The Hosteller Chikmagalur

Location is 12kms from the town. Get a taxi or auto to commute. Hostel staff usually arranges the transportation so one might take there help! food is north indian and personally i loved it. They serve only veg food. A loo paratha was extremely good. Decent price. Hospitality. It's a hostel so there is no service here. But staff and vibe is such that makes the stay great. Staff. Anuj was wonderful as a host and you can take help and he will be happy to help the travellers. Housekeeping staff rajat were good too. Overall, my stay with them was so really wonderful and peaceful. Come again!. Staff was humble and supportive. Dorm rooms were cleaned everyday and beds were soft and comfortable. Badminton area was huge and had a fun match. Located 12kms from the town. Food was priced nominal and tasted well. Nice hospitality.

Amazing! location, facilities and service is great. The cost is worth the experience and must give a try. The location basically works both ways, either as a peaceful stay slightly away from chimagalur town or as a point easily accessible to town. You will find the space comfortable either as a solo traveller or even in groups. You are provided with various recreational activities and relax, books to read and above all great facilitators making the space feel home! would come back again and lovely to have met host anuj!

The host sandeep was helpful. Dorm rooms were pretty clean everyday and they offered veg options where taste was good but slightly high priced. They had badminton court, guitar, chess etc and some more recreational activities during the day and in night it's campfire and musical evenings. It's a backpackers hostel so don't expect a service like a The Hosteller Chikmagalur or resort. I met travellers or wfm travellers whom i can became good friends. Overall, a very nice stay and fun vibes.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The best part is that it is located in the middle of a coffee estate, away from all the hustle bustle of the otherwise touristy location. Its secluded but at the same time reachable. It is definitely a good option for someone who wants to unwind, have a good experience, and wants a cost effective stay. The food is decent and there are not many options but they are new and would expand eventually. The staff is very helpful too.

I have resigned my job & came to this place just to relax. As a solo traveller, we always look for a good company. I met great people here and made some good memories. Staff here are so humble and helpful. Anuj is a great host and coolest guy i’ve met so far. He made me feel so comfortable and assisted throughout my stay. I recommend this place to everyone who wants peace. Going back home carrying so many memories. Thank you hos-teller chikmagalur!

Excellent property, hassle free check in, the host is excellent and helpful, rooms are clean and the size of rooms are average, since it’s budget friendly, there is nothing to complain about, food is amazing and prices are a slightly higher since it’s a remote location, amazing location in the middle of coffee estate, there is 700 meters gravel road to the property which isn’t bad, overall great experience and looking forward to visit again

Stay was good property location is in nature staff is friendly but only food is so expensive according to hostel it should be affordable becouse there is no outside food option around anyone who going for long stay he or she will not be able to afford food expense also according to price food is average. Not that much tasty as they charge. Please take this suggestion seriously and improve rates. Thanks

The property is beautiful (more during the night) and the price is reasonable as well. It's surrounded by a coffee plantation. They grow their own coffee and spices here. The service is top-notch and the host anuj is welcoming as well. Food is good but they serve mostly north indian. You can get both travel options and recommendations here. Will come back to this place again.

Stay was calm and good, entertainment was also there to enjoy along with couple, this stay was adorable and memorable throughout my life and also it was keeping me enthusiastic through out my stay in that resort

It is a good economical stay. Best part is to talk to fellow travellers over the bon fire and learn new places to explore in the locality

I stayed there for 3 nights and it was just awesome. The staffs were friendly, service were good and most importantly the place is just so pleasant and wonderful. Must give a try especially if you are planning for a workation. Will surely rate 4/5.

It was fantastic. The staff is so helpful and really chilled out. Govinda and abhishek made sure to keep us engaged with community activities. Food by chef praskash was also excellent.

Stay was so comfortable and the manager was so nice in nature. Location of hos-teller was very good. Enjoyed my stay kind of worth the money.

Amazing and friendly host anuj. Fairly located from the city centre. Anuj also provided assistance for transportation as i was traveling solo. Food is tasty and property has a nice touch to it. Rooms and washrooms are clean. Definitely recommend

the hostel is a perfect destination for solo travellers, I had the best experience here i stayed here for 3 days and it was the best ,i must surely say the staff is very friendly. I tell anyone who is visiting chikmangalore to have their stay here❤️

The overall experience was really great. Situated amid-st the coffee plantation. A bit far from the main city but the stay and the food was great. The cleanliness of the rooms and specially to name mr anuj who was helpful throughout the stay. To name also of mr chandu, abdul for the tasty food provided. Thanks hos-teller for hosting my family. Will visit again.
