The Himalayan Vista, Ranikhet

The Himalayan Vista is by far the best tourist accommodation in central Ranikhet. Close to Ranikhet's main Market Road, it is on a side road conmecting to the much quieter Thandi Road, hence above the din and frenzy of the Ranikhet market. Most rooms enjoy fine views of the Kumaon and Garhwal Himalayas on clear mornings, helping the hotel to live up to its name - Himalayan Vista. The rooms are spacious, the white walls and ceiling helps enhance the feeling of space. There's a radiator for chilly days, a fan for warm days, 24×7 hot water supply, warm lights and a wall-mounted flat TV for the TV enthusiasts. There's a kitchen on the premises and they can rustle up some fairly delicious meals for you. Above all, the service is commendable. The staff are willing to listen and serve - from changing the linen to delivering your meals, and even checking up with you for your dinner order, before closing the kitchen. The staff at the reception is warm and friendly and the check-in was a breeze.

The room had a beautiful view of the snow capped Himalayan mountains. The room was spacious and clean. Overall the experience was really great.

good hotel in budget, visited with family. rooftop has a nice view, landscape view from each room. pujan singh is very much helpfull. all the staffs are so good. food is also goo.

Room was not cleaned fitting of bathroom were not fitted properly make my trip charged more than tariff of hotel around 2500

The room had seepage so we changed the room which was better. Food was ok and the staff were cooperative. Hotel needs more maintainence and more staff.

The hotel is in a good location and rooms are overall clean and food options although limited are good. The beds can be better and the hotel is having seepage proble. S in places which needs to be renovated, other than that the staff were polite and helpful. Added

The location is good, however, cleaning and room maintenance is not good, breakfast is the worst. Only one item they are providing. That also, have to wait more than 1 hour.

Bathroom geysor not working, electric kettle not working, breakfast terrible. Only puri and some aloo sabji given with minimal aloo, no proper utensils like plate and spoon available. Bathroom smells bad. All n all below average hotel. Staff totally unprofessional. Request mm t to stop booking for this hotel.

Great hotel at an advantageous location near gandhi chowk. Rooms are spacious with a good view of himalayan range. Perfect place for a relaxed stay. Room is furnished with a modern touch.

Good property & location is also near taxi / bus stand. Food is also good. Only problem mattress, it's not comfortable.

Good hotel! but need some cleaning and a bed sheet should change every day. Service is good poor-an singh and sachin are taking good care of the customer.

Location of this hotel is very good. Snow capped mountain peaks can be visible from from the bed through big windows. All modern facilities are available. Staffs are very helpful, humble and cooperative.
