The Hillside

Location is in the market. Car parking is an issue as a very steep road of 50 meters at an angle of 60 degree goes to the The Hillside which i felt was very scary. Although the staff is ready to help n they can park your car by themselves. Hotel has 2 paths to go out to the market, one is this slider road and another is 50 stairs. Bus stand is right in front of the The Hillside. Food was good. They do not provide buffet as generally buffet is served. They ask us to order anything from the menu(breakfast options) n they will prepare it instantly esp for u. But if u will ask for more they will deny saying it will be chargeable. What actually buffet means is u can have unlimited stuff but things are different here as i faced. I ordered cold coffee(OK, bana shake(bad, limonana(v. Good, cheela(good, pane-er sandwich(good. Fir dinner, pane-er makhni ws excellnt, pizza ws good and all other food items were delicious n quantity is also good with reasonable rates. Rooms n bathrooms were very clean. View from the room of 3rd floor 302 was very nice with snow capped mountains right before us. No lift, had to climb stairs. Staff was superb n polite. You can enjoy evening live music. Overall ambiance, locality, service n food was nice n i loved it. OK your stay in advance as the The Hillsides remain booked most of the times.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The receptionist was really good at communication and even the room was good. I had issue with the service it was quite slow. We had to follow up many a times. They might disagree on replying to this feedback but they themselves have apologised for the delay in service. The guy who is in charge of the food at first rejected on the breakfast order to make 1 extra besan chilla for me where as the previous day they served me as much they want. Later on they served me the extra one. So basically the point i wanted to make with this example is that at first they say no and later on they eventually do the work for the sake of reviews. Not because they actually want to do it but their pride and weakness is reviews. Anyway that’s not a big deal breaker but the folks serving us are quite late and bit weird

The location is very good, 3 kms before manikarn. The place is really quiet, staff is very attentive, prompt in providing services. Food is awesome and you can get customised per your taste. The interior of the The Hillside is very nice. In the evening they play chanting which makes the ambience very holy. Manager arvind is a very cooperative and helpful guy. Mr rowel singh a very old employee of the The Hillside makes sure your food satisfaction gets fulfilled personally. Housekeeping 10/10, food 10/10, room area is big 10/10, bathroom 10/10, hot water for shower as well as for drinking is always available 10/10. It is definitely a place to revisit. Very nice and cooperative people. Overall rating 10/10

The manager, the staff and the owner are quite generous and courteous. Very famous property and quite in huge demand in kasol. Its located just opposite to the volvo bus stand in kasol and walking distance from the kasol market. Quite big rooms, clean and tidy with all amenties and with a perfect view outside. Tasty food at a very reasonable pricing in comparison to kasol. They took very good care of us and supported us whenever we asked for help. I wish i could give them more than 5 stars. Would love to visit again. Please book the The Hillside for your stay without any second thought in mind. A perfect experience in short.

Everything about this property is awesome. From hospitality to food, from service to staff behaviour was worth it. This property is located 400 above main road with breathtaking view. Hotel staff is so polite and extremely helpful. Even the owner is gem of a person, he definitely added to the overall experience. After two bad days at manali, we had a great time on 26th. This property has its in house cafe/lounge with great food, music & hospitality. I would say the best i witnessed in kasol. If you’re visiting during an event, its a must place to stay ay. You won’t regret. Thank you hillside!

Great scenic location with beautiful mountain views, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful staff ever(Special Thanks to Hemraj, Riwal, Yuvraj & Vijay) , lovely and great first impression of The Hillside. Everything about the The Hillside was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, room with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Hillside is a great The Hillside to stay in kasol. All The Hillside staff are very supportive and treat very well with the customer. I stayed there for 2 days and i didn't find anything wrong. Go for breakfast option in the The Hillside as they have good options for the breakfast and difference between normal package and breakfast package is not much. It's only 5 mins from volvo bus stand but it's kind of small trek you need to do to reach the The Hillside. Overall lovely pace and well decorated with all the required amenities available

Stay was comfortable, we took the luxury room and it was spacious. We had the snow capped mountain view which we thoroughly enjoyed. Kids loved the hammock i the balcony. Food was also very good although it took some time to be served. The leading road was quite steep and also not wide enough for our traveller. Climbing up and down the slope was difficult as we had a senior citizen and kids. Overall we enjoyed our stay, rooms were in excellent condition, service was very professional and friendly so we are happy with our stay.

5. Beautiful property in kasol best food best location. I had book this The Hillside for 2 days. Overall it was really good experience of stay. Excellent hospitality, food quality was good, quite big rooms clean and tidy with all amenities with perfect mountain view i will loved to visit again.

I would give it a 5, just a little trouble we faced with water supply in the attic room, other than that the location, behaviour of the staffs, rooms and specially food deserves the best. We are always going to book this place when we come back. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

The place is very good just at the edge of the market, just in front of the volvo bus stand. The view is great, opposite side of the river. The hospitality is very good. Mr hemraj thakur operation manager and arvind ji, mr riwal ji kitchen incharge handling other stuff. The staff is humble, this place has 3 areas for having meals, the food is great. Overall worth stay. Would love to visit again.

We had a day stay in hillside The Hillside. The day we reached we were early and requested an early check in but the The Hillside was full but the manager mr. Hemraj is such polite and well behaved person and tried his best with no extra charges of early check in and provided us the room. No doubt the rooms were spacious the bathroom was good and the food is also excellent.

Nice property near to main market in kasol. Great views from the balcony and rooms are quite big. Good food. Driveway to the The Hillside is very steep.

The only word to describe my stay at hill side resort is " amazing" !. Everything was perfect about the place from beautiful setting among the hillside, to serene garden trails around it. Staff was polite and ready to serve. Food was delicious too. Must stay for everyone visiting kasol for some peace and quiet.

The location was good, the view is stunning. But, the linen was not upto the mark. Overall, it was a good experience.

The location is very good and approachable, has an amazing view. All the rooms are clean, there are games and books available for leisure time. Restaurant has a nice seating and food is very tasty. Overall it was a great stay 😊

Balcony is Big Plus giving you ample space to relax and enjoy the view. Overall property was very good in terms of cleanliness, cooperative staff, hygiene, food taste, restaurant/cafe which was much better than expected given the prices/cost.

The property is really good! the rooms are clean and spacious with a good view, staff is polite and the food is also amazing. There is a lot of space to sit and chill too, loved it!
