The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa

I am happy that I choose to stay at Elgin Nor-Khill for my visit to Gangtok. Its a wonderful 4 star boutique property, offering very well made rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a spa, well-maintained garden with sitting option and helpful staff. The property reminded me of the past colonial era with its architecture and interior. Pluses: 1. Best location, right off the mall road. A walk of 5 minutes and you are right at the Mall Road. 2. Spacious and comfortable room. 3. Spa is very good and the placement of spa in the property is also nice. 4. Great helpful staff, always ready to go out of the way to help. 5. Restaurant offers fixed buffet for all meals but chef is ready to make anything else also if you request. Anyways the food is delicious. Minuses: 1. Washroom is little cramped and shower in my room was not working properly (Room No. 302). Swimming pool is missing otherwise it would have been a complete bliss. Rest everything was comfortable and this The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa is definitely worth the money and probably the best option to stay in heart of Gangtok.

Elgin surely takes pride in the rich history that comes along with the property, there are multiple artifacts along the lobby to help us understand. The property overlooks a football stadium, also giving us a glimpse to the snow capped Himalayas. Perfect place to unwind, sipping beautiful floral teas, enjoying the perfectly maintained garden. The staff is quite attentive and professional, ready to help you with questions related to the property or suggest the local things one should try. Special mention to the dog on the property, a super friendly samoyed who likes to nap in the shade.

Hi, the The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa could provide tamil/telugu regional chanels to facilitate for south indian travellers once the food with egg on morning breakfast was not upto the mark and lead to slight stomach upset it looks the guy on the reception not a genuine guy, he wanted us to pay by cash only although he had the facility to swipe the card, the reason behind he had taken some extra amount from the travel driver who took us around otherwise the The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa was very good and good comfy

Out of the The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spas in Gangtok, this is a definitely a decent option. There is not much view from most of the rooms. We travelled during off season and therefore we got a decent discount on the rack rate. At full price, however, it is an expensive option. The The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa does not provide WiFi in the rooms and the signal strength is quite poor in the lobby as well. The food is average and so the package including all meals can be avoided.

I stayed in this The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa for 3 days. Needless to say it was nice stay, food quality was good, food wise( quantity) it is much better than the elgin, darjeeling. The chinese/continental dishes are way more better than the indian dishes. Manager mr. Bass was really helpful. But one important thing i must say, we missed the lovely piano tune here in gangtok. The darjeeling branch arranges some elegant piano play during dinner and which was very nice.

Since you always have to be on your toes to cover places in gangtok, this is the best The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa to stay. The staff is very courteous and the food is exotic. Most luxurious The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa in the price they offer. They have a lovely garden where you can spend time of not out travelling. Also the The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa is near to the mg road and other tourist spots. Dnt think twice. Just book it.

The staff and the The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa is really classy. They have maintained the property well and one is happy to pay the price, well worth it. Potentially the best The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa in Gangtok. As quick stroll up the hill, you reach the famous MG road. Also from the beautiful lawns you get to see the Kanchenjunga Range. Would love to go back there.

If your idea of staying close to where the action is then the Nor Khill is your kind of place. Situated bang opposite and above the Palzor stadium, the The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa is located in a quiet part of the city. Rooms are OK, but the bathrooms were quite small and cramped. The USP of this place though is the staff. Excellent service and very attentive to the customer.

I stayed for two nights with Elgin nor-khill Gangtok. What a The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa It's a guest house of the king of ancient Sikkim... Lots of portraits on the walls... Superb maintenance... View from the garden is stunning. Staff are so friendly that they even served dinner to my room. Food is just awesome..Overall, it's an awesome experience with elgin. Loved the location of the The Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort & Spa it’s right next to mg road, the shopping lane. The food is delicious and the decor of the lobby and rooms is just stunning! the staff is very friendly. View from the rooms is not good but from the lawn area it’s great! loved hilt-on the serbian dog too!
