Peaceful hotel near the beach

Located a bit away from the main ST stand of Guhagar. Hotel has clean rooms. The room set up single, double bed air conditioned rooms or a large room which can house 4 beds with air conditioning. The The Durga Pearl Niwas provide towel and soup. When we visit, the sheets and pillows were clean and smelt fresh. The only let down was the food, for lunch and dinner. A thali system is offered. We confirmed the contents of the thali which changed (reduction in item) e.g sweet was included when we ordered and was charged extra. By the way, food is average with service being lethargic. Non veg thali with odd cut of chicken (mostly neck pieces) not sure which chicken. Chapati and rice. No dal. Sweet charged extra. All in all not worth the bucks. Hotel has parking with the premises and in front. Guhagar is a peaceful place. There is path to the beach near the The Durga Pearl Niwas. A good place for a short break. Thanks, Kevin.

The location of the durga pearl is gr 8 as it is just a few steps away from guhagar beach and the durga devi temple. The room, cleanliness, tea and breakfast. Everything was satisfactory. The helping nature of the owner mr. Akshay ravindra k hare was praiseworthy. The booking process with mm t was nice and easy. Thnx mm t for this comfortable stay.

The The Durga Pearl Niwas was neat, clean and tastefully maintained. It is next to a pristine beach, surrounded by coconut trees. The owners treats you like their personal guests. Highly recommended for smart and frequent vacattioners.

Excellent place to stay if you want quiet, peaceful and near to Beach. They prepare very good, tasty and hygienic food. Owner is extremely polite. It is highly recommended to stay at Durga Pearl if you ever visit Guhagar.

Hotel durga pearl has built 4 new cottages in 'wadi' few years back. Cottages are excellent. Very courteous owners. Always there to help you. We request little more hyegine in the kitchen area.
