The Corner Courtyard - A Boutique Hotel

I just happened to book this property over Hotel Kenilworth. While both these properties are different than each other, I must say CC left me pleasantly surprised . The only reason to book initially was the 4 Poster bed and the traditional feel of the place . But once I checked in, I was in awe of the property . One off Restra, great interiors, the connection with the old building & how it was done up, fantastic room with mini balcony (no great view though but you can use it), terrace restra with greens, delicious food! For the value, it's apt. A dime or so lesser, would have been better though . Nonetheless, recommended if you ask me.

PROS: Eye opening Indo-Colonial decor with Bengali touch. 2-Couple friendly The Corner Courtyard - A Boutique Hotel. 3-Room has all the amenities including fridge. 4- Courteous staff. CONS: 1- Free or complimentary breakfast very poor.. From a list of 5 items, they provide only one so my suggestion, don't book room with complimentary breakfast. It's just a waste of money. Better have it from outside. 2- During a heavy down pour rain water made its way into the room. But room service came and mopped it when we complained.

Pros- conveniently located close to almost all major sightseeing points, amazing ambiencentre and super awesome food. Cons- common area can be more clean. It is basically a restaurant with staying option, restaurant doesn't serve Indian food, No parking (those with vehicle check with The Corner Courtyard - A Boutique Hotel) Even though we booked for 2 adults and a kid with Complimentary breakfast we were asked to pay for our kids breakfast on first day.

Located at just the perfect corner, the property will transport you to a bygone era. A heritage bungalow with matching decor and furniture, you are sure to feel regal during your stay there. The cafe downstairs not only serves delicious continental food but also pleases your aesthetic sense. It just requires a little bit of painting (work is going on apparently) and then it is going to be just perfect. Highly recommend it.

I think the weather added to the beauty of this charming little corner in kolkata. The corner courtyard is where i chose to stay with my partner when we wanted a getaway within the city. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, the room was gorgeous and the surprise element is the top terrace. The complimentary breakfast menu can be more diverse, i feel. However, if you stay here, you're sure to have a good time

Really great quality food, breakfast. Would be great if they make it clear that one can select one dish from the breakfast menu and one from the beverage. Dish tv they did not manage to keep it charged. That's a little strange. I asked for iron to press my cloth and they did not have it. It's a beautiful locality, nice place to stay but these little services do matter for travellers. Thank you.

The location was nice and the food was also good. Would love to stay at this place again. The staff was very polite and even the theme of the The Corner Courtyard - A Boutique Hotel was also good. The market was very near to the The Corner Courtyard - A Boutique Hotel and even the The Corner Courtyard - A Boutique Hotel has its cab facility which was very convient for a solo traveller like me.

The feel of the place is different from all the The Corner Courtyard - A Boutique Hotels that you would come across. The location is great with nice cafes in the vicinity and right there on Saratbose road. The rooms are clean while giving the interiors an antique feel, the ambience is soothing and the staff polite. Its a must visit, be it a leisure or a business trip.

The ambiance was really amazing. It was great to experience the combination of good old Indian classic interior with such great continental food and other cuisines. It was a good stay Looking forward for a next visit.

It was a nice stay. Food quality is good. Staff's hospitality is good.

The Hotel is affordable, well located, and beautiful. Its A small cozy Hotel with A vintage feel and look and perfect for couples who are in Kolkata for A short visit. The breakfast is not A buffet but A choice menu. Overall, The stay was comfortable and pleasant.

I stayed at the corner courtyard for a week, in the ivory room, and i had a great experience. The room gets a lot of sunlight, plus, there's access to the open terrace.

Beautiful property, very well located, spacious rooms very quaint. Excellent staff. Only downside is limited kitchen capacity, so orders, especially breakfast takes some time

The good staff. The staff are very obliging and helpful. Feels like home away from home. Good food. The bad side, the room needs renovation and has a little bit of worn outlook.
