The Himalayan

I am out of words to describe my experience at this stunning place. So much warmth from the staff and a feel like family experience from such a luxurious The Himalayan was indeed a very pleasant surprise. The manager staff is such a dedicated person- dedicated in truly giving you the best experience and such an honest and humble get man as well. It was a birthday trip for us and I don't think I have spent a better birthday in my entire life. Staff person and the rest of the staff did not leave a stone upturned to make us feel super comfortable with the stay. Staff who served us food was again a very dedicated guy and the food was so full of quality. Poha, waffles, pancake, eggs there s wasn't one thing that will be less of delicious taste. We arrived extremely late at the time of check-in, thanks to the delay in kullu flights and still we were given our breakfast option. I can go on and on for the warmth that we received here but lets just stop at good wishes. The The Himalayan is located in the corner of the city with such breath-taking views of the snow-clad mountains that getting out of the The Himalayan used to be a task. We could stay all day in the The Himalayan with the facilities that the The Himalayan provides and waking up to such a beautiful view is something I will remember for a lifetime.

Well ., the place might be a little dearer on the moolah but the only time you will feel about that is when you book. I must say it is an amazing property and run well by excellent people. Excellent location, very clean rooms and brilliant support staff. And how can I not mention about the breakfast? The best complimentary breakfast ever .! The Hiker's breakfast is so good that you wanna forget hiking and keep hogging :). I stayed for 4 days at the place and am extremely satisfied with the overall experience. Do not miss out on The Himalayan resort and the guy at desk (Vivek Thakur) who can help you with all your needs at Manali. Cheers to all.

Himalayan is having best location with Hadimba temple just 200m away, Mall road 1. 5km away and Old Manali where most of the restaurants are there around 1. 5 km away. You can walk down to any of the locations. I personally had good time as due to small problem in room (the bathroom lock was not there which was making my 2yr kid to go there again and again). Had complain the same to the The Himalayan manager and he was considerate enough to shift me to cottage which was fantastic. It was having beautiful view, balcony, kitchen, good size room along with good services. Had spent 3 nights there which was quite a relaxing stay.

What a lovely surprise we got when we finally arrived at the The Himalayan. It looks like a little English Castle from the Gate. Upon seeing the cottage that was arranged for us, we cannot be more pleased! The front porch of our cottage overlooked the beautiful snowy mountains. Interior of the cottage looks like a cosy home complete with fireplace! Bedrooms are clean, toilets has hot and cold water running, as well as bathroom amenities. Hotel service staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

I along with my husband n 7 yr old stayed for 3 nights. We were on a christmas vacation. We stayed in main wing chamber 2. The stay n food was very comfortable. Was like living in a castle. Takes u altogether to a different era. With a real fire place. The pool should have been temperature controlled n indoor. As climate in Manali is always cold. Also some evening entertainment would have been cream on The top. Otherwise people who like to spend some quite time, this is The best The Himalayan.

the The Himalayan is definitely overhyped.. the only good thing about this is the castle 🏰 feels!. the food needs major improvement, the breakfast tastes average and it's not buffet which is fine but one expects a lot better taste. the bathroom needed renovation, the cubicle in our bathroom had moulds. the leather on the couch inside the room is worn out too. the swimming pool is not functional which doesn't justify the hefty amount per night per room.

If your looking for a cost and quiet place to stay, the most terrific view of all Kulu Valley and the best staff service then the Himalayan is the place to stay. The location is the most convenient of all Manali and the cuisine will amaze you with the local specialties as well as western high ranking dishes.
This room was just marvelous, there are all amenities you could think of and even a working fireplace.

This was a very good property to be staying at. It has a nice view of the city. Do go to the top on what the The Himalayan calls a "Crow's Nest" to get an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. The place is away from the hustle bustle of Manali and yet it is close enough that a 10 minutes walk and you are at the Mall. The best margarita pizza I have had in a long time. The staff also was courteous and helpful.

This The Himalayan is located at a distance of 2km from the market and just half km from Hadimba temple. Property is really amazing with nice spacious rooms and a breath taking view. Loved my stay. Staff are also very courteous.

No WiFi, television recharge too 48 hours and HD channels not available.

Very good location and view was excellent. No sound. Behaviour of staff was very good and courteous. Cleanliness was good. We stayed for four day. We enjoyed stay here.

Stayed in the cottage facing the swimming pool had mesmerizing view. But cottages need a revamp. Food was good. Service was prompt. On the whole a good package.

Service are very good and friendly, cool welcome at reception, spectacular view add more, food was delicious superb, nice ambience, had a vintage experience, simply gorgeous stay will come back

The property is very beautiful. Cottages are nicely maintained. Breakfast is offered in full variety. The staff is cordial and Vivek is there to help you in any way.

A victorian gothic property nestled amid-st the valley. A must visit property - gives you the castle experience.

Location was near Hadimba Temple. Mall road was with 10 minutes of walking distance. room was very nice and comfortable though some issue with water temperature setting in the bathroom. Food was also very good.

The stay was totally worth it! I loved the ambience. It was really amazing.
