The Dukes Retreat, Khandala

We recently had the pleasure of staying at dukes retreat resort in khandala, maharashtra, from april 11th to april 13th, and it was truly a memorable experience for our family of three. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality that set the tone for our entire stay. The spacious rooms provided us with ample space to relax and unwind, ensuring a comfortable stay for both adults and our energetic 5-year-old daughter. The courteous staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. One of the highlights for us was the excellent food served at the resort. Each meal was a delightful culinary journey, offering a variety of dishes to suit every palate. The dining experience was truly a highlight of our trip. Moreover, the resort's play area for kids was a hit with our daughter, providing her with endless entertainment and opportunities to make new friends. Additionally, we appreciated the numerous nearby attractions, including a stunning sunset point, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Despite ongoing renovations at the property, we were pleasantly surprised by the minimal inconvenience thanks to the efficient management by the staff. It's a testament to their dedication to ensuring a seamless experience for guests. In conclusion, our stay at dukes retreat resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm hospitality to the delicious food and ample amenities for families, it exceeded our expectations in every way. The The Dukes Retreat, Khandala staff is very courteous. They have limited menu in restaurant but best part is chef is open to make the food as per your choice if the dish is not in menu. We requested for dishes outside the menu in lunch & dinner and were done happily by the staff. Food taste is great. We requested for room decoration for my wife's birthday but due to some error in system a smaller category room was allotted to us with room decoration. On my highlighting this mistake the front desk staff immediately did the correction and got the room decoration done again in the new room allotted during our high tea. The dukes retreat is located on a cliff with amazing views. Their rooms are top notch, tastefully decorated & super clean! excellent customer service & very helpful & polite staff. The The Dukes Retreat, Khandala just underwent a major refurbishment so their lifts were not in operation during our stay. Upon request they happily moved us to an upper floor. Thank you team dukes retreat for this awesome experience.

Service : the staff was attentive, friendly, and professional, making guests feel welcomed and well-cared for. Ambiance :the environment was warm and inviting, with a pleasant atmosphere that enhanced the dining experience. Cleanliness :the venue was clean and well-maintained, reflecting high standards of hygiene. Efficiency :service was prompt and efficient, with minimal waiting times for orders.

Dukes retreat is place at one of the most convenient location. Easily accessible and can reach there quickly, be it from pune or mumbai. It also has rooms with one of the most beautiful views. As the whole property is just renovated, the new rooms are superb and comfy. Staff is cordial and provided a very good service. Food is also good, no complaints there. It was a very good experience.

We had visited dukes retreat between 8 th to 10 th january 2025. It was a special occasion. We had stayed in the valley view room with a sit out excellent clean rooms, tasty cuisine and wonderful staff. Special mention of sankat, bid-ya and ranjan. The The Dukes Retreat, Khandala is in superb location. But the The Dukes Retreat, Khandala is under renovation. Movements and activities are limited. It's not a cost worthy stay to a great extent. But the staffs are very polite and helpful.

Nicely made up. Still holds the old duke's resort charm. Very good food. Nice management. The 31st party was well organized. Nice food, dj and music

As was made known in reviews before booking, the property is undergoing renovation. Gym, lifts are not operational. However the hospitality, food, rooms were top notch.

The rooms have great view of the khandala hills. Valley view rooms. Very good service from the staff.

It was a pleasant stay at Dukes however they are going through a massive makeover which is why most amenities are not available. Having said that the staff and food was very good 👍extremely warm staff overall
