We stayed here from 4 Dec '17 to 8 Dec '17. We were couples with a kid. This The Girassol Serviced Villa | Rooms & Suites is built up at great location and you can see the view of Chembra Peak from here. Hotel manager was very courteous and time to time he helped us for any issues and information. Also the staff provided good service. They provided 5 star facilities and room was excellent and also room service provided was great. Hotel manager helped us how to travel from Kozhikode to Vythiri and he also talked to the conductor on where to halt. They also provided us with cab facility. So overall it was more than a 5 star experience having homely atmosphere. Breakfast and food is also good. When I was asked about what breakfast we wanted then my reply was traditional Kerala items but some guest wanted other things and for this The Girassol Serviced Villa | Rooms & Suites manager arranged our breakfast at ground floor and not on roof top where the usual buffet is arranged. And then the time came for us to leave at morning 4 AM to catch our train from Kozhikode. Here also staff packed our breakfast and dropped our luggage at the nearby bus stand and they were there till the bus did not reached. Myself and my wife will never forget our stay here. They also helped on what to shop. So as I said again it was a 5 star experience and I recommend Girassol serviced villa to everyone who wants to visit vythiri/Wayanad. Thank You Girassol. Excellent location, calm and peaceful, just off the main highway. Surrounded by greenery! Ideal for those who want peace & quiet. The staff is very polite. The only one point that was sorely lacking is that no other bearer would come forward to help us with our baggage when we just landed (and when we were leaving) besides the one assigned to our room(s). They were standing around and watching us but did not help. This really put me off. I never like people carrying my bags when I am alone but when you are travelling with a family, there is bound to be more luggage. A helping hand is expected especially when travelling with children . The A/C room we booked was too cramped. No side tables to put you baggage on. One tiny table at one end just barely enough to place your laptop on. The bed was very comfortable though . . The taps ran dry every morning we were there and WE had to give a 'wake up' call to the reception to fill up the overhead tanks !. The breakfast was tasty though the spread was too limited even when the The Girassol Serviced Villa | Rooms & Suites was running with sizable occupancy . Lead time for food was a bit long, though they served in good quantities, piping hot . This service villa needs to gear up!

My family was apprehensive at first. Entrance was difficult to locate at night. But once we arrived the manager Mr. Anal and staff were very courteous and helpful. Location is great and even though our room was on the ground floor the view was great. Facilities like ample parking, swimming pool with lounge chairs, 24x7 hot water, roof top restaurant are available and convenient. As they have only about 6 to 7 rooms it is never too crowded. My son loved the place and we had to literally force him from the The Girassol Serviced Villa | Rooms & Suites on our daily sightseeing trips during our 4 day stay. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Also got to meet the owner Mr. Anwar who visits to ensure guests are very satisfied by the amenities.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights @6000+tax/day during dc 25. Weather: no rains, temperatures around 25 degrees. Location: a excellent location, central to other sightseeing spots. Food: only breakfast is available with idly, appam and puttu as options. Other meals have to be ordered for delivery to room. 1 hr delivery time due to peak season. Hygiene: very cleanly maintained property, cordial staff need to be given 10/10. Cons: hot water for bath is a nuisance. You get only 3/4th bucket of hot water. Using shower will leave you with shampoo on your head with cold water.

home stay and don't expect The Girassol Serviced Villa | Rooms & Suites stay. mr vasanth and mr.prem kumar were amazing host. they took care of every guest as their own family members. good swimming pool and they allow you till late night. also they have amazing places for families to enjoy their time together with games and barbeque. mr. prem kumar provided amazing service from providing home cooked breakfast, tea to our rooms, plates and water were brought to our rooms even on late nights. they have an amazing barbeque facility to do your own barbeque.

One of my best stays so far. The rooms and the toilets were very clean. The food was awesome. Above all the courtesy and the humbleness of the staffs and owner were the best. We were a family of 8 with age ranging from 10 to 80 and each of us enjoyed the stay. Well maintained swimming pool, well designed property, location, surrounding views, pets, games items and access from main road adds value for the stay. I would say worth the money spent and would highly recommend people who are looking for a relaxing and an enjoyable stay.

Pros - Located near the entrance of Wayanad, accessible from the road (car needs goes up to 100m or so), the pool was beautiful and well maintained. The rooms were clean. The manager was extremely courteous and helpful. The decor is pretty fancy too. Cons- Was counting on the basic necessities in the washroom but was disappointed. Will be better prepared next time :( The food is typical Kerala food. We had biryani and it was good. Maybe they can expand their menu selection. Overall - 4. 5 /5 Must visit!

Superb location. Rooms were very clean. There was little issue with check-in time. I think it mentioned wrongly on MMT as 2 told it's actually 12 pm). On our request they allowed us to extend our stay for 2 hours for no extra cost. Recommend.. Manager was very polite and quick to address our concerns. Staff was very courteous. Really enjoyed our stay playing foosball and pool with almost no crowd.

This is a good place in Waynad. Amazing food and service. Easily accessible from the highway. Pool could have been cleaner or with less chlorine. All in all we had a pleasant stay for the price paid.

Nice stay at Vythiri. We booked the room for new year night. They have a well maintained pool. The stay is near the main road, but it is a cool and carm property. The staff where very helpful. Food was good.

We stayed here for two days. The stay was very good. They have a nice swimming pool, which is properly maintained. It has a parking space, and the rooms are clean and nice. The staff are very helpful and they always respond in one go. The property has a nice view and restaurants are nearby. Overall highly recommended. If you travel with family or as a group.

Closet not properly cleaned, there is some mark of vomiting food waste inside of closet.
