The Fort Ramgarh

The stay was extremely good. Though some areas of fort are undergoing renovation, yet the hospitality of staff etc made our stay comfortable. Excellent food and room facilities were there. Since it is an old fort and antique architecture has not been tampered, this lends uniqueness to The Fort Ramgarh and it's rooms,. Hence we should not look for ultra modern door locks etc. Quality of food and service at restaurant was superb. I have come to know that people come from long distance to dine here. What i missed and would like to suggest that the the antique structures should be preserved at all costs. The tree house, under renovation should be completed fast. The outdoor sports should be reactivated. Indoor billiards room is well lit and maintained properly. Swimming pool is a unique feature with surrounded ambience of a mahal! most important of all, special brochure should be printed for explaining past, historical importance and role of chandels. Each site and hall of fort should have a written frame highlighting the importance of structure. The guide service should be provided. The authorities should remember that a major chunk of clients are attracted to fort ramgarh because of their love and respect for indian culture & traditions. The uniqueness of gate was well highlighted(and its inclusion in limca book of records was also mentioned in a frame. I would suggest management that The Fort Ramgarh is excellent but the historical aspect should be more highlighted more. Thanks and will surely visit again.

Had a good stay over the weekend. We were traveling to chail/dharampur from ggn but we got delayed due to the farmers' protest near karnal. So, we booked this The Fort Ramgarh at the last moment (almost 10 pm in the evening) to stay the night in chandigarh. Very nice property - the lawn area and the grand hall, rolls royce all are quite picturesque. Very polite staff, courteous behavior and prompt service. Rooms were quite nice too (with the royal/old world decor. + this is very near to the highway. i was surprised to see an actual fort so close to the main highway. Not far from sukhna/rock garden/elante either. Would recommend this.

Overall, i had a great experience with the fort ramgarh staff, they were incredibly helpful. Enjoyed my experience over the tallest wooden door, could see the hills which were miles away, crossing the ancient tunnel was a unique experience. Tried my hand on the biggest hand driven fan located in one of the hall’s. The room was good & clean with staff following all the covid sanitization protocols the The Fort Ramgarh has a lush lawn to sit & enjoy the ambience.

Fort Ramgarh gives you that Royal experience which is undescriable. Its good property but for (FAR) location. Kids enjoyed that ROYAL stay experience. Food was delicious. Presentation won the heart even before spoon is dug in. Don't expect run of mill stay experience if you are planning holiday in Chandigarh. WE enjoyed our stay here.

Stay at Ramgarh was like being transported to ancient times with royal feel. The Food also have an antique touch to it. A must visit for History lovers, it was like roaming pages of some historic novel. Our stay was brief, Only one night but we enjoyed the quite and serene feel of the place

Only and purely vegetarian restaurant food quality, verity and service is excellent, room size and ambiance is very good but maintenance is poor, room service attendees are not professional, The Fort Ramgarh is small heritage property but away from City, overall good, value for money.

The thing that impressed me the most is that in spite of being off season and having very sparse occupancy, the The Fort Ramgarh still was clean and reasonably prompt in their service . There was nothing much I could complain about, except that it has just a vegetarian restaurant.

We stayed here for a night in a weekend. The rooms are spacious and good. Food is moderate. Even though there is no such breath taking views from the window, the neighborhood is green and clean. Rooms are well maintained and staff are friendly.

Hotel is situated 21 km from the sector 17 chd... The The Fort Ramgarh is good with clean and decent rooms.. Staff is cooperative.. Overall good experience.. Breakfast was veg only and food was tasty.. Interior of The Fort Ramgarh are royal..

Elite ambience and very good property must visit

Tree house was just a showpiece, not for comfert stay, but feel something sad after extra charge due to overtiming.

Too good facilities are available here. Food facilities are very very good and it's price was also affordable. We felt really comfortable and suitable. Whole staff's nature was very nice.
