The Elms Thekkady

Hi. This is our first trip to thekkady. On our first day we got call from resort before check in time and they confirmed our arrival. Also we came to know that there is an grape garden on the way to spend some nice time. This place we came to know through resort staff. After reach the resort our entry starts with an welcome drink. Next coming to the main point about our room. Actually we stayed in the room name root. It is a basic non a/c room. Room is clean and neat with comfort bed, tv, wifi facility, room service, complimentary tea powder, sugar and kettle to make hot water, morning complimentary cake, biscuits and tea/coffee. Regarding food they don't have dinning hall, so outside food is allowed. We got food through near by restaurant by single call. It was arranged by the resort staff. Power cut happened in mid night but resort have backup facility so there is no worry on that. Two cars we can park in front parking portion of resort. Room cleanliness - 5/5 room service - 5/5 room space - 4/5 we got discount voucher for elephant junction ride through resort and they guided me the nearest tourist spots and how we have to reach and the package details. Manager of this resort is good man of gem. During our stay he cared and arranged all things with smiley face. Even we didn't asked that man's name. Thank you gentlemen. Resort attender is also gud by providing every thing in just a call. Only negative thing i can say is dinning hall and inside kitchen is missing so if it is available for food it will be nice. So pols look in to that point to arrange the same in future. Totally it's worth for money. Resort is located in town junction so it is easy for us to access every tourist places. Sure we will recommend the elms thekkady for your comfort and budget friendly stay.

Property location is wonderful. Staff was welcoming and helpful and courteous. Though it is homestay but the property owners provide assistance like a The Elms Thekkady. morning tea and muffins were complimentary. rooms are sufficiently spacious and beautifully designed with windows beautiful view of garden. though bed is sufficiently spacious for couple it is difficult to sleep with a 2 year old. TV with premium subscription was a nice touch. tea was good. this property provides good information for restaurants and helps in booking tickets for tourist spots etc. Kitchen facility is really functional though the same is accessible through staff only. good restaurants are all within walking distance. it was excellent experience.

Found on mm t search. Stay was excellent with good service from The Elms Thekkady staff. Walkable distance to boat parking. Though there was no inhouse restaurant, they arranged breakfast and was good. Room quality was excellent as it looked like a new property. Parking was a bit challenging with a steep climb. Overall, i liked the property and i recommend it for a budget stay in a prime location.

Room was really neat and clean. Everything was really nice. But the bed size is small it should be large. And the rate of the room is very high compare to other The Elms Thekkadys. They didnt provide breakfast in this price range. But other The Elms Thekkadys are more cheaper than this The Elms Thekkady. Otherwise room and hospitality was good.

The property is one year old. Properly maintained. It was peaceful for the bikers and their families. The staff are friendly. I stayed here for three nights. For authentic food, i preferred periyar cafe for its value, quality, and service. I truly enjoyed it. The ksrtc bus stand, restaurants, periyar office, and parking lots are all close. Done

The stay was excellent. The property is very close to main attraction centers. The room was very clean and well maintained. The staff were very polite and was very helpful in guiding us about the different tourist places and activities. I would recommend anyone to book this place without second thought.

Beautiful property at city centre. All attractions and restaurants are at walking distance. Had a chance to meet property owner, lady with beautiful nature. Property manager always ready to assist. All in all perfect stay if in Thekkady 😊😊

The stay is decent for the price. There is no air conditioning in the root room, so be cautious in summers, not sure about the others. The person at the reception is quite welcoming and helps in a lot of things, taking efforts on his own.

A simple but very elegant property very near both entry gates of periyar vayana and bamboo groove highly recommended for the comfortable stay and because of the very helpful host- mr dennis

Elm’s was a great find in budget. Clean and helpful staff and location is next to the Periyar Reserve tourist information centre.

Had a pleasant stay. The person in the The Elms Thekkady front desk was very supportive.

The stay was very nice, and the host was super friendly and helpful. Also the stay is near the periyar tiger reserve entrance, so easy accessibility to most of the nearby attractions.

Very good homestay, care taker is very pleasant and supportive, food is not available, rooms are very neat and clean, very good ambience, top class maintenance
