The Cottage Nigeen | Rooms & Caretaker

We stayed in this beautiful garden cottage for 2 nights. The cute interiors, meticulous design, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean room made us feel at home. The hosts were very welcoming and ensured all safety measures for covid 19 were followed. The location is walkable from nigeen lake and many eat out options nearby ( good places to have shwarmas. Breakfast and dinner is available on request. We had a lovely kashmiri style dinner. To us the cottage nigeen was the perfect and affordable stay in the heart of srinagar.

Had The best time ever at Cottage Nigeen. The Cottage is just a minute's walk away from The peaceful Nigeen Lake. The hosts were very friendly and helped us throughout our stay with tips and suggestions. The gardens surrounding The Cottage and calming and give you a relaxing experience. Overall, I would say I would love to go back to this place again.

Its a clean, decently located property run by a family. They are sweet and nice and staff too makes effort to be thier professional best, though it obviously lacks ammenities of a The Cottage Nigeen | Rooms & Caretaker, so dont expect much on that front. Overall pleasant experience, for one time.

Very beautiful, neat house. The hostess and staff are very warm. Even the pictures can't frame how absolutely well kept the house is. My personal favourite has been the study room with lots of books. I stayed only for a night but definitely staying here again if i'm traveling to srinagar again.

The property is one the best maintained at the nigeen lake area. Excellent home styled food which is actually more than adequate for 2 people for price. Special mention is the hospitality that the host offers. Very warm hospitality and i recommend this place for family

The property in a located in a secluded part of the city. It's maintained well and clean. The food that is cooked here is delicious. The host was very welcoming. In all i. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, calm and cosy place.

I had a very pleasant stay at Cottage Nigeen. The hostess was very friendly and The whole place felt like home with excellent service and amazing food. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who wishes to have a very peaceful stay in Srinagar.

Really beautiful house, service did not seem to be too great considering it was a homestay but it is all worth it considering the beautiful home. The location is really far from main spots to visit which is difficult thing

Hotel location was good but owner continuously bothering for Corona documents.

While making booking it was mentioned they served no dinner but in reality dinner was served. In addition to this the room charges is but no good facilities like resorts. Improvement is required.

Location is not much good, entrance road is not enough wide, proper board of property is not conveniently visible
