Staying on a houseboat in Dal Lake was an absolutely magical experience! The houseboat itself was beautifully designed with traditional Kashmiri décor, intricate wood carvings, and a warm, cozy atmosphere. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. The hospitality was exceptional—the hosts were welcoming, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed. The home-cooked Kashmiri meals were delicious, offering an authentic taste of local cuisine. The peaceful shikara ride on the lake added to the charm, making the experience even more memorable.

I'm pleased to say that my family had the best time at the heritage houseboat. I'm impressed with the services, staff, chefs and waitresses. All the staff are so well trained and they do everything in their power to make our stay unforgettable. I would be unfair if i listed some names and not others, so i prefer to send my thank you to all of you, the heritage team, for taking care of my family and specially my son who has a special condition. They took care of his food necessities with care and courtesy. I'll never forget. Thank you and may god bless each one of you.

First of all the water pressure and shower are amazing. The rooms are very luxurious with lots of old school wood accents. They're very cozy with huge windows and very nice views. The views from everywhere are stunning. If that's not reason enough to stay here then let's talk about the first class services
