Athiva Resort & Spa, Khandala

Stay and room was good but not all facilities (eg gym) were open. Additional, staff felt undertrained. Food menu was widespread but quality was not the best. Feels like the place is still trying to find its feet.

family of 4 stayed in valley sit out. pros: amazing location, well maintained 5* resort. room is big. service is amazing. both dinner and breakfast had lot of variety. staff is courteous. cons: I think valley view rooms are better as those have better valley view than 'valley view with sit out' rooms. sit out has nice garden but people pay more for better view. I booked the room on the spot and they took 45 mins in formalities which might be finished in 15 mins Max. Also, they don't bother to educate you about the resort and facilities. you have to keep them asking else u may loose the compliments resort offer. Price wise it is on higher side as half of the resort is under maintenance and many things are not working like there is no games room and equipment's are rusted.

Amazing location, spacious rooms with amazing view, amazing team (very humble and cooperative), amazing service. Food is ok, not bad but has lot of scope to improve its spread, taste and quality. This is important if they want repeat customers. Senior citizen friendliness needs to be done on priority at room level for each category. One cant treat them with seperate isolated rooms.

One of the best experiences ever. Super luxurious hotel, courteous and empathetic staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, especially as we were accompanied by a small child and senior citizens. Food is outstanding. The views are the best that any hotel offer in Khandala. Definitely coming back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Athiva Resort, Khandala! The service and hospitality were excellent throughout. Our valley view room was beautifully renovated and offered stunning views. The Italian restaurant, Panorama, is a must-try — it overlooks the cliffs, and we were lucky to spot a waterfall since the rains had just stopped. Breakfast at the Indian restaurant was equally delightful, with a great variety of options. We also enjoyed some really good cocktails at Duke’s Bar. Overall, a perfect weekend getaway — highly recommended!

We have booked Dukes retreat for 2 days , stay was very comfortable , location of resort is very convenent who travel from mumbai, room are cosy , neat & clean, food is fine not that great but staff is very polite , courteous. I would definitly like to visit again.

The Dukes Resort suggested by MMT Lux is really fabulous. In the heart of Lonavala vally, calm place to stay for weekend as it's near to town like Mumbai/Pune. Food was delicious, in variety and healthy too. It does mention the calories portion of food. Also enjoyed the indoor activities and other complementary activity like horse riding. Overall my family enjoyed it a lot 🙂

Duke’s is ideal to soak up the stunning views of the Khandala Valley , food is always amazing and the rooms offer a picturesque view of the valley.

The stay was no doubt in a beautiful location but it was under renovation..the main discomfort was,stay was in different building and rest everything like pool,restaurants and even hi tea was in another building..To travel everytime for everything was not comfortable..And the main thing..we went to have spa but apparently spa needs to be booked earlier only..It was no where mentioned..we went to book and was being told there are no slots available..we requested a lot but in vain..Then I asked if head spa or foot spa any mini service is available or not, they said 30 mins massage is available nothing after that because they have clients and because of renovation, rooms are limited..I did 30 mins massage and came out quickly because they said they have clients..but I could see no one..No one came after me..the spa room was vacant,the therapist was also vacant..I was there waiting for my friend for more than an hour and no body came..Which told me that they simply didn't wanted to do full time massage..they might have agreed for half an hour's session because it was comparatively costlier than that of full body massage..I felt like I was cheated..The only purpose of me booking Duke's resort was to have spa...I wanted to enjoy that...but they didn't let me..I might not go there because of this.. Rest everything specially the staff who showed us around and took us to the room named Anshita from Kerala was very sweet..She did her duty with a smile on her face always..

Amazing Location. Checked in at 2 pm and felt it’s just a normal resort but the whole scenario changed at around 4 pm. The complete property was covered in fog, beautiful place with modern amenities only drawback is the cost of food rest everything are excellent.

Property was amazing with good view for Valley view room and the sit out was great experience especially while it rains and the fogs. Food was amazing we had dinner as well as breakfast.. the quality was quite visible. Facilities completely 10/10, with no complaints at all,

Everything was excellent, starting with a welcome, greeting by their staff, ambiance at the entire resort... The swimming pool is the main attraction .. water was the best... really enjoyed the Jacuzzi .. The rooms are so specious & clean... the view from the room and restaurant was amazing... so overall it was a memorable visit.. Thanks to The Dukes Retreat Team
