The Fern Samali Resort

Property’s location is very good and beautiful in lush green and serene location far away from city noise. Food was also good with lots of variety. Room service was prompt. Neat and clean property. Reception staff needs to be more courteous to the guests arriving and departing.

We stayed at this property for two nights along with a family friend. While the property looks beautiful from the outside and offers a nice view, our overall experience was quite disappointing, especially considering the Fern brand’s reputation. The room condition was poor — it was neither neat nor clean. The washroom had a strong unpleasant odor, the curtains and bed sheets were dirty, and the furniture appeared old and poorly maintained. The restaurant experience was even worse. The food quality was extremely poor across all meals — lunch, dinner, and breakfast. We tried fish dishes that were not fresh and lacked proper Malvani or Konkani flavors. Even the Chinese food was below average; it seemed like the chef was not trained to prepare it properly. Many guests, including us, complained and returned their food, but the staff and managers didn’t take our feedback seriously. On the second day, even basic items like cold drinks were unavailable due to no stock. The property is located far from nearby shops (about 4–5 km), which makes this even more inconvenient. Overall, our stay was very disappointing and completely spoiled my wife’s birthday celebration. Despite raising our concerns multiple times, no action was taken, nor was any gesture of goodwill or discount offered. We truly regret choosing this property and would not recommend it to anyone.

Excellent service, good Experience, courteous staff. The room upkeep can be improved a little more. But cleanliness was good. Property upkeep was good. Food quality very good, but local flavours were missed... overall very good experience..

Service provided was not good, we asked for a extra pillow and a comforter as we had a 7 month old to protect the bed from falling but was questioned as they had already give when we explained they said ok but gave us a bed sheet instead of a comforter and no pillow asked again for the pillow then they gave us, dis not expected fern to do so as I prefer fern anywhere i go, but will never visit fern

Nestled amidst *acres of lush green property*, this haven is a perfect blend of serenity and luxury. 1. *Greenery & Nature*: The resort boasts stunning landscapes with abundant greenery. 2. *Natural Trail & Nature Walk*: *Nature walk* was incredibly refreshing – it felt like a retreat Kudos to Pooja for her knowledge, love for nature and making this outing an exceptional one . 3. *Bullock Cart Ride*: The *bullock cart ride* was nostalgic – a must-try for anyone seeking rustic charm, and instagrammable too . 4. *Food*: The food at the restaurant Zilhan was *exceptionally good*. 5. *Service*: The *service in the restaurant was very nice* – attentive, warm, and professional. Kudos to the staff for making dining so enjoyable.Thanks to Bubai who relentlessly assisted and served us during our stay . I left feeling refresher and with wonderful memories. If you’re looking for a blend of natural beauty, comfort, and delightful experiences like a *bullock cart ride* , cultural music, diverse activitiee then this resort is a gem

Amazing experience, nice food and very friendly staff . Location and room view are fantastic.

It was an okay experience at this property. While the area is huge, it needs a lot of maintenance. Service is pretty slow (maybe due to staff shortage). Food is average. Buffet options are limited. Property is near to Ladghar beach (but its crowded and smelly). One can visit Tamastirth beach (less crowded and clean). Overall an okayish experience.

The experience at Fern Samali was very good with lush green property, great food and service. There are couple of beaches nearby which are very clean and perfect for sunset. Overall the stay was very good..

The resort is beautiful — lush green, quiet, and nestled in nature’s lap. The staff is friendly and attentive, though they do take a while to complete the service. Still, I think it's perfect for a laid-back holiday. They offer quite a few activities at the resort, but make sure to register for them prior to your visit. The food is good too. Overall, a very pleasant stay

The food was delicious but was cold every time it was brought in the room. Also at the buffet the food was not served hot, and was only mild warm.

Property ambiance is very good calm and composed place. One day is loo lesser time to use amenities over here. Staff is amazing, helpful. Spa is ok..can be better

Food was good. Service was great but Room locks are terrible its a star property need to use professional card locks not old fashioned once and we requested a lot for our pre wedding shoot at least they need to give it complimentary as property was good but they heavyly charged us for that and reception staff was little bit rude. Remaining experience overlall was good.

Stay was super comfortable, it was such an amazing experience with wonderful staff around to address all your needs and guide you around.
