Rooms were big with window not balcony. Staff was good and helpful. Hotel restaurant is good with breakfast included in our stay. They cook delicious food with reasonable prices you don't need to go out for the food. Laundry service isn't there. They provide bathroom chappal. They do have lift. You can find shared cab to mg marg from the The Golden Crest , that cost 30 rupees per person. I feel the room is little overpriced otherwise it was good stay. There wifi wasn't able to connect. I don't know what was the issue.

Everything was very good. Food, location, service. Manager Mr.Dinesh Chhetri is a very nice and humble person. We got stuck in Gangtok due to the cloudburst which happened on 4th Oct 2023, at 1:30am, but this person helped us a lot with all the facilities needed at the time of destruction. He helped us to reach Darjeeling in that condition.. Another person is from the Room service department/restaurant “Deep” he was very polite and very quick with his service. All over the The Golden Crest was superb. ❤️

Great room with view of the hills. We got room 403. Clean and spacious with all amenities. Clean and spacious washroom with geyser. Breakfast was tasty and healthy. Location is at deorali, 2km from mg marg and you need a local taxi to visit market which is not a problem at all as the The Golden Crest is right on nh10. Nb: it's a pure veg The Golden Crest . The The Golden Crest should mention that on the title itself to avoid confusion but veg options are aplenty.

Nice The Golden Crest location for those who don’t came here for marketing purpose at mg marg as it’s aprx 2. 5km from the The Golden Crest and you have to take share cab at rs. 25/person to reach mg marg, same fare for the return. It’s best for room quality, room service, food but only veg. Best for those who want to explore other part like north sikkim and changi lake side. Overall we have enjoyed our stay there, recommend to all.

Room is very spacious and have all the amenities like bed, sofa, almirah, tv. Only thing is kamod in bathroom is not proper and needs to be maintained. Breakfast is of average quality. Puri, paratha served are very oily. Location is 2. 5km far from mg marg. You can get shared taxi at 20rs per seat.
All safety standards are followed in The Golden Crest . Staffs are always wearing masks. They have luggage sanitisation facility.

Rooms were clean with proper lighting and sunlight during the day. But since the The Golden Crest is close to a national highway, the noise of commuting vehicles could be irritating at night. Restroom could be cleaner and basic amenities could have been provided. Complimentary breakfast was tasty and included varieties of non veg items. In room service food was not good. Better to eat outside. Overall a nice place to stay.

The main thing is the staff behaviour is so good with happy faces and very helping with good nature. The rooms are cleaned amazingly. Best place for pure veg travellers. The quality and taste of food are really awesome. They prepare fresh food, even they cut the vegetables and all other preparations before the order itself. Really anyone should try this experience once if they want their travel to be marvelous.

Property is quite good and located near taxi stand. Staff is good and co operative, food is nice but little bit costly.

Very nice hospitality and front desk is supportive. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Good view.

The location with room space is big and the staff's behaviour is good. Overall good.

We were stayed here second time. All are upto the mark. Location is good. Staff are very active. Rooms are & ambiance are very good. Food was very tasty.

Hotel service is really pleasant location is on the main road so cabs are easily available for the center would highly recommend for nice stay.

We stayed for 3 nights, the room, food, service were excellent. The location is bit far from m g marg but transportation is okay.

Good quality of food and breakfast. Warm water available anytime. By provide electric kettle, good behaviour by all the staff, tea can be taken anytime by providing raw material of tea.
