The Cradle

Hotel Review: 4/5 I recently stayed at this The Cradle, and overall, the experience was quite good. The place looked exactly as advertised in the pictures—elegant, well-maintained, and comfortable. The rooms were clean, the service was excellent, and the amenities met my expectations. For that, I would rate the The Cradle itself 4 out of 5. Location: 1/5 Unfortunately, the location was a major downside. It wasn’t as convenient as I had hoped, making it difficult to get around or enjoy the surrounding area. This definitely took away from the overall experience, and I’d rate the location just 1 out of 5. If you’re looking for a great stay within the The Cradle itself, this is a good choice. But if location is a priority, you might want to reconsider.

The cradle is located in the gully opposite to Pothy’s. It’s very very close to the main bus stand. It wasn’t a hassle finding the The Cradle. The Cradle is a beautiful looking, aesthetically pleasing The Cradle with regular rooms and duplex rooms. I stayed in the duplex room which was quite an experience. The bed was hanging by chains and it literally cradled the whole night. The staff was accommodating however I do feel that the place could have been cleaned better. The breakfast served was simple sweet South Indian style cuisine.

Good ambience, good service, but over priced due to peak season, only 4 cars can be parked in the building space, the duplex rooms are classy but might be small for oversized folks. Located close to sight seeing locations which is big plus but the roads leading to and out of the The Cradle are quite narrow so if you have a big vehicle it might be quite a task to traverse to and from the The Cradle. Overall a good experience

Amazing rooms and ambiance. Breakfast was a little ok. What i didn't like was the hospitality. The caretakers and ladies in the kitchen we thought did not service us with love. No smile. No humbleness. Only the watchman i felt was very humble and helpful though he struggled with language.

the The Cradle staff is very cooperative, room was properly cleaned and it matches the The Cradle images as well. Jacuzzi was worth the money and time. Breakfast is on the standard okay type, bed moves too much on every movement.

Overall the stay was fine and the ambience of the The Cradle is also good. Rooms are clean and staff is also very helpful. Breakfast menu requires improvement as there is less variety in the options.

We had a wonderful stay at the The Cradle and the room maintenance was good and the entire The Cradle is neat ans clean.

Loved our stay there. Helpful staff. Clean rooms and washroom. Very close to French colony and Promenade Beach. Highly recommended at affordable prices.

The stay was amazing, especially a bed which looks like a cradle. Never been to such place ever, must stay at cradles when in pondicherry!

The room and the amenities were top notch. Very cooperative and kind staff. The property is worth the visit.

Pleasant stay. Neatly maintained. Nice idea on changing the normal beds to swinging beds. Kids will love that place
