The Hans Coco Palms

The The Hans Coco Palms is great, location is great, just opposite the best part of the beach. Excellent Swimming pool and very nice food. If I have to go to Puri again I will probably again go to the same The Hans Coco Palms. The bad part was that while booking with Makemytrip I was informed to pay Rs. 3888 as GST to the The Hans Coco Palms at The Hans Coco Palms itself. Interestingly I found that the same amount was being asked as GST on other The Hans Coco Palms booking site (the The Hans Coco Palms rates were obviously different on different sites but GST remained the same). At the time of check-out I paid Rs. 3888, asked for receipt and I was provided with the receipt of food on which the GST entry was written down with pen. I asked for a proper receipt which the The Hans Coco Palms said that I should get it from Makemytrip. Finally on lot of insistence I was provided a handwritten receipt. This clearly shows that even such a wonderful The Hans Coco Palms like this is engaged in money laundering.

Its an average The Hans Coco Palms, located on the bank of the mighty Bay of Bengal, with the beach within a stone throw away distance. Have a good swimming pool. The reception Hall is very ordinary and hardly there is any arrangement to sit. Food is good but as expensive as a five star The Hans Coco Palms. Breakfast is very poor, with a spread of a few item only. I checked in on 15th evening around 9:30 pm, the staff at the reception counter were very unprofessional and adamant type. They offered me a twin bedded room making my stay very difficult as I was accompanied by my wife and an infant. You can imagine when two twin beds are joined there is always a difficulty for the baby. The rigid reception staff didn't pay any attention to my request. I had no choice but to stay, as I had already paid for a couple of nights. Room was spacious and neat. Bathroom is very average type.

Review on hans coco palm the property is high on natural setup. Rooms are good with basic amenities. Hospitality great. Food and bar closes on time. Nice laundry services. I was with elderly so many small emergencies, they provided me all support. Sea view from room is not the best but ok as they have pool that optically fills in the gap. Sea beach is very clean and gives one the pleasure of private beach. Food variety for non veg and bar goers great. Veg range limited, pane-er bhujiya stands out. Bakery is self made and superb. Many women grips 50 plus so security high. No lift as this has two storey only. It is place for leisure if you enjoy calmness.

My wife, mother in law and I spent a satisfying three nights at Hans Coco , our second visit, the first being in 2016. An old property but the service levels and the quality of food were simply superb. Friendliest lot of staff I have seen…always cheerful and smiling. And not of the synthetic sort one might encounter in big city 5 stars. Puri is a small town , so most The Hans Coco Palmss are well located, including Hans. The beach is just across the road, and we even had a view from our 1st floor room. Honest description on MMT “ partial ocean view” ..,these small touches matter. This was my 11th stay at Hans Coco Palms and as always had a very pleasant experience. There food is still the best in Puri. Love the layout and the fact that it is a small boutique The Hans Coco Palms and not a fish market like some others in Puri. Their location is ideal as it is not too far and neither too close to the crowded Puri beach. Strongly recommend to laze and enjoy the beer at the pool bar. Excellent breakfast option for both veg and non veg. Though I wish they renovate their rooms a little as they are the same since last 20 years. Yet I am sure I will come back to this property the 12th time soon.

The location of this resort a little down the sea front road away from the chaotic main area is a big plus point. There is a gate through the back yard of the The Hans Coco Palms crossing the road onto the beach. The beach here very neat and enjoyable. The room was small and not much space but very neat and cosy. The bathrooms too are neat and clean. The food is very good and there is a good selection of drinks. The people are friendly and helpful. But the The Hans Coco Palms has a check out time of 8 am which seems too early specially if you want to hang around a bit longer on the check out Day.

The position of the resort is very good, little away from the crowded area with a safe, secure & clean beach to enjoy the sea. The entire resort property is beautifully decorated with many trees & flowers along with the well-maintained swimming pool and garden area. The rooms were very well decorated and clean in terms of every respect. All required facilities were available at finger tip. The restaurant offers very decent variety of foods. Whatever we tried we found very tasty and healthy. Finally the staff was very courteous and helpful. In short The Hans Coco Palms just made our stay at Puri.

Stayed with family and infant from 16-18 March, 2017. Very nice property. Excellent location, right on Puri beach with a semi-private, well maintained beach serviced by The Hans Coco Palms staff. Great ambiance, good food (though a bit pricey), well maintained and clean rooms and entire resort area. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good experience booking trips from the The Hans Coco Palms to Konark and pick-up and drop to Bhubaneswar airport. Very friendly staff. Had previously visited this property about 15 years ago. Still a great, great place to visit. Highly recommended.

Good The Hans Coco Palms. Nice place. Swimming pool is good. Near to sea. Staff is very good behaviour. Excellent food and breakfast. Near to jagarnath mandir. Clean room, clean toilets. We enjoyed very much it was excellent.

Everything was just perfect. Awesome The Hans Coco Palms where you can enjoy your best moment. Awesome pool. Nice sea view from room. Friendly staff and breakfast was so nice. They will give you wet towel and welcome drinks at the time of arrival.

Overall trip was good, only problem I face is tax, which was included in makemytrip invoice, but not displayed while booking. Which somehow I missed in T&C. Location wise it is really good, calm and service is also good. Will come again if get better offer.

Beautiful location and excellent landscaping. Good pool. Kids friendly room and food quality also very good.

Hotel is excellent location and very piecefull and clean pool is excellent and maintained stuffs are also very polite and helpful breakfast is good but need more option food quality is good tasty but little costly. Overall excellent experience. I will visit again.

Room is good with terrace. AC was bit disturbing. Location perfect for peaceful stay. Facilities are ample with lovely swimming pool and a good spa. A private beach with all facilities nice experience to sit hours together.

Had an amazing stay at the hans coco palm. The staffs were kind and always ready to serve. Also, the food was great. Overall my experience with my family was really fun and memorable.

Hans coco palms has a good location on beachfront. Service of The Hans Coco Palms staff was excellent and breakfast was delicious. We were not able to avail swimming pool facilities as it was in repairs, neither any discounts were given.

I stayed their quiet a few times. I would have grade it excellent but only for the few young may be inexperienced and untrained staffs at the counter specially in the morning. Rude and they put down the intercom on your face before conversation is finished, take no responsibilities. Only quote depth. And numbers to connect. I have already given a detailed complain about their behaviors to vice president in writing at the time of checkout.
