Rooms magnificent and huge. If you book king's chamber, 5 adults can stay in that room. If you are taking poet's recluse 4 people can stay in one room. Hence do your booking accordingly. Staff behavior amazing, look for a guy called Shubhojit he is your one stop solution for everything.

The location is a little bit far from the main Shantiniketan area and the neighborhood gets pitch dark after sunset. You can't walk around much but in the Bungalow campus itself which is huge. So if you are interested in visiting all the places in Shantiniketan and want to stay in the central location this is not apt but if you want to spend some quality time with family or friends this is an excellent place with very beautiful garden. They provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So you can stay the whole day in. The Wi-Fi is not that strong though and although the picture of this white vintage building you can also be allotted to rooms in other newly made buildings there. Would recommend carrying mosquito repellent.

Our stay at the garden bungalow was an excellent break from the busy daily life ! we booked our stay in the “king’s chamber”, the rooms provided were quite spacious and well maintained. This villa had an extremely calm relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately the food here is an extreme drawback. I personally didn’t like the food, the menu had limited options too, however they do allow to get food from outside. Most of the staff were quite friendly and professional. We loved the property, extremely beautiful. Will definitely recommend this place and looking forward to visit again in near future.

The property is great. As the owner Mr. Sanjay Bhattacharya himself is a great artist of this country, he has left his touches in decorating this property. All the rooms are very clean, nicely decorated. All the staffs are very much well behaved and helpful in all aspects. Food is very tasty, though the price is a little bit high. But only selective Bengali cuisine is available. It would be great if management can include some other cuisines also. Though the guest can bring or order food for home delivery from other restaurants outside. Over all it was really a great stay for us.

The garden bungalow is a nice heritage kind of property tucked away in the perfect place - not outside town yet not in the hustle and bustle. Its a big property with gardens, lily pools, a lot of trees etc. The rooms are huge and clean. You have air conditioning and satellite tv in the rooms but you dont need them since the property and the surroundings are good to explore. Food is good and tastes like home. And not costly. They even charge the market rate for bottled water which is really great. We went there on 27th dc and stayed for 2 nights. Lovely place overall.

I have visited this The Garden Bungalow | Rooms in a Villa on 14th august, 2020 for one night. The place is bit isolated and quiet, The way I like it. Property is really beautiful with lots of photogenic spots to shoot. A basic hygiene has been maintained. We've subjected to temperature test when we arrived. The room had a stale odour but otherwise clean. Toiletries weren't provided. Rooms are extremely good though. Old furnitures give it a regal look. Food was very average. The taste was not very good. Limited options. Service was good. We liked The tea and snacks.

It was an awesome stay at the The Garden Bungalow | Rooms in a Villa. Location is a bit far from city but will enjoy the ambiance and greenery. Rooms are big and very neat and clean. Home stay staff were very co operative and ready to do serve you. Since its homestay, restaurant is not available but cook will cook whatever you request. Only thing, you have to order in advance as staff has to go to the market to bring stuffs for cooking. Security is good and The Garden Bungalow | Rooms in a Villa manager arranges for toto if you ask for it. overall a 5-star rating.

A stunning property ideal for a family or a group gateway. Gives you the feeling of a haveli with a beautiful garden and old architecture. Deep, subrata, sushanto, saheb (chef) and sujit were exceptional and really took care of us. The food was mind blowing. Chef saheb really is a magical cook and listens to all our instructions when cooking any dish. The mutton curry was out of the world. Overall a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this property to any family/couple or group looking for a break from the madding crowd's ignoble strife.

The property is nestled a bit away from the main city. The buildings and decoration is based on bygone era of zamindar bungalows. Very photographic and greenery all around. Food and service is pathetic. The caretaker is very slow. They told us the dinner will be at 8 pm and it took 9:35 pm for dinner to be served. Quality of food is also average and the choices are limited. Breakfast though complimentary is limited to only luchi alu torkari or bread toast. Come with limited expectations.

The place is excellent staff is extremely cordial and food is like home food.

Away from hustle-bustle, The Garden Bunglow, is a peaceful adobe in lap of nature! It looks royal and ancient from outside and perfectly equipped with all modern facilities inside. The staffs are very cordial and always at your service. You will get variety of Bengali cuisine and the quality is very good. We went for a family vacation and enjoyed every bit here!

Very beautifully designed and maintained bungalow with huge garden. Truly an artists paradise. If you are looking for a peaceful stay in Shantiniketan, truly recommended.

Located in the midst of nature. Garden Bungalow is a place to soothe your eyes and soul. With peaceful surroundings and prompt service, this place is a must stay option in prantik. Mr.Asit Ghosh (manager), was helpful and reachable whenever needed. We really had a pleasant stay. The only part which needs a little improvement is food. More variation needs to be included along with taste.

We spent only one day but was memorable. Dinner wasn't that good but lunch was awesome. Very limited breakfast. Device was good.

Property is extremely classic! the bunglow, the way its decorated, the furnitures used. All of them. However, the host was not there and managing the whole property was left on the guard and 4/5 locals. While all of them were quite nice what they lacked was professionalism. Such huge property with such exquisite bunglows can do a lot more with a little bit of professional touch. After all these are locals they would not know. Also i felt the owner/host should have been present.

We stayed for a night and the experience was quite smooth. The rooms are spacious. The utensils in which they were serving were little unclean. But otherwise good. Property is spacious, has bonfire facility, and big garden.

Rooms are good and food too. Probably can add a few items on menu. All the staffs are very cordial and helpful.

This is an amazing place to stay and very good service and very helpful staff but The food is very limited and price of food is little bit high.
