like Coorg, Nagarhole national park are very near from this place. Room was very decent with all the facilities available. Staff was very helpful. There is also a basement to park your park without worries. There is also a restaurant above the The Cocoon. It was a good stay. I would recommend this The Cocoon to people visiting Coorg

Good clean, big room with proper ac working. Good restaurant called spice rack available on the same building which provides good hygienic food. But 2 things to be improved was wifi was working but with no internet during the whole stay and also tv was working but due to no internet as well as no subscription renewal, tv channels were not available.

The place was beyond expectations. Cleanliness to the core. Excellent food, to match your palate. A wonderful service. Recommend to give a try to stay.
Needs fumigation, we had spoken to the person in the reception in morning. We would appreciate if you could put a shower screen in the bathroom. Please put water absorbing type of door mats.

Courteous staff, clean and spacious rooms, well equipped rooms, room services were good. Breakfast was not up to the mark. I would rate 5/5 in all departments. Designing of the room is nice with contrast painting

It was the excellent stay at the cocoon. The staff and managers were very nice to there job. And helpful in a ways and the food was good. But the most, I liked is the interior of rooms and the cleanliness. Good experience at Coorg to stay at the cocoon.

Nice & clean rooms with decent food and everything in budget.

Awesome room and superb service.

Though it is bit far from City center is best place to stay specially if your travelling from Mysore, clean rooms and the location is just beside the road so it's very easy to locate, friendly staff, they have in house restaurant which serves good food.

Good location and rooms. Rooms are spacious. Bed sheets and blankets were not clean.
