The property is situated on the edge of a hill with rooms spread through the carvings of hill which feels amazing! The rooms have good space both in dormitories and private rooms! One thing to note - if you are going with your own or rented vehicle - try to take the highway and don’t trust the short route shown by google - because the short route has steep hairpin bends! Please check the whole google maps route before deciding on the route - especially the end part!

The trip to Munnar was quite exciting. The Hosteller is a great place to stay, the property is quite spacious! People came from different states...made many friends...the hospitality was amazing!There's a stall/restaurant nearby for food and drink options. Overall, a good experience. GLHF!

Positive: My stay at The Hosteller Munnar was truly memorable. The property is beautifully located amidst nature, giving a unique experience of being directly connected with the surroundings. I stayed in a room where, every morning, the clouds literally came right outside, creating a magical view and a peaceful start to the day. The atmosphere felt refreshing, calm, and very natural—perfect for anyone looking to disconnect from city life and soak in the beauty of Munnar. The hostel itself has a warm and welcoming vibe, ideal for solo travelers like me. The combination of amazing nature views, comfortable rooms, and a friendly environment made my stay very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Munnar for an authentic and unforgettable experience. Negative: The menu prices felt a bit on the higher side and could be reduced slightly to offer better value for money. Also, the entry route to the property is quite challenging, especially around 6 PM when I visited. About 5 kilometers before reaching, there was dense fog and no clear direction signs. Since I was alone on a bike and had no mobile network for maps, it was very difficult to find the way. This is an important area for improvement to make access easier and safer for visitors.
