The Herb Farm

If you are looking to take your family away from the city crowd and give freedom to relax freely like me, then its the right place for you. Special mention for the staff who are very prompt and co-operative. However, some things that may not be of everybody's liking eg. Buffet breakfast options are so limited that if you cant have poha and misal pav then you have to ask for a separate option like we did on both the days. Kudos the staff and cook they made aloo parathas to save my family from skipping breakfast. Similarly, bathroom accessories are not upto the 3-5 star The Herb Farm mark. Cold cream bottles were already half used. So, some basic issues. Also, if you are looking for kids outdoor games, not much open space to move around and as the river backwater is on one side of plot, you cannot play cricket etc. Best part was the bon-fire that we enjoyed in the night in lovely chilly winds. Overall peaceful stay.

Placed right next to the nashik highway and also near to the railway lines you would assume this place to be loud and busy. However we found the experience very calm and soothing. With the river laid out right before you and the small patches of paddy fields this was a surreal experience. We took the super luxury cottage and though small and quaint it was amazing. The food did not start on the right note but ended on a high. The only little niggle we faced was the bug problem in the night outside the rooms. But all in all a great stay with the family and a surreal experience. Special mention to the cleanlinessaintained and also the way the property has been laid out.

As per the price, the The Herb Farm was not that luxurious. Curtains were dirty. Room outside place was dirty. Service from night 10 pm to morning 9 am you will not get the service no one will answer the call. Food was just the worst. The manager itself suggest a good The Herb Farm near buy. Too high for rates and stay ambiance too low. View and everything were fabulous. The swimming pool was fabulous. Rooms are good. I thought it would be inside IGATPURI but it is not, it's exactly situated on the highway to you can't feel the IGATPURI winds cloud and all. Overall ok experience. You can just try ones.

The rooms were nice with minimal but elegant decor. However, the 2 things worth pointing out was that the The Herb Farm is very close to the highway and that adds a certain nuisance value. The bigger downer were the facilities at the The Herb Farm, the archery board was not available so had to make to with random targets, the carrom board was not maintained, the cycles didn’t have functional brakes. Overall it’s a good place for a group of friends with a couple of board games. The paid food like lunch and dinner were good but breakfast was a downer in terms of both taste and variety.

If you're looking for a nice and quiet place to relax, rejuvenate and just be, i'd definitely recommend this! Loved The experience here. The rooms are great, spacious, well lit, clean, and with amazing views. The staff is very welcoming, generous and helpful. The food is delicious, too, although they could have a better variety. The chinese cuisine could also be better, but The indian food was really good. The location gives you a perfect view of The River, The highway, The railway line, The Hills and spectacular sunrises.

The herb farm, is a relatively small place, but inspite of that, the super luxury cottages, the welcoming, smiling staff and reasonably good food make up for it. Activities wise, they do have bicycles, carrom board, small but clean swimming pool making the stay enjoyable. The only flip side is, it's located right on mumbai nashik highway, and a railway line. So it's a bit busy throughout the day and night, however, when you are inside the cottage, the noise is negligible. Worth a stay for a couple of days.

This property is located near Mundegaon and is right there in Mumbai-Agra highway towards Nashik. We took MSRTC bus from Igatpuri station and reached the location in around 20min. This place is very nice and beautiful for short vacations. Cozy rooms nice ambience.kids play area, lots of mango trees, best veg restaurant food was delicious. If you want peace and quiet place book their luxury cottages as super luxury cottages are very close to highway and a railway track which might cause disturbance.

Very good experience of staying in the natural ambiance. Lake view in evening and morning was breathtaking and excellent. Arrangements are very good and the staff was very caring and nice. Kids play area was very good and safe for kids. Enjoying swimming pool experience with safety gear. Enjoying the table tennis playing after long time. Cycling in the surrounding area taken me to the childhood days. Room service was prompt and very good. Room cleanliness and hygiene is extremely good.

Amazing! the time spend at the herb farm was just mesmerizing. View, rooms, activites and food were just perfect. Would like to recommend others as well.

The food and service was good but since it's situated on The highway there was lot of noise of traffic and even trains passing by as The railway line was very close other than that it was nice

It was a nice place with natural greenery, and a good ambience we had to relax a lot. Many things to do cycling, table tennis etc. Kids enjoy a lot. We will visit again.

Everything is too far away from The location. It's nice if you are travelling by your own vehicle

Value for money, right on the highway. Polite staff, clean and sanitised rooms and washrooms. Loved the a la cart e food menu, but breakfast was disappointing. Overall a very nice experience and can imagine this place being very beautiful during rains.

If you plan to visit igatpuri/nashik, this has to be your place to stay! great cottages, excellent hospitality, amazing food and ambience. In short, a perfect weekend getaway far from the fast life of city! come and enjoy the environment!
